A 77-year-old prisoner has accused prison guards of beating him and is undertaking a hunger strike. Corrections says Dean Wickliffe refused to enter his cell, threw an item at guards and was injured after taking up a fighting stance. It says one staffer involved is not at work - and appropriate action will be taken if staff don't meet standards. Wickliffe hasn't eaten for 10 days. His lawyer, Annette Sykes, says he was beaten badly. "Photos have been released that show, quite clearly, that his version of events has some veracity." The Department of Basic Education has served the Information Regulator with an appeal challenging its decision to prohibit the publication of the 2024 matric results in the media. The move comes after the Regulator issued an infringement notice in November, ordering the department to provide an undertaking that it would not publish the results. The Worker Protection Act 2023 comes into force on 26 October 2024, imposing a new, proactive duty on all employers across the UK to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace. With at least 1 in 5 men and nearly half of all women experiencing sexual harassment at work, this new compliance duty is an important step employers must prepare for. The new “preventative duty” shifts beyond reacting to complaints and requires employers to take steps to prevent harassment from occurring in the first place. As I reflect on the past ten years, I'm filled with excitement and gratitude for the numerous accomplishments and growth opportunities. I've experienced. I strongly encourage engaging in a similar reflection exercise to foster personal growth and appreciation for one's journey. Self-reflection has been instrumental in my journey, particularly in recognizing the transformative power of practices like yoga in overcoming challenges and fostering personal growth. Undertaking a decade review prompts gratitude and sets the stage for future aspirations, empowering us to embrace new opportunities with curiosity and openness. Vocalizing desires and sharing them with others facilitates manifestation and growth while setting intentions and releasing stress promotes openness and flow in life. Embracing self-love, acknowledging achievements, and finding value in reflection promote growth, gratitude, and fulfillment. So, let's celebrate our proud moments, share our reflections, and continue this journey of growth and self-discovery together. What a surprising year it has been.  Blake and JB dive into the craziness that is Indiana Football.
