To be born of the Spirit refers to the baptism of the Holy Ghost. This is what happened on the day of Pentecost when Jesus' disciples and other believers were filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Being born of water and of the Spirit places the believer into the Kingdom of God. Without the Spirit of Christ, we are none of His. Real-Life Japanese with Kaichi (Kaichiと学ぶ生の日本語!)

【Reference Site】 https://www.japanistry.com/event/hakone-ekiden/ Ekiden (駅伝) is the term for road relay in Japanese, the two kanji meaning “station” and “transmission” in reference to the posts that were set up at regular distances along the Tokaido during the Edo period. The first competition was held in 1917—a gruelling 500km race from Kyoto to Tokyo—and today there are numerous competitions up and down the country, but the most famous one is undoubtedly the Hakone Ekiden. Hakone Ekiden is held on 2nd and 3rd January each year and begins and ends in front of the head offices of the Yomiuri Shimbun (the newspaper which sponsored the first event and whose then Social Affairs Department chief editor coined the term “Ekiden”). University teams of 10 competitors, run 107.5km on the first day to Lake Ashi in Hakone, and 109.6km on the second (each split into 5 sections) to return to Tokyo. The first Hakone Ekiden was held in 1920 between four universities, but now the competition—which is televised and followed widely—sees about 21 universities compete (the top 10 from the previous year's race are given automatic entry to next year's event). Aoyama Gakuin, Toyo University, Waseda University, and Komazawa University have been strong in recent years. 1, History of Hakone Ekiden 2, Why Hakone Ekiden attracts Japanese people? 3, How to enjoy watching the race 【Music】 久石譲『Runner of the Spirit』 --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/kaichijapanese/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/kaichijapanese/support

Mark 10:45 For the Son of Man also came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Romans 5:8 But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. This teaching is given from the cosmologically expanded understanding revealed in The URANTIA Book (Fifth Epochal Revelation) that there are mortals on other worlds throughout the Grand Universe, and that many of these worlds are more advanced culturally, socially and spiritually than ours. Looking at some of the mores and laws of a higher society that is similar, but more evolved than us can assist us in developing our planetary culture and social systems. Our planet, having experienced the Lucifer Rebellion, is out of divine pattern and suffers from many dysfunctions, which Niánn Emerson Chase describes. One of these is patho-adolesence; much of our dominant culture encourages immaturity, focus on the physical rather than the spiritual, and an unhealthy obsession with youth. As Niánn shares, having the gift of Fifth and Continuing Fifth Epochal Revelation (The URANTIA Book and The Cosmic Family volumes) gives us a broader cosmic context of reality and divine pattern, and assists us to identify our societal and global problems and implement personal change for planetary progress. See The URANTIA Book, Paper 72: Government on a Neighboring Planet, Section 3: “The Home Life” Niánn also references the relationship of Christ Michael and the Universe Mother Spirit of Nebadon, detailed in The URANTIA Book, Paper 33: Administration of the Local Universe, Section 3: “The Universe Son and Spirit” --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/vanetics/message

“By The Spirit” Praying in the Spirit - Part 2 “But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.” (Jude 1:20–21 NIV11) The Spirit is on our side, Rom 8.26a A primary work of the Spirit is to convince us of and help us experience the love of God. When you live with a sense of shame you know this is not from the Spirit.  “..hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” (Romans 5:5 NIV11).  The Holy Spirit opens a channel so that God’s love may be made real to us. “For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.” (Eph 2:18 NIV11) In light of this truth, the difference this will make to my prayer life is…………….. The Spirit prays for us, Rom 8.26b A primary work of the Spirit is to help us pray.  “The Spirit, however, makes our groaning his groaning, putting his prayers to the Father inside our prayers. He does so by placing within us a deep, inexpressible longing to do God’s will and see his glory….The Spirit enables us to long for the future glory of God and his will, even though we don’t know the specific thing we should pray for here and now.” Keller, Prayer (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1444750178/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_0aAmDbZT9FWJR) , page 72  In light of this truth, the difference this will make to my prayer life is…………….. The Spirit moves us towards God’s will, Rom 8.27 A primary objective of Spirit is to get us to the will of God. “your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matt 6:10 NIV11).  ““The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”” (Matthew 26:41 NIV11).  “After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.” (Acts 4:31 NIV11). “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” (Eph 6:18).  “..in the Spirit means more than by the Spirit’s help. The Spirit is the atmosphere of Christians’ lives, and as they live in the Spirit grace will be given to watch, and power to continue in prayer.” Foulkes, Francis. Ephesians: An Intro and Commentary. (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1844742962/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_YbAmDbM1JZ9XG)   In light of this truth, the difference this will make to my prayer life is…………….. Summary, Luke 11.1-13 Pray with humility, vv1-4 Learn to pray (Lk 11.1) Learn to forgive (Eph 4.32). Pray with confidence, vv5-13 Confident in perseverance, Lk 18.1-8.
