Este miércoles 29 de octubre, a las 16:30 horas, se presenta en el edificio del Cantón el IV Horto Urbano de Ferrol, promovido por la Asociación Aprende a Voar con el apoyo del Concello y la Concejalía de Bienestar Social. El proyecto, dentro de la iniciativa “Sementando Vida en Ferrol”, busca consolidar la agricultura urbana como herramienta de sostenibilidad, inclusión social y bienestar comunitario. El nuevo huerto contará con mesas de cultivo para personas jubiladas y retiradas, accesibles e inclusivas, fomentando el encuentro intergeneracional. Entre las actividades destacan talleres de horticultura, floricultura y agricultura ecológica, orientados a mejorar hábitos alimentarios, combatir la soledad y reforzar la salud social. La iniciativa refuerza el compromiso de Ferrol con la creación de espacios verdes y comunitarios, mejorando la calidad de vida y la cohesión social de la vecindad. La titular de la Secretaría de Desarrollo Agrario, Territorial y Urbano, Edna Vega Rangel, informó que se han pagado cinco mil millones de pesos a pequeños propietarios y ejidatarios para la liberación del derecho de vía como parte de la ampliación de la infraestructura ferroviaria. En su comparecencia en el senado, el secretario de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana, Omar García Harfuch, afirmó que la estrategia nacional de seguridad funciona, debilita a cárteles y avanza en la pacificación del país. Secondo il report Ecosistema Urbano 2025 di Legambiente, AmbienteItalia e Sole24Ore, le città italiane non riescono a stare al passo degli obiettivi ambientali. Manca una strategia complessiva e permane l'emergenza nazionale sullo smog – nonostante alcuni piccoli passi in avanti su rifiuti e sprechi idrici. L'Unione Europea punta a liberarsi del tutto dai combustibili fossili russi dal 2028 – dopo aver già ridotto di molto l'importazione di petrolio e di gas.
