Redroom Sessions - An Electronic Music Podcast - Deep House, Techno, Chill, Disco
SASCH (Rome, ITALY) Sasch stands for genuine and catchy house music, in which deepness meets the brightness of melody in a dense layering of groove and emotion. It is not surprising when you look at his personal life experiences: born in Moscow’s suburbs Sasch grew up with ’80s Electro-Pop and ’90s Dance Music as his childhood soundtrack. Soon he discovered the joy of composing and experimenting with acoustic and electronic instruments. An utterly open-minded approach to music and life, with a unique style that combines different musical nuances and melts them into one great deep-slow music experience. https://soundcloud.com/sasch-music

Growing up in the city of Berlin he was highly influenced by the electronic music scene in the 90’s. He spent a couple of years in Chicago and Shanghai where he got involved with the local electronic music scene, which ultimately shaped his outlook on electronic music today. With Techno music and DJing being his greatest passion for a long time he started to work on his own productions in 2008. Since then he has produced Techno, Tech-House and Minimal music for various record labels worldwide. In 2012 he joined the Berlin based Deep House Label Steyoyoke. He is responsible for the most successful Steyoyoke release in collaboration with Antonio Olivieri, ‘If I Were Music’. The most original sound on Steyoyoke comes fully endorsed by DJ W!ld, Larsson, Dyed Soundorom, Aki Bergen and ONNO. Proceeding with his new name he has done remixes for Soul Button, Florian Rietze and Sasch. In the summer of 2013 MPathy makes his solo voice heard for the first time with an established and rousing first EP ‘I’m Yours’ for Steyoyoke, a collaboration with the seductive vocals of the highly talented singer and songwriter Amy Capilari. With so much more to come from this young artist, ‘Iʼm Yours’ is testament to the philosophy that drives MPathy forward. MPathy is eager to push off in his own direction to continue to challenge and provoke existing concepts of making unique and forward thinking music. ┋INFOBOX MPATHY┋ www.soundcloud.com/mpathymusic www.facebook.com/mpathymusic pro.beatport.com/artist/mpathy/320590 booking contact booking@fuony.com Download for free on The Artist Union

Fresh from his little adventure to Brazil, Sasch has knocked us up a storm of a mix to reacquaint ourselves with the young DJ. With a reflective start, the journey quickly moves into a more playful, funkier style that Sasch has become well known for. Welcome back!. http://www.steyoyoke.com/
Out of the Darkness, Into the Light Do not be fooled by the slow start, it does get a bit of oomph as we proceed. Thanks to Hayden for helping me finishing it. I was stuck in Tranceland and did to have the guts to either upload it or take another direction. I opted for the latter, for better or worse but at least I moved on! Continuing the Deep & Progressive vibe of the previous sets. I originally went into Trance, only to abort after hearing the end result. Did not have the fortitude to upload as it had dropped, sat on it for almost a month until I decide to tame it down. The end is a bit lazy, by that time I was over it. Those with tuned, discerning and akin ears will get an idea where it was going after 45 minutes.. into my beloved Trouse.. Playlist: I Like Chopin (Downtempo Mix). Chilli Cruiser Wandering (Nicko Vee Leaving The Sea Behind Remix) . Herr Semi Stars (Original Mix) [Xtian Lost in Music Edit feat Cevin Fisher]. Ed Lee Little People(Original Mix) Soul Button feat. Sasch Young and Beautiful (Nikos Kalogerias Remix). Nikos Kalogerias feat. Lana Del Rey Room For Happiness (Extended Mix) . Kaskade feat Skylar Grey Crockett's Theme (Tom Middleton Cosmos Mix) (Xtian Gotta Have House edit feat. DJ Spen]. Michael Cassette For A Memory (Sundriver Vocal Mix) . Mango, Aeron Aether feat Civil Servants Tell Me Why (Vocal Club Mix) [Xtian Way Back Edit feat Jay Vegas]. Supermode Why Did I Chose Titanium? (Xtian Edit MOSMash]. Supermode feat Sia & Cut Up Boys Blue Coast (Enso Remix). Numbersix feat Emily Spiller Ordinary People (Ziger Remix vs. Original vs. Extended Mix) . DJ Borra vs. Aiman Beretta Nocturnal Dusk_(JaysWays Remix). Johnny Green Nocturnal Dawn vs. Nocturnal Dusk (Original Mix vs. 5am PILL Mix) [Xtian Edit] . Johnny Green Highlights: Loving 1 through 5. Great progressive trancy gems. Starting with Herr Semi “Wandering”, Stars from Ed Lee and “Little People” from Soul Button. Amazing crisp production. Put your headphones on and enjoy. Though it may just be a personal quirk of mine , I find that the current deep/progressive house productions, are a lot more “worked” than the soulful ones.. Somehow it seems that the tunes are more original, whereas the soulful tunes produced really are not exciting.. Lana del Rey “Young and Beautiful”, another inspired Nikos Kalogerias remix.. Originally included for my kids but truth be told commercial as it may be I love it.. Moderately happy with what I did with the trancy “Crockett’s Theme” from Michael Cassette of A&B fame. Could not resist using Tell Me Why (to the great dismay of my wife) to introduce the mash-up of Titanium.. Had to learn how to change keys of a sample for that one, which meant going back to music theory after my ten year old look at me with blank eyes when I asked “How many semitones between this key and that key?”.. Working it out and getting it semi-right which was the highlight of the month for me.. Love “Blue Coast” nice little indie number where I have first used the re ix deck of my new toy ( New Tratktor S2). “Ordinary People” and the double “Nocturnal Dusk” and “Nocturnal Dawn” were last minute addition when I scrapped the trancy end.. Please check out the production of those, it is close to perfection.. The layering and mastering in both tunes is as good as you will ever hear. Lining up a XXX rated sexy set for which I need to spare one night session as I want to do it in one take to stick to the filthy vibe. Furthermore waiting for a remix package to drop on Traxsource on the 8/11 to hopefully headline the set. In the meantime, I most probably will toy around with a beachy, soulful number. I am starting to accumulate decent new tunes in that segment and I feel it is time to get “Out of the Darkness and Into the Light”. Hope you enjoy my tunes. A bientôt Xtian

For Steyoyoke’s latest podcast installment rising producer Sasch brings us deep and sultry summer grooves. Known for deep, densely layered sounds, he also showcases his influences from the 80’s electro-pop and 90’s dance music of his youth in Moscow. We are pleased to present Sasch, a midsummer night’s beats. He begins weaving his tale with a sharp transition from Grovesnor’s vocals to the dark, sexy, brooding sounds of “Die Suche” as we head to the party. A hot summer night, driving fast down the road, headlights breaking at the bends. Slinky, dark, techy beats. Then the party begins. Sasch deftly brings us to a night that is pulsing and body’s moving with “Nobody Else”. Sasch continues his tale delivering true beat love. We are brought to the peak of the party with his own track “Still I Rise” followed by a decidedly French and lustful turn. The hookup! Celebratory sounds of la discotecha bring us back to the late night party. The midsummer night that you don’t want to ever end.
