A mother from Alabama is accused of shooting and killing her 13-year-old son while he was in his bed. This week, a 53-year-old mother is accused of murdering her teenage son with a gun. Mobile police responded to the 2000 block of Jones Lane on Monday, October 3, where they found a 13-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the back, as reported by WKRG-TV. It was reported that he was taken to a local hospital, where he later passed away. WALA-TV reported that the victim was a man named Ja'mil Autry. It was initially reported that Ja'mil had been shot in the back, but investigators have since determined that the wound was actually sustained in the chest. In an interview with WALA, Mobile County Assistant District Attorney Lauren Walsh said, "Evidence indicates that he would have been sleeping at the time." WKRG filmed police escorting Agee out of her house as she yelled and sobbed at reporters who had come to interview her. Police have been called to Agee's house 34 times in the last two years, and she reportedly has a criminal history dating back to the 1990s. Her bond was denied by the judge on Thursday, October 6th. They (Agee's family) are, however, of the opinion that the shooting was "an unexpected event," WKRG reports, adding, "She loved him." The truth is, she did." An investigation led to the arrest of a 23-year-old man on suspicion of burning his 1-year-old daughter, sending her to the intensive care unit. WPMI-TV reports that Eugene Sneed caused severe burns and internal injuries to his daughter by pouring boiling water down her throat. Niktoria Lett, the girl's mother, talked to WALA-TV and updated viewers on her daughter's condition. The girl, named Royalty, is "fighting for her life" due to the burns that cover 19% of her head. Lett allegedly witnessed the crime while attending the event in question. When she got back, she saw that Royalty's face, head, and shoulder looked all "messed up." Royalty suffered internal injuries and facial burns, so Lett and other family members rushed her to the Children and Women's Hospital at the University of South Alabama. There has been talk about how her lungs are "critical." Mother of the Royal Family to WALA "They can thus conclude that deliberate action was taken. They claimed it was something he did on purpose." It has been reported by WKRG-TV. According to reports, Sneed's trial for two unrelated charges related to an incident in which he allegedly fired shots at the mother of one of his children and at the child, who was 1 at the time, is set to begin at the end of October. Sneed was arrested for both first-degree domestic violence and aggravated child abuse, according to records from the Mobile County Jail. On Thursday, October 6th, a judge apparently revoked his bond, as reported by WKRG.
