Jesus said to His disciples in St John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you: my peace I give you: not as the world giveth give I unto you: Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" Friend, you can have peace through Jesus Christ.
When we face difficult circumstances we sometimes lose hope in God. It seems He is never there. However we must believe that even though we do not see Him, He is always right there
Reset today is a fresh start with God.,looking beyond our past mistakes and failures, seeking His guidance and direction and renewing our mind. Renewing the mind speaks of a life transformation, moving away from a wordly value system and lifestyle and growing in God's grace becoming like Christ every day.
Following Jesus is the best choice any human being can make but it is not easy. To follow Jesus means to embrace a life of self denial, and complete devotion to Christ. However, the many temptations and distractions in the world can make it difficult to stay focused on Christ and His teaching. Following Jesus is NEVER easy but it is always right.
Early morning prayer is a great way to start ones day. It is setting time aside to spend with God and seek His guidance and blessings before being consumed by our daily activities. Jesús did it, so should we.
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23. May we examine our actions and attitudes and humbly admit that we all need a Savior.
When a person comes to know the Lord in the pardoning of his sins, there is a party in heaven. GOD celebrates us when we return to Him. He forgives our sins, lavishes his grace upon us and restores our identity.
Fathers sometimes do not get good reviews. However, this episode is about a loving father. Although his son left home and basically wasted his life, he longed for him to come back. When he did he showered him with much love. The son received an extravagant welcome home. That is how our heavenly Father deals with us. It does not matter how far we had strayed and how we had sinned, we can always go back home.
Have you strayed from God, living in a state of moral decay and rebellion? It is time to come to your senses. God is waiting for you to return home. Your Heavenly Father has his arms outstretched. Those arms are filled with love. There is no voice of condemnation or accusation. He just wants you to come home.
We ought to pursue God in prayer and trust Him for what we need. When we persevere in prayer, God responds. So let us keep asking, seeking and knocking and believing that we shall receive.
Are you curious about the things of God? Your curiosity can be the gateway to unearthing great things about Him. If you seek Him with all your heart and feel after Him, I can assure you that you will find Him. Turn aside and see what God is saying to you today! H. Staple-Reid
The word of God gives light and understanding. The challenge today is to read the Bible for at least 15 minutes each day. God will speak to us through his word as we draw closer to Him.
We are valuable to God, so valuable that He sent His son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for us. There Jesus took the penalty of sin, sacrificed Himself and paid the price with His own blood. Friends it is essential that we allow Jesus to lead us. We have to tell ourselves: "Where He may lead me, I will go For I have learnt to trust Him so, and I remember t'was for me, That He was slain on Calvary." You will face obstacles, rough seas and some hardship but trust His ability to lead you through life's journey. He will never leave you alone. He is a friend who sticks closer than a brother so LET HIM LEAD YOU.
Has the desire to be successful put your soul in danger? Is being successful more important than drawing closer to God? At the end of your days on earth the life you live for God trumps everything you have attained. Therefore, live the life that counts. Live for Jesús. That is what really matters.
If you are spiritually thirsty, Jesus is offering you an invitation today to come and drink of the Water of Life freely. He wil give you that water. Through Him you will enjoy pardon and peace, deliverance and prosperity, restoration and a glorious future hope. You will have inner nourishment, deep spiritual satisfaction and eternal life. We live in a chaotic world and Jesus Christ is the only solid foundation on which we can build. Therefore, I encourage you this day, that when the Spirit of God speaks to you, you will agree with your whole heart, mind, body and soul and your answer will be yes, Lord, yes.
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens ( 2. Corinthians 5:1) Are you longing for your heavenly home?
A Double minded man is unstable in all his ways.(James 1:8)

Are you persuaded today to follow Christ? Are you motivated to have a closer walk with Him? To be "almost persuaded" is to be almost saved. That state does not really exist. Jesus said in Rev. 3:20" Behold I stand at the door and Knock, if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and sup with him, and he with me" Jesus is calling you to come to him today Will you obey and come to Him?
Have you ever thought about God's GRACE? God's Redemption At Christ's Expense. Yes, Jesus Christ is the embodiment of GRACE. On Calvary, God's life power and righteousness was given to undeserving sinners. This grace is available to anyone who believes and puts their trust in Him.
When faced with difficult times God is building our faith. Good will work out everything we go through for ultimate good. Roman's 8:28" And we know, that all things work together for good, to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose"
But God is a powerful phrase that calls attention to God's Grace and compassion in contrast to sin. We were sinking deep in sin but God rescued us. Today we can boldly say God delivered us from the clutches of sin and we are alive to walk in newness of life. Therefore, grow your but God perspective.
As a people we can always turn to God when we face difficult circumstances. God did not give us a spirit of fear. The Spirit gives us courage to face fearful situations, to endure suffering and be hopeful. Therefore, I encourage you to trust in God at all times. He is our Refuge and Strength. He is a present help in trouble.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto think own understanding. In all thy was acknowledge Him and He shall direct they path. Proverbs 3: 5-6
Life is sometimes filled with hard knocks to the extent that, if we are not strong in the Lord, we will lose our minds. However, when our heart is overwhelmed we can go to Jesus, the Rock that is higher than us. He is a shelter for us and a strong tower from the enemy. He is our hiding place. Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord, praise ye the Lord. Psalm 150:6 Regardless of your situation today, in spite of your conditon find a praise in your heart. Praise God that you are alive. The enemy may have launched his missiles but praise God anyhow.
Prayer is important in the life of the believer in Jesus Christ. Through Prayer we grow and maintain a relationship with God as we alignment our will ánd was to what He desire of us. We should endeavor to pray for others first..our loved ones, those who teach, national leaders and those at work, for those in trouble and then ourselves. Pray all in the name of Jesus. That name heals and delivers all. It is powerful and it works.
Rise, take up your bed and walk, is the clarion call today. Rise describes an elevation in our spiritual state, to a place closer to God. Getting up is proof that we have been cured spiritually. Therefore, we need to get up and do what God has called us to do.
"Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgive you" Eph. 4:32. God bless you as you forgive those who have hurt you. with forgiveness comes healing, and hope coupled with love which comes from the Father of light.
Ephesians 4:29 "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your month, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister Grace unto the hearers."
Lord, I need to understand my own heart. My prayer today is "Search me O God and know my heart. Try me and know my thoughts. And see if there be any wicked way in me and lead me in the way everlasting". Ps. 139:23-24
Love is a miracle but it is also vulnerable. We let our guards down and open up to those we trust. Sometimes we do get hurt and for some it is difficult to move on. However, God loves us and He wants us to know He does. His love was manifested on Calvary. There Jesus Christ gave His life for you and me. That is an AMAZING love. He loves you my friend. Evang. H. Faith has 2 parts a) a belief that God exists and b) the belief that he rewards them that seek him diligently. The woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5 believed that if she touched Jesus' clothes she would be whole. God can do the impossible and He never fails. Have faith in God
Today, Jesús is offering Salvation to you. Therefore, if you hear His voice calling to you, please do not harden your heart. Now is the accepted time, today is your day of Salvation..
Do you have any idols of the heart? Anything tjst gets our focus above God, anything that we give oyr attention to more than God, anything that we think about more than God...wealth, money, educational achievements, relationships, technology and the list continues...anything we desire more than God...needs to be removed from the throne of our heart and give God His rightful place.
Friends you may be facing a rough patch now. You are almost out of options. It may seem as if nothing is working in your favor. I am encouraging you to choose joy over hopelessness. Rejoice because the Lord is your refuge and strength. The rubber may have hit the road, you may be between a rock and a hard place...look beyond your circumstances..see the bigger picture..God is able..trust in Him and His word and choose to rejoice...look back at what he has done for you in the past and look ahead in hope. He can do the impossible.
Jesus wants us not only to love people who are lovable. He wants us to love the difficult- the complainers, the bullies, the gossipers and those who get on your last nerve. We are not perfect, yet He loves us. We must therefore love others like He does..it is a sure sign of faith.
God sometimes asks us to act on certain matters. Our obedience is KEY. Saul is a perfect example . God asked him to kill all the Amalekites. However, he only did it in part. He killed some and saved others including King Agag,the best of the sheep and oxen. God said he was sorry he had made Saul King and Saul was rejected. Although Samuel mourned for Saul, there was nothing he could do. God had already drawn the line. He chose David to replace Saul. Let us obey God and live.
Today when you examine the events of your life, what do you see? The situations that you face may not be good, but God says in Jeremiah 29:11 that the plans that He has for you are not to harm you. They are intended to give you hope and a future. Look around you and declare that everything that happened in my life that was good " God did It"
If someone has hurt or wronged you, do something about it. FORGIVE! Jesus said in St Matthew 6:15 " But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." We live in a corrupt world and as Christians we MUST take a stand for holiness and righteousness. This simply means drawing the line on activities which go against our beliefs and values. Yes, you may lose some friends and family may turn against you, when you do but i assure you that God will stand by you. When the night is the blackest he has promised that He will never leave us nor forsake us...so let us draw the line on ungodly practices, friendships and anything else that goes against the Word of God. Hate is a strong word with strobg connotations. It is often overused or misused. However, it is the stronger side of righteousness....but it must be handled with care. We sjould never hate individuals but we must hate evil... A righteous man should love God but hate lying and every false way.
