The blessing of the Lord… or “being blessed” has little to do with getting what you don’t have, and it especially does not have anything to do with God‘s approval or love. GOD’S Definition of Blessed is found in the Hebrew word, “Barack”, which means "to bow or bend to fill the hand." Numbers 6:24 “YHWH will kneel before you presenting gifts and will guard you with a hedge of protection.”

Following God's Leading
Last week we looked at what it means to honor marriage, a command from the Lord, and while we certainly see a marital directive, we saw a command for all people, married or single, to honor marriage, to honor the marriage bed. Today we see that we honor the home. We honor God’s design for society.
One reason history repeats itself is that we don’t own our parts of our history. And the reason you don’t own it is there’s nothing to own—it wasn’t your fault! But if something important has come to an end and you are starting over, you must look back and own your part in order to move ahead. Your best bet for a successful future is to own your share of the past.

This sermon is about the importance of preaching / sharing the gospel to the lost (Those who are not Born again, have not received the salvation of Jesus Christ) so that they will be saved (Born Again) and escape the wrath to come.
The Plant of the Apes genre is built on the premise that humans will be overtaken by apes and evolution ultimately wins. While many movies can devalue humanity for a variety of reasons, when you dig into the Scriptures, humans have a unique role on the earth that no other animal has. We are made in the image of God and because of this we have a purpose and destiny that provides hope despite our shortcomings.

Sunday sermons from Bellevue Presbyterian Church.
Pastor Jamie returned to our Origins series on Mothers day to speak about the origin of family. Family has been designed by God for our benefit. However, we live in an age where the concept of family is shifting rapidly but the structures of family are also changing rapidly. Which leaves the question for many people when/if they get marriage, what do I do? what is family? how do I created a God centred home? because they haven’t seen it modelled. The Bible gives us an intended design for family as God created it and in this message will explore those questions.
Because of His love for us: We stay calm and consistent even when others spin out of control. We influence our environment. Out environment does not influence us. We subdue it. We are intended to influence our environment, not the other way around.
