It's December: dark, often gloomy during daytime, and cold (at least in my emisphere!). So...are you feeling sleepy, sluggish, depressed, slow or not quite all there, but you are overall well and healthy? It could be the effect of the lack of exposure to daylight. In this episode I will share the findings from a university study conducted on rats and a psychatrist's explanation on why daylight is vital for our body and mind to function properly. It's not by mistake that I named my art studios Sunshine Studios... #depression #lightandmood #feelinglow #whydoIfeelsolow #lighttherapyworks #improveyourmood #postnataldepression

WISCONSIN MUSIC PODCAST Episode 022 Jamie Fontaine and the Level From the opening thumping beats of one of the band’s early originals, on their self titled debut album, the blues infused “Home”, you could tell there was something special about this band. The band that has hosted to many to count underground shows, to traveling both coasts of North America, just finished writing 3 songs in NASHVILLE with Malcolm Springer & Jason Schrick, with guidance from Holly Hutchinson and signed under Indie Label STRYKER RECORDS, INC. with Chris Dobry as Manager. We are currently working with Scott Wilson at Sunshine Studios in Colorado Springs! The band is growing with these additions and experiences with singer/songwriter Jamie Fontaine. His inspiring vocals are limitless and dynamic, and his lyrics leave you thinking long after the song has ended. The rhythmic duo of Colby Peters and Joseph Weise drive the pulse of this band with the fury of a tornado to the subtlety of a teardrop...and back again, seemingly effortlessly. In late 2019 they met and later added Lead Guitarist Tim Kempen. He added guitar leads on new songs and created parts for others. They mesh seamlessly with Kempen's electrifying guitar work, as if the band has but one heartbeat. Stay Along for the ride and we truly appreciate your support!
