Hi I’m Ben, I make up one part of the “Motley Cru” team. We’re a family on an amazing adventure, bringing a vineyard and passion to life in our own slightly unorthodox style here in Devon, England. Coming from no experience, this has been a steep learning curve for us all but a hell of an adventure! That’s what this podcast is all about, life as an adventure. Join me as I talk to an array of people with fascinating stories, amusing tales and advice on how to succeed. We’ll also keep up to date with the ongoing projects on the vineyard, there’s always a funny story to tell, whether it be escaping sheep, cheeky goats, cocktail disasters or pigs on vineyard tours to name a few. I hope you enjoy listening to these conversations as much as I did recording them!

Fuelled on a diet of cigarettes and a cheeky meal deal from the petrol station we have to ask how the hell he thought he could pull it off and just how daunting was it staring down the barrel of a 3.9km swim, 180 km bike ride and of course a casual marathon to finish it all off.
