"They were very gracious about it." At this time, it's unknown if recurring Flash characters Harry Wells and Jesse Quick managed, both denizens of Earth-2, escaped their world's destruction. However, according to Arrow star Stephen Amell, Oliver witnessing the destruction of an alternate Earth will continue to impact him for the rest of the season. https://www.cbr.com/arrow-clear-destruction-earth-2-flash-writers/ Green Arrow and the Canaries: Arrow Spinoff Series Gets First Promo Poster (Date: 16 Oct 2019) A new poster for the upcoming female-centric Arrow spinoff spotlights the new Green Arrow Mia Smoak (Katherine McNamara), as well as the two Canaries (Katie Cassidy and Juliana Harkavy), Laurel Lance and Dinah Drake. The art was shared by Arrow co-creator Marc Guggenheim. "Arrow's final season bows today, so it feels appropriate to share this glimpse of its future," he wrote. Stylized to look like a comic book, the art features Laurel and Dinah in their current costumes, while Mia seems to be wearing one inspired by her father. https://www.cbr.com/green-arrow-and-the-canaries-arrow-spinoff-series-first-promo-poster/ Crisis on Infinite Earths: Stephen Lobo Cast as Jim Corrigan, AKA The Spectre (Date: 16 Oct 2019) Another DC Comics icon will make their Arrowverse debut during the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. IGN can exclusively reveal that Detective Jim Corrigan, human host of the powerful cosmic entity known as the Spectre, will appear in the crossover. The CW has cast Stephen Lobo (Continuum, Supernatural) as Jim Corrigan. The network isn't confirming whether The Spectre himself will appear, though given the character's role in the original Crisis on Infinite Earths comic, that seems a distinct possibility. In the comics, Corrigan is a mortal human bonded to the Spectre, a powerful supernatural avenger. That bond is intended to give the so-called "Spirit of Vengeance" a conscience and a better perspective on mortal affairs. The two are among many heroes who do battle with the Anti-Monitor during Crisis. https://www.ign.com/articles/2019/10/16/crisis-on-infinite-earths-spectre-jim-corrigan-casting-crossover-cw-arrow-stephen-lobo FEEDBACK DISCORD: RandyWalker I totally forgot that Earth-2 Laurel went back to Earth-2. NGL I totally didn't pay attention to the ending few episodes of season 7. The FTA sucked then and it's still bad. Adrian Chase's hair was sexy yakk0dotorg very satisfying premiere of Arrow last night. I enjoyed it a lot. StephenJondrew Totally agree - right from start to finish. I loved the ending seconds. It was so good. Also, the Diggle-car scene was a fantastic moment. I enjoyed how that whole Diggle debut played out. E-MAIL: From David: First off I wanted to start off by saying I am going to miss your podcast. I look forward to your arrow recap every week. A couple of thoughts. Am I the only one who notices that the Queen mansion looked different. The foyer didnt look the same as it did in season 1 and 2. Also, do you guys have any speculation as to what happened to Robert Queen on Earth 2? The last thing I remember was that he was the hood. I also know people hate the Flash Forwards but I actually think they are building to a place where Oliver will end up in the future recruiting Mia and her team, since the Monitor told Felicity in the finale of season 7 "Believe me, the world will need her as well" NEXT EPISODE Link to Promo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kfj3xucI8Xk (Date: 15 Oct 2019) Episode: “Welcome to Hong Kong” [Season 8 Episode 2] Air Date: Tuesday, October 22, 2019 Summary: Oliver, John, Laurel, and Tatsu seek out an important person within The Monitor's plan. "The Thanatos Guild" is after Thea and the knowledge that they think she possesses. The Guild is a branch of the League of Assassins that Malcolm Merlyn started before he died. They're looking for a map that he left behind and only Thea Queen can get it for them. Nyssa al Ghul isn't too keen on letting them get it though, so she goes to warn Thea before the get there. This newest threat has caused a little snag in Thea and Roy's departure from this chaotic life. But the Guild isn't going to leave them alone until they get what they want. So Thea dons the red hood again to track down the map. Once they get it, Felicity does her best to discover what's on it, while her sister wife Nyssa looks over her shoulder. Roy is getting a little irritated that they keep getting pulled back in, but Thea isn't so sure she wants to escape this life now. This makes Oliver think about his choice to give up the hood too. Looks like our heroes still have some soul searching to do. Finally, after a little tussle with the Guild, Thea bleeds on the map and discovers a disturbing secret that gives her a new goal in life. Jay and Josh explore what it takes in life to make you truly happy on this week's Green Justice: An Arrow Podcast! Listen in and justice will be served...to your MP3 player!
As we draw closer to the final face-off between Oliver and Prometheus, the team must work together and draw on all resources and outside forces to take him down. Thea Queen returns to Star City, just in time to find new and unsettling information about Robert Queen’s past, bringing into question the legacy he has left for them. Other father/child relationships are strained on the team as well, as Rene must determine, with Lance’s help, what can be done about the custody of his child. On top of all of that, a new villain is unearthed this week, in the form of guest-star Cody Rhodes, and even more surprising new and old villains may be in the shadows, as Team Arrow prepares for many final battles. Have you ever had the feeling your city is "Haunted"? When there's a resurrected Canary running around, trying to kill people that look like Thea Queen, you start to get a little jumpy. So Oliver calls in an expert on spooky things, John Constantine. Captain Lance has troubles too. With the help of Diggle, he has to perform a task set up for him by Damien Darhk. And Curtis decodes Ray Palmer's final message to Felicity, but is pretty surprised by what it says. Jay and Josh look for a new beginning for the world and a nice glass of Merlot on this week's Green Justice: An Arrow Podcast. Listen in and justice will be served...to your MP3 player!
Get your superhero gear primed for "The Climb". After getting an ultimatum from Ra's Al Ghul, Oliver has 48 hours to track down Sara Lance's killer, or the people of Starling City will pay. Felicity is on it! Problem is, they determine the killer was Thea Queen! She was being manipulated by Malcolm Merlyn so Oliver would be forced to confess to Ra's and challenge him to a fight to the death. This would clear Malcolm, Thea, and Oliver so they could go back to leading perfectly normal lives. …or whatever passes for normal in Starling City. Meanwhile, Laurel spills the beans to her mother about Sara's death, and Ray Palmer shows Felicity his plans to get tiny. The mid-season cliff hanger involves an actual cliff and an epic sword fight to the death (?) Jay and Josh channel their inner Sherpa on this week's Green Justice: An Arrow Podcast. The Starling Tribune: An Unofficial Arrow TV Show Fan Podcast
Starling Tribune - Season 1 Edition - Episode 7: Muse Of Fire The Official Arrow Podcast of the Gonna Geek Network In this edition of The Starling Tribune Reporters Wing and Stargate Pioneer discuss the season 1 Arrow episode Muse Of Fire. The reporters discuss the episode as well as take a gander into the origin of the Batman based DC Comic character Huntress, one of Wing's favorite DC characters. The reporters comment on how sadly the episode was without the standard Arrow Flashbacks, but that the production team makes up for it with a Stephen Amell shirtless workout scene which gives SP time to ramble about the shirtless scenes in his gym locker room that no one should have to see. But the reporters also marvel that Stephen Amell seems to be able to run faster than a motorcycle. The reporters comment on how this was the first scene with Malcolm Merlyn and son Tommy Merlyn on screen together which was also their first on-screen clash. Tohmof Penikett, a genre actor that is well known to the reporters as the Grnadfather of the human race as shown on Battlestar Galactica, makes his Arrow appearance as does the leading Triad woman in her first appearance since the series pilot episode. The reporters were glad to see Walter back but assess that Moira Queen does not have a clue of how to deal with her second husband at the moment. The reporters ask a very important question: Where exactly does Oliver Queen keep his Arrow suit while he is running around Starling City in a motorcycle? The reporters give a Oliver Queen nightclub status and the comment on Thea Queen character's potential in the series. The reporters ask another very important question: Who has the bigger Universe? DC Comic Book Universe or Stephen Hawking's Universe-Universe? In a rare moment of teaching, Stargate Pioneer tells Nightwing - the self-proclaimed film student - the first movie that had a post credit scene in it. And the two reporters finish off the episode by running through the Starling Tribune "Bat Checklist." If you missed us live catch us next time and chime in yourself!
