Big fan and friend of Sam & Ash, Liv told a tale of when a fellow gym bunny mistook her name for that of her dogs and referred to it from there on, after considerable time had passed can she go back and correct her protein pumping pal?

The Aussie Sssssnake Wranglers are back with season 2, so og course we needed to find out what the goss was with the whole team!

Possibly one of the most loved BB contestants of all time Dave has rode the wave of fame after being the first competitor to come out on live TV. The brave move entrenched Dave in Aussie TV folklore, now a cult figure, everyone was surprised to see him kicked to the kerb in this series, in speaking with Sam and Ash though, a relived Dave said that he couldn't stand another day in the house and feels the new look Big Brother is way too competitive now and didn't think he could last much longer in any event. Dave is now focusing his time and energy on working his farm and giving back to the community. 

Shaun 'Pie-ney' Pyne has not angered Sam & Ash, he has just disappointed them. As one of the judges in this years Australia's Best Pie competition, Pie-ney has clearly buckled to the pressure of the woke minority by unanimously awarding the oh so la-teee-daaa Truffle and Mushroom pie as Australia's Best!!!! Not a skerrick of meat to be seen..... Sam & Ash grilled the big fella in an effort to find out what the bloody hell he was thinking...

Frank Woodley is heading up the Aussie version of the long running UK hit TV show would I lie to you...(tonight 840pm on TEN)  Also featuring our very own Chrissy Swan this show promises to be a hoot and a holler as they try and outsmart each other with the cunning wiles. Would I lie to you? Absolutely....

We love Angie Kent and even though she's been booted from the show, it was nice to see the real her again... Dancing With The Stars does that, it beings the best out of everyone...

Sam and Ash asked what bands you would like to see back together? 

We love Paulini, be it on stage in the Bodyguard, TV on Idol or dodging parking inspectors she is always entertaining. Sam and Ash are huge fans and love having her on the the show. Today she announced she is in the running to be the next Eurovision contender for Australia following the footsteps of the likes of Guy Sebastian, Kate Miller-Heidke and Dami Im. Sabrina Durante already has a superstar name, luckily she has the talent to match...the GC local releases her debut single Glad Its Not Me on all the platforms today.  'A mix of pop and country' is how the songbird describes her style and we can't get enough....look out Swifty ;)  Sam & Ash

Yep, its official the Sunshine Coast has its very own airline and we all think its BONZA, well.....coz.....that's what they're called.....BONZA!

Interestingly non of the artists get paid for the gig, instead "the exposure" is the lure.... All eyes will be on the SoFi Stadium, Los Angeles for the concert of a lifetime.....apparently there's a footy match on between the tigers and the sheep! Go Sheep......

Super Coach Kylee Byrne dropped by to chat with Sam & Ash about the new recruits at team Lightning and gave them an insights as what to expect this year from the gun side... Coach Kylee is excited at the changes and thinks the mix of experience and exuberance is perfect going in to 2022.

Johnny was on MAFS, but prior to and continuing his acting career he and Shake N Stir Theatre company, arguably Brisbane's No 1 Theatrical producers, have unleashed a genius new show written by Nellie Lee and performed like a "choose your own adventure" with audience voting with their phones to determine the direction of the show. Its all about the dating scene with its pitfalls and perils Fourth-Coming opens at QPAC later this week, get on it... 

She a familiar face from the tele as an actor, now Brooke Blurton expands her search for love as this seasons Bachelorette. Brooke will represent the first Indigenous and openly bisexual bachi and as such will have a bevvy of boys and babes on the show to choose from....this should be fun! 

There has always got to be a first loser and on this season of the Bachelorette Jordan is that one... He joined Sam & Ash to share his experience...

Chris Sun would have to be one of the most celebrated and successful Sunny Coasters in the film industry, the Nambour boy has a new flick ready for release and could do so anywhere in the world, instead he has chosen 'home' to release his star studded feature 'The Possessed'  As part of the promo for the movie Chris along with a legit Exorcist popped into the studio.... Spooky? you bet... Sam & Ash are hosting the world premiere of the Possessed SAT 30th OCT 2021 at the Nightquarter Birtinya....

Sam had a memorial cup named after him at his old school (Matthew Flinders Anglican College) for the annual Old Boys V 1st 11 Cricket Match, to celebrate his Heart Attack survival....however because he DID survive there was no point in a memorial cup anymore..... 

Who doesn't love Dr Chris? The dreamy Bondi Vet is back with a brand new show, seemed like good enough reason to have a chat.

Sophie Monk has been a fan favourite at HOT91.1 for many years....maybe not as far back as Bardot, but defs a long time. Sophie has always been straight up with us, so when asked what she thought of the true nature of the 'contestants' on this season of Love Is. we knew we would get the truth.

The Masked Singer revealed Anastacia as its season three winner, which meant the person hiding in the Dolly costume in the Nollsy position was none other than comedian and radio star Em Rusciano. Em has long thought herself a singer, with an incredibly unique voice, which begged the question with unmistakable voices like Anastacia, Macy Gray and Em how did the judges not pick them?

Riley Batcheldor, remember the name.... Riley is the newest signing to the Sunshine Coast Lightning side shaping up nicely for the 2022 season. A highly regarded goaler this young gun can shoot from anywhere inside or outside the circle, she already has a history with super coach Kylie Byrne who has said "Batcheldor will bring bounce into the circle and sting in their attack, versatility is the key" Welcome aboard Riley. 

Long time legend of HOT91 Harley Breen has been a regular on the show....what can we say, we love the guy. But when asked the question of how much the pandemic had thrown his career into a spin Breen detailed how producers came to him with a CRAFTING TV show!!!!!! That bad

Shimm, the Shiminator, Shimmo, Shimiester, SHimmatron are just some o the names Kate Shimmin goes by, bloody legend will do. Very happy to see this chick sign back on with the Lightning for 2022.

Pete Murray first joined HOT91.1 back in 2014 where he played Pablo the Mixed Up Mexican in the show stopping Old and Rusty....a role and character he has never since been able to emulate or improve upon ;)  Good to have you back Pete....
