This automatically means we have a lot of internalised biases and stigmas and can be very judge people. Emotional responsibility is a complex topic. Mainly because there is no blue print or one consistent way to go about it. It's all about reaching an equilibrium between emotional independence and emotional dependence. This week, I simplify emotional responsibility and talk about the benefits and problems of both being emotionally dependent and independent and how we can best navigate our interpersonal problems emotionally responsibly.

Dealing with a mentally ill partner can be very mentally challenging for you. The change in behaviour and dynamics can very easily ruin the relationships and even cause you mental instability. On this episode I give tips to help maintain and manage the situation to the best of your ability whilst making sure you remain healthy.
This week we are talking about social media and the role it plays in your mental crisis. for a lot of people social media plays a different role from entertainment to them. There is inspiration and positivity but there is also a lot of negativity, comparison and that can get pretty overwhelming and affect your mental space detrimentally. We go into the problems people often encounter on social media and how to manage the problems that come with being on social media.
Today we are talking about mental illness relapses. In a time like this, which is really stressful and mentally exhausting, I though it would be helpful to talk about the topic of how easily one can relapse after recovering from a mental illness. This relapse is in fact normal and very common and definitely not something to be ashamed of. Over the years of managing your mental illness sometimes you can develop new triggers or be re-triggered by a previous by the same thing. Often times people become completely dependent on their partner for happiness because they are helping them out of a mental health crisis. As we all know no one person can supply you all the happiness you need and the volatility of relationships make over dependency a recipe for disaster.

This week we're talking about comparison and how much of a negative effect it can have on your mental health. People intentionally and unintentionally make comparisons of people which sometimes stick and send them into depressive episodes. As part of our social contract we should all try to be mindful.
This week I get into how this all started for me, me realising I wasn't okay and the steps I took to feel better. More importantly realising it's okay not to be okay and finally being patient with myself. Not being okay is not uncommon, or negative. Give yourself time and watch yourself blossom again.
