Our firm believes: Families should have the right at all times to be treated with dignity and respect by the media. Nearly every day, after a tragic incident that makes news, families are asked by reporters for an interview. Just Google "Sutherland Springs, Texas Church shooting" to find countless media reports where family members are being asked to comment with regards to this November 5, 2017 shooting. Sometimes these requests are just after they (the media) ambush family members at their front door, or see them entering their vehicle or have access to their phone number -- leaving countless messages to grant access for an interview. We believe that families have rights to be treated with dignity and respect at all times after an incident that propels them into the global media eye. Often, families dealing with grief or shock do not know that they can take a stand when it comes to the news media.
