First up, Ed Sheeran joined Benny Blanco on his podcast for a brutally honest conversation about being “normal looking guys” in an industry full of heart-throbs.Then… we need to talk about MAFS. This week’s couples retreat was meant to be romantic, but instead delivered one of the most chaotic storylines of the entire season. From explosive fights and shifting alliances to a very awkward intimacy revelation that dominated multiple episodes, we’re unpacking the moment everyone’s talking about — and why the fallout has completely split the group.Plus, we unpack the couple who finally left the experiment (and why viewers were relieved), the “I love you” moment that didn’t quite land and the shocking teaser that suggests next week could expose secret messages between the brides.THE END BITSLove binge-watching TV? We have it all in this edition of Weekend Watch. First, a dinosaur doco narrated by Morgan Freeman that’s equal parts thrilling and educational. Then, a reality dating show exploring age-gap romance like you’ve never seen it before, with 40 singles hiding their ages, commitment rings, and plenty of awkward, heartwarming moments. Plus, an action-packed, team-based military movie where elite rangers take on a mysterious killer machine — explosions, guns, and just a touch of supernatural chaos make it impossible to look away. And finally, a new Colleen Hoover adaptation brings her signature emotional twists and on-screen chemistry to life — perfect for anyone who loves romance, drama, and the moments that make you ugly-cry. Four very different vibes. One very stacked weekend. Here are the bloopers from Em's Dinosaur doco that she thinks are hilarious. THE END BITSLove binge-watching TV? Being firmly children of the '90s, all three hosts of Indieventure are at least passingly familiar with Blind Date, the British dating game show that ran from 1985 to 2003 which was iconically hosted by Cilla Black and Paul O'Grady. Look, I promise this is relevant. When we realised we couldn't do our originally planned topic for this episode and needed to come up with something else at short-notice, and also that the release date fell right around Valentine's Day, we threw around some ideas and eventually realised we'd just re-invented Blind Date with extra steps. Such is the millennial curse, I suppose (one of many). So yes, this is one for the bit-o'-bullshit fans, as we trot out indie gaming's most eligible batches (I'm told that this is the gender-neutral term for bachelors and bachelorettes – I'm personally a proponent of bachelandorette but fine, it's fine) for a dating game panel show type arrangement. We each attempt to embody our chosen singletons (and a few that we thought just ought to dump their canonical partners); ask some off-the-wall questions of one another; get briefly weirded out because as long-time friends playing a dating game together is a surprisingly odd experience; and generally attempt to do improv despite none of us being trained in the art. It goes surprisingly well! We had a lot of fun, hopefully you will too. I won't spoil the surprise by revealing the dates right here, but suffice to say if you've ever wondered which character from another game should be the next addition to Melinoë's polycule, or whether Chef Fujimoto from Octodad has healed enough to move on with his life and find love… well, the answers are all in this episode. Allegedly. I cannot stress enough that none of this is canon, and for legal reasons we don't claim that it is. We finish, as ever, on our hyperfixations, and it says a lot about the vibes of this episode that they're comparatively quite hinged this week. In preparation for the imminent release of Resi 9, Liam has been addressing the sole gap in his Resident Evil franchise knowledge by finally playing RE6 to see if it's as bad as he remembers from when he played half an hour at launch and then dropped off it. Rachel continues her commitment to playing fewer games slower with shout-outs to upcoming Paranormasight sequel The Mermaid's Curse, Cairn, and hidden gem of the farming/social sim genre Before The Green Moon. Rebecca, meanwhile, has been tempted back into the MCU by the word-of-mouth reputation of Wonder Man – an honestly brilliant buddy dramedy about the vicious world of Hollywood that just happens to feature some superheroes occasionally – and can't believe that Disney isn't doing more to promote their best Marvel offering in years that just happens to feature two men of colour as the leads, hmmm how strange, GO WATCH WONDER MAN while you ponder that one everybody. Our music was written and performed by Ollie Newbury! Find him on Instagram at @newbsmusic. Meanwhile, you can find us at indieventurepodcast.co.uk or wherever you listen to podcasts. This week, a very special guest joins our “Traitors” recap to discuss a big episode for The Housewife Slayer: Peter Shamshiri, co-host of the If Books Could Kill and 5-4 podcasts! We get into the episode's big Candiace vs. Rob stand-off, the recruitment at the end, and discuss what the future might hold for this season. But first, we spend a little time close-reading the new casting announcement for Chris Harrison's alarming trad-coded dating show. The vibes… are dark. “Either you stand for something or you fall for anything.”This Earth Xperience features Skyler, also known as @iamsoworthy42, whose recent appearance on Pop The Balloon (Find Love) with Arlette Amuli sparked wide conversation about dating, belief systems, masculinity, and what people are actually building their lives on.Rather than focusing on the show itself, this episode moves beneath the surface. Skyler reflects on how public dating conversations often reduce people to sound bites, preferences, or viral moments, while real life is shaped by values, accountability, faith, and lived experience. He shares how his beliefs were formed through family dynamics, marriage, divorce, fatherhood, and intentional spiritual searching rather than trends or online discourse. The conversation explores what it means to be a man who chooses structure in a culture that celebrates flexibility. Skyler speaks openly about faith beyond labels, love as action rather than feeling, and responsibility as something practiced daily, not performed publicly. Masculinity is discussed through protection, provision, emotional presence, and discipline, not dominance or image.Dating and relationships are examined through a values based lens. Skyler explains why attraction without alignment leads to confusion, and why shared beliefs matter more than chemistry. The episode also touches on how modern dating shows reflect cultural hunger for clarity while often skipping the deeper questions about identity, purpose, and accountability.Throughout the conversation, Skyler emphasizes that belief systems are not abstract ideas but foundations that shape decisions, relationships, and legacy. Whether discussing faith, love, or leadership, he returns to the idea that choosing what you stand on determines where your life goes. Each Earth Xperience has its own fingerprint. The X represents the lived experience being explored. In this episode, the X is the experience of a man navigating public curiosity after a dating show appearance while grounding his life in faith, responsibility, and intentional living.Questions to exploreWhat are people really looking for when they watch dating shows? How do belief systems shape dating choices? What does masculinity look like beyond social media narratives? Is love built on chemistry or shared values? What does it mean to stand for something in modern culture? How to connect with the guestSkylerInstagram and TikTok @iamsoworthy42

In this episode, I'm sharing a transparent update about the podcast: why I decided to rename it The Feminist Dating Show. I talk through the intention behind the previous name, what I heard from listeners over time, and why I want the podcast name to immediately feel inclusive and clear—especially for people who are new to this work. Feminist dating has always been the value system underneath everything I teach, and this new name reflects that, while still serving the amazing late bloomers and re-entry daters we serve. Nothing about the mission or the content is changing. This show is still for late bloomers, restarter daters, and anyone who's been taught it's too late or too much to find what they want. Let's do this!
Girl refuses to leave the show after repeatedly disrupting the show and guests.
Women of all races weigh in on relationships and gender roles.

Now that the season is out, they can finally spill all the tea — and this is the convo Colton was most nervous for… because when they sit down together, things get way too comfortable ;)We cover it all — their totally different journeys with love and sex, how Colton finally lost his virginity, and the guilt, confusion, and shame he carried while trying to convince himself he was straight. In this episode, we dive deep into Pizzagate, the viral conspiracy theory that took the internet by storm in 2016. What started as baseless speculation on social media quickly escalated into a full-blown moral panic—one that led to real-world consequences, including an armed man storming a Washington, D.C. pizza place. We'll break down how this theory spread, the role of misinformation, and what Pizzagate reveals about the power and dangers of internet culture.
