Sometimes we time travel and sometimes we discuss matters of heart and mind.
The Feast of Unleavened Bread is mentioned a lot around the time of Jesus's crucifixion. Understanding it's timing is crucial to keeping track of the timing of things. Since God put all those time markers in there, it seems like it is worth paying attention. Leaven is mentioned in other significant ways in both Old and New Testament. From its institution, the Passover was open for anyone who trusted in Yahweh to celebrate. There was only one requirement and it wasn't being descended from Israel. However, Israel is obviously still chosen as part of the celebration because of where the Passover was to be celebrated, a mysterious place until they entered the Promised Land. The word Sabbath is actually generic in and of itself. It becomes important when you add the description "of the LORD." Similarly, the feasts are important because Yahweh sets them out, both for remembrance and to point to Jesus. But they haven't all been fulfilled yet! We are living in the gap between fulfillment of the first feasts and the pending fulfillment of the second round of feasts (in the seventh month). When our children were young, being raised at home, we had Bible reading pretty much every morning. As part of that, I put many passages to song for easier memorization. We recorded most of them. Some of them I "produced" in a very minimal way using Garageband loops and such. All scripture for these songs is from the New King James Version translation of the Bible. The subtitle for this song is So Walk in Him. I am singing this this song. See this link for a full list of Bible Memory Songs: Bible Memory Songs. Since this is the first song published, it is the only one on the list so far. Others will be added to as I publish them!
This chapter covers significant people and events 1300 - 1500, including an exceptional Bavarian Emperor and another man known to history only as "Friend of God from Oberland." This excerpt from a document in Strassburg, dated 1404, well describes the true followers of Jesus Christ (the true church) that the corrupt Roman Catholic hierarchy and political power has always tried to stamp out: "But if she disappears in one place we know that she is to be seen in other lands, even if the saints are only a few who lead a good life and remain in the holy fellowship."
