I met today's guest back in September when we were both speaking at an event in Cartersville, Georgia. After hearing him speak, I knew I wanted him on the show. His name is Blake Hamby. Blake says, he has always had a passion for hunting. He attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College for a year in 2008 as a Wildlife Management major. After that, he worked as a Wrangler, guiding people on horseback at the 320 Guest Ranch in Big Sky, Montana for a couple of years. He then returned home and began guiding deer and hog hunts in Southern Illinois and South Alabama for a while, before deciding it was time to settle down and pursue a job that provided a living wage. After marrying his wife, they launched a small apparel line called Southern Longbeards. Together, they started and ran their local NWTF Chapter for six years. Currently, he works in Sales at Three Way Campers in Marietta, Georgia, a position he has held for nearly ten years. He and his family are also deeply involved in their small church in downtown Adairsville, Georgia. Additionally, he helps coach his sons in baseball and football. Blake is also a successful Out of State hunter. Traveling to several states to hunt and he shares with us some of his keys to success in doing so. Attorney Ken Riemer is a South Alabama native who is an exceptional consumer lawyer. This selective historical narrative has fostered a homogenized memory of the war, neglecting the rich array of cultural productions that also emerged alongside it. Commemorative Acts challenges these prevailing assumptions about the memory of the Great War and its literary expression in interwar France by spotlighting theatrical works that have largely been forgotten. The book uncovers how the dominance of first-person accounts of soldiers' experiences has subtly, yet powerfully, narrowed our understanding of what the memory of the Great War can encompass. It explores how drama, structurally at odds with the first-person perspective and defined by its simultaneous modes of expression and reception, has been lost to collective memory. In this Bell Work Talk, Dr. Ashleigh Bowman will introduce the key components of a business case, including calculating a return on investment (ROI). Forensic nurses should be able to articulate business components of the program and justify program costs for long-term sustainability. Bowman, DNP, CRNP, CPNP-AC, SANE-A, SANE-P, is an Associate Professor at the University of South Alabama, College of Nursing, and also maintains a faculty practice at USA Health's Children's & Women's Hospital Pediatric Emergency Department in Mobile, AL. She has been a certified acute care pediatric nurse practitioner since 2016 and became a pediatric SANE in 2020. She obtained her DNP in 2018 from the University of South Alabama. While Dr. Bowman has focused her clinical career on the care of acute and critically ill pediatric patients since 2012, her research and educational interests are focused on health policy and the intersection of policy impacts on clinical practice.
