Eddie Olczyk, TNT NHL Analyst takes a look back at the season that was for the Kraken and tells us what to look forward to the next. He thinks they have a team worthy of the postseason - but do they have the superstars necessary to win a Stanley Cup? Jury's still out. Eddie says while this season is a 'disappointment', the roster is there and now it's up to the coaching staff to figure it out. Plus, a quick playoff breakdown. Adam Silver's comments to a show recently tell a story, but it's not exactly the one we want to hear right at this moment. Rob Rang, FOX Sports and BC Lions joins Ian for the final time before the NFL Draft! Today we dive into the defensive lineman available and who would be the best fit for the Seahawks given their current roster. Checking in on the Text Line! Crosstalk with Softy!

10 seasons?!? So what better way to celebrate on an audio format but to add fresh graphics. With the CFL Combine in Regina and coming up quick Alex, Greg, and Steve look at the Riders Canadian Depth on Offense and look to see where Riders' GM will add new pieces. Plus it is the debut of "Remember that guy?" Greg tries to stump Alex and Steve with the who's who and who's that of Roughrider history. Then in the Odds and Endzones, the BC Lions were WAY over the cap but is there really any punishment if the league is going to just give them picks back anyway?

Ian had a panic moment this morning, but things are all ok now. Pete Carroll is back in the league with the Raiders and Ian contends he's at least a borderline hall of famer, only considering how difficult it is for coaches to get in these days. Ian sees him as a Bonafide HOFer. Danny O'Neil, The Dang Apostrophe! Danny was surprised by Pete Carroll's hiring in Las Vegas - not because he's back in the league, but where he ended up, as Chicago seemed like a more likely fit. It will be difficult for Pete to assemble a staff with so many of those in his coaching tree with current jobs. Who could be a target for him? Danny doesn't see Pete slowing down or changing his approach. Will Russell Wilson end up in Vegas? Finally, Danny gives his thoughts on Ichiro in the Hall of Fame. Ian, Anders and Jess thoughts on whether Pete Carroll will find success in Vegas. Stewart Mandel, The Athletic wraps up the college football season and starts with the College Football Playoff, which he deems a success for not only the 12 teams in it, but for college football as a whole. The NIL numbers are going to continue to rise and retention will become more and more difficult. Rob Rang, FOX Sports and BC Lions discusses the top of the NFL draft this year and how deep the offensive line class is this year.

Sometimes the road to professional football takes a non-traditional path. Colorado native Gabe Knapton knows that trail well. After playing linebacker for his dad, who demanded a lot as the head coach at Skyline High School in Longmont, Gabe had his choice of many colleges to continue his playing career. It came down to Wyoming and Colorado State. He chose to be a Cowboy because of alumni in his family and most importantly, the coaches. During his time in Laramie, the staff switched Gabe from linebacker to defensive end. He made the transition look easier than it was because of his motor and non-stop hustle. In reality, it was difficult to learn a very different position and physically he was still more like a linebacker. Regardless, he had hopes of getting drafted in the NFL and while a few teams called during the draft, no one called his name or his agent. Unsure of what to do at that point, Gabe's dad suggested taking a year off, working out and staying ready. So, he took a gap year before gap years were cool and eventually played indoor football with the Colorado Ice, then got his break with the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League. He would be named Montreal's Rookie of the Year and go on to play for several years in the CFL between Montreal and the BC Lions. In retirement, Gabe is a busy guy: husband, father of two, owner of Different Breed Performance gym and a firefighter with the City of Thornton. Listen to Gabe's story and conversation with Susie Wargin on the Cut Traded Fired Retired Podcast.

It's another Canucks gameday with the team in Anaheim to take on the Ducks. Matt and Blake take a look at the changes for tonight with Aatu Räty back to play centre and Pius Suter on EP40's line. And after just 2 games this season with more than 4 goals, is the offence due to breakout? John Shannon stops by with his thoughts on 11 NHL games on US election night, his impressions of the Canucks at the 10 game mark, Lankinen's signing vs the rest of the NHL free agents, and whether any NHL will the Canucks finally break teams are panicking over slow starts to the season. TSN's Farhan Lalji takes on the Canucks at 10 games as well, whether Pius Suter is the change that Elias Pettersson needs, and the questions surrounding the BC Lions from QB to head coach to management. All that, plus a change for the Whitecaps/LAFC playoff match on Friday, and the NFL trade deadline sees some action.
