In 2014, Ran officially joined to the successful Berlin based label Steyoyoke, with his ‘Fractured Memories’ EP. Это тот случай, когда я называю музыку "живой" по своему настроению, живой по своей сути. Это не больше десятка тактов одного и того же лупа в треке, это работа со смыслом.За Омидом соскучились? Я да, но еще больше я соскучился за стариками Echomen. Предлагаю два в одном - трек от любимчика Omid 16B и ремикс на него Echomen. Что из этого получилось, вы можете услышать в MAXIMUM. Nocturnes 3.0   Third and most probably last instalment of the Nocturnes series. Keeping up with the nightly vibe with some cheeky edits and my first original mash-up with “It’s You I Touch”. Best way I can describe the final set is as an attempt to blend Deep with Progressive house with a NYC undercurrent vibe. HVOB   Highlights Bar “Cooler Couleur », which is the only weak track and here because of the french accent sample, all tracks in the playlist are worth running to Beatport and Traxsource and paying for the original versions. “It’s You I Touch” is my first real attempt at a mash-up. "Touch" by Buraq & Patrick Podage vs. "It’s You" by FCL. I hope someone with real talent will pick up what is a good idea and make it great… Because those 2 tracks are begging for it. ”Leaves Falling” progressive trancy track with a Balearic tinge. It reminds me of early Chicane and Café del mar. “Sky in Your Eyes” you will recognize the main pads line and it will take you back! “Going Crazy” and “Start Again”, two solid tunes, with great male vocals and perfection of a bass line.. “No Eyes” from Claptone, with “Follow The Step”, the real gem of the set. I love the bass line, the production is beyond reproach, deep, sexy, progressive… Into “Follow The Step”, which was the discovery of the Miami Winter Music Conference (WMC), I am not sure I am giving the tune the credit it deserves and I will came back to it further down the road. Fairly satisfied with my 2 edits of “Black Room Boy” and “Let’s Play” giving them the NYC remix treatment with a Kev Cruz sample I hope put to good use. “All Cats Are Grey”, if you are an adult check the tune (starting at 58:46) you will have a laugh.. I stumbled on the Ed Weather sample a few months ago.. Priceless.. Finishing with "Spectra" and "Moon", 2 fantastic progressive gems... I may start the following progressive mix with "Spectra" to give the tune a bit more exposure. Not quite sure where I will go next, most probably soulful or if I have the time I will prepare an edit set for some freinds of mine dropping in over the weekend.. We shall see. In the meantime.. 2011 Dec "Take Your Time Young Man.." Obviously a wink and a nod to the mini "Mama Used to Say" mix and a private message to my nine year old son.. I am almost” housed-out” running out of good material and about to venture into Tranceland to get ready for the end of year festivities... Furthermore, in light of valuable comments posted on the web, I must confess that I did listen and have consequently tamed down the “gratuitous” sampling in this episode. The gist of “Take Your Time Young Man” is to transport the listener from a deep/techy groove (I need street cred ;) ) to a happy, funky place by the end of the set. I will have you on your tippy toes dancing around the room within a very small half hour! We start comfortably sat in Barcelona chairs in the back room, with a low, deep underground club vibe, filtered and tweaked to the max all destined to awaken your aural senses . Do not be discouraged ! Slowly some snippets of funk are introduced and sure enough we progress to an old skool soulful place to accommodate the glucose addict residing in all of us. Finally, we leave our comfy chairs, step in the main room and shake our collective a$$es to big club tunes… Well, at least this was the initial idea. To  sum up, it would appear that the "old guys" Grant Nelson, Rivera, Layabouts, ATFC has showing all the young ones, that they can wipe them off the charts at any time..   Travelling to Tranceland (unless I managed to finish off one mix I have on the hard drive and can't wrap up) as I need to prepare a New Eve Set.. and a brand new Traktor S2 deck is waiting for me still in the box.. Panting in anticipation..
