Based on the examples Topi shares his research on the role of commitment to finding agreements. He also shares how his research extends from a bilateral negotiation (as in a war of two parties) situation to a multilateral situation (as in the EU).   Topi Miettinen is professor of economics at Hanken School of Economics and Helsinki Graduate School of Economics. His research focuses on behavioural and experimental economics, microeconomics, and game theory.

Ale to nie znaczy, że nie uprawia polityki. Wręcz przeciwnie. Robi politykę w jej absolutnie esencjonalnie formie — czyli jątrzy i knuje. Twórcy słuchowiska politycznego „Stan Wyjątkowy” Andrzej Stankiewicz i Kamil Dziubka odnajdują macki Morawieckiego w większości kluczowych politycznych spraw, które dzieją się na prawicy. Jest Morawiecki skryty w aferze Rządowej Agencji Rezerw Strategicznych, która może doprowadzić PiS do politycznej katastrofy. Zakulisowo działa przy procesie wyboru prezydenckiego kandydata z obozu PiS, co także może doprowadzić do przetasowań na prawicy. Potajemnie knuje z prezydentem, który ustawia się w coraz większej kontrze do prezesa PiS. Tak, tak — na nasze oko pan Mateusz już rozpoczął cichą walkę o przejęcie schedy po Kaczyńskim. W tym wydaniu „Stanu Wyjątkowego” pokazujemy, jak Morawiecki topi kolejnych wybrańców Kaczyńskiego do prezydentury. Cel jest prosty — zmuszenie prezesa, aby na kandydata PiS wybrał Morawieckiego. Prezes czuje pismo nosem i oficjalnie wyklucza takie rozwiązanie. Ale to dopiero początek tej gry, w której Kaczyński — pozbawiany kolejnych, całkiem ciekawych kandydatów — jest w coraz trudniejszej sytuacji. Jeśli PiS przegra prezydenturę, to cały aparat władzy będzie mniej lub bardziej bezpośrednio kontrolowany przez Donalda Tuska. A on — nie miejmy wątpliwości — wykończy PiS. Może szybciej, może wolniej — ale na pewno systematycznie. Na nasze oko Kaczyński zaczyna powoli tracić społeczny słuch, zresztą takie głosy słyszymy także z wewnątrz PiS. W tej chwili na kandydata chce wyznaczyć szefa IPN, prawicowego radykała Karola Nawrockiego. Jednocześnie prezes składa ofertę wszystkim środowiskom narodowym. Chce zostać ich protektorem przed władzą Tuska, którego służby zaczynają pukać do narodowców o poranku. Kaczyński zadeklarował nawet, że po raz drugi w życiu pójdzie na Marsz Niepodległości — pierwszy raz maszerował w 2018 r., za rządów PiS, gdy w setną rocznicę odzyskania niepodległości podjął pierwszą próbę podporządkowania sobie narodowców. Szkopuł w tym, że to środowiska głośne, ale nieliczne. W dodatku sojusz z brunatnymi, gładko przystrzyżonymi może odstręczyć wyborców środka, których Kaczyński potrzebuje, żeby jego kandydat wygrał prezydenturę. Quo vadis, prezesie?
