What is one of the best ways to be filled with Relentless Hope, no matter what you face? Calling on God in every circumstance gives us His hope in so many ways. When you make a mistake, when you celebrate a victory, when a loved one is going through a difficult time; these are all the best time to call on God. Why is trusting the Lord so crucial to our spiritual well being? Because when we trust Him it shows that we believe in His ability and power! It also shows that we are secure in Him. As Christians, and the family of God, it's in our DNA to love one another. When we love, we live in our true destiny! Discussion Questions 1 Why is loving each other so important to God? Why is this, above all, the first trait of the family of God? 2 Does loving one another prove we are not of this world? Explain why. 3 What does “eschatology” mean? In what ways does loving each other prepare us for the end times/Jesus' return? 4 What are some different reasons that loving others points them to Jesus? 5 Will YOU commit to loving the family of God earnestly? (Hint: the answer should be “yes”)
As Christians, we need to fully understand the blessings and promises we inherit by being fellow heirs with each other AND with Christ! What are these blessings? How do we step into them? By believing what the Bible says about them! Discussion Questions 1. Have you ever viewed yourself as adopted? What positives/benefits that you can think of are involved with adoption? 2. "Fellow Heirs" inherently uses language that refers to family. What are some of the blessings we have access to now that we are heirs? Are any of these familial/communal? 3. What was the hostility that previously kept us from being sons of God and brothers with one another? What are some consequences of said hostility? (Jesus was so passionate about this, that He literally had to KILL it with its consequences!) 4. What things come to mind when thinking about the "full promise of Christ"? Do you live in it fully? Explain your answer.
We are the family of God! For this reason, how we treat each other is of the upmost importance. Listen as we study why family was important to Jesus, and why treating each other well is vital to Christian growth and maturity!
