Dear subscribers of The Page 1 Challenge:This week, instead of hearing the first page of a book, you're going to hear this year's annual Silly Christmas song that I make for my grandchildren. It seems that posting it here is the easiest way to make it easy for them to listen to on a suitable device (since CDs are not a thing any more). In case you're curious, this is just the latest in a long line of goofy songs, such as:"I'm Dreaming Of A Green Pickle" (to the tune of I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas)"Old Banana" (to the tune of Copa Cabana)"Some Honey in His Oatmeal Bowl" (to the tune of Somebody That I used to Know)"When I Snore" (to the tune of When I Go - the Anna Kendricks cup song)"I Want Some Brand New Underwear for Christmas" (to the tune of I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas)You get the idea. Sorry for the deviation from the usual show. Merry Christmas.Support the showThe Page 1 Challenge website is http://ThePage1Challenge.comThe Page 1 Challenge podcasts are recorded and edited Podcastle.ai - an amazingly simple tool that is perfect for podcasters. We went Live with Keaton Simons and WOW! Sang his ass off... opened the show with When I Go, over 5 million views on YouTube, over 1.5 mil listens on Spotify... Killed it! Gave us the backstory of growing up with his dad, Jimmy, who created Moonlighting and Malcolm in the Middle. His mother, Eliza, who married Eric Roberts, and holy shit, did life get CRAZY. Keaton tells all... George Clooney was his babysitter... Say what?!? David Duchovny, before anything, playing with Chris Cornell, Santana, Cold Play... Bryan Cranston using Keaton's song for a Malcolm in the Middle... He sang again... my favorite, my life, Other Side... more stories... growing up with his younger sister in a house without a parent when Keaton was 16 and Morgan 13... what a life..: and yet, Keaton is educated, grounded, spiritual, focused, talented, successful, evolved... and forgiving. With wisdom to share. What a show! Closed with his tune about inspiration... and boy does he have that going on. O nome WRY no português significa torto, distorcido, estranho e irônico. Já dividiram o mesmo palco com bandas como The Rakes, The Subways, The Cribs, Fleeing New York, Houston500 e The Parkinsons. Lançaram o single Come And Fall/Where I Stand no começo de 2005 e estão preparando o lançamento de Airport Girl/In The Hell Of My Head pela Reckless Records/GooMusic para 2006, seguido de uma turnê pela Inglaterra. Wry também foi convidado a participar da coletânea “Never Lose That Feeling” de bandas novas fazendo covers de clássicos indie e shoegaze. Wry vai fazer “Some Candy Talking” do Jesus and Mary Chain. Coletânea “Sound Issues2” junto com bandas como The Magic Numbers e The Rakes. Wry entra com a inédita When I Go, gravada em Londres. Além da banda o vocalista Mario Bross promove duas noites Londrinas chamadas Goonite Club e Club Take Me To The Other Side, em lugares consagrados do rock britânico: Buffalo Bar e The Garage. Hoje Wry escuta bandas como Razorlight, The Strokes, U2, Legiao Urbana, Walkmen, NIN, Bloc Party, Test Icicles, Sonic Youth e My Bloody Valentine. Como Goo Goo Meginee Tour 2000/01, I LOVE&HATE YOU BRAZIL tour 2002 e a última WRY EM CHAMAS NO BRAZIL 2005/2006.
