Yet James gives a surprising command: consider trials “pure joy” because God uses them to test faith, produce perseverance, and form maturity that lacks nothing (James 1:2–4). Father, as this day begins to close, I come to You with what I do not understand. You see the bigger picture. You know what I cannot see.  And You are working, even when I cannot feel it. If the day has unfolded in ways you didn't expect, or things feel unclear, this moment is for you. This is a prayer to settle your heart and trust that God is still at work. We are praying from the words of Jesus in the Lord's Prayer — “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done.” Father, in the middle of this day, we come back to You. Not with everything resolved.
