Is Eve's desire mentioned in Genesis 3:16 sinful? We often view Genesis 3:14-19 as judgment and when we do, we find Eve's desire for her husband to be a desire for his position. But when we understand the pronouncements of God on the participants in the first sin in a covenantal motif, we find that reconciliation is foremost in the minds of God and in Adam and Eve.
