As Brick and Mortar Business Owners we have a lot to manage, and many times our efforts are wasted because we are not setting ourselves up for future success. We need to be super intentional with what we are doing today in our business, creating the system as we are doing the action so we can duplicate it next time easily - without having to scramble to find the list of details we need to make it happen. There are three take action steps in the episode that I want you to do. 1. Look at your yearly calendar2. Decide what events you can duplicate yearly, monthly or weekly. 3. Create or improve the systems you already have - ideally by having your assistant making them better. With her passion, resilience and nose down, she created a business that has become "The Highlight of Your Week" for her tribe, her team and her community. In 2015 her life shattered when her husband of 15 years walked in the door and asked for divorce. They had 5 young children at the time ages 11 down to 2yrs. old. Little did she know at the time, that that one decision would create the foundation to build the life of her dreams. Along with running a successful brick and mortar business, Melissa is also a visibility coach for brick and mortar businesses, Melissa guides other boss ladies to a flourishing brick and mortar business that provides for their own tribe - creating a legacy for themselves, their family and their community. Personality-Driven Copy Is Copy That Converts! Communicate What Makes You Unique. Differentiate Yourself From Others In Your Area Of Expertise. The first step in creating copy that converts it so talk about what makes you weird. What makes you unique in a competitive space? It takes more to stand out today in the online world. Communicating who you are and the multi-faceted brand that you have created is important to connect with as many people in your audience as possible. People will connect with you on different levels so the more you share, the more opportunity you have to connect. People can't make connections and get to know you, like you, and trust you, if you don't share. We are often afraid to share or don't know what to share, but it is truly important to share so that our audience can get to know who we are and how we can help them. How Much Do We Share in Our Copy To Bring People In Instead of Put Them Off? It is good to talk about being anxious about something, maybe something most people don't feel anxious about. What was that moment and how did you feel? This can become an email or social media content. Highlight the way that is your superpower. Because of those factors, you can solve X and do Y for your audience. Lean into the aspects of yourself that you feel are weird because most likely those lead to your superpowers. Being an introvert won't repel extroverts. And intuition is key for helping others solve their problems. When talking about traveling and vacations, think about the message you are relaying. You want to inspire others to achieve something but not appear like you are bragging. Think about the feelings you are evoking from your audience so that they don't feel like they have a lack, but that they can achieve it too. It is important to highlight the good and the messes. The successes and the anxieties. Sharing both will help you connect with your entire audience. Your audience is more likely to grow if you share all sides of you and your business. Now that the GOP and Democrats have chosen their respective nominees in Jack Ciattarelli and Incumbent Governor Phil Murphy, the contrast is clear: Gregg Mele is the only candidate embracing liberty. That's especially true, as Gregg points out that the new GOP nominee Jack Ciattarelli is nothing more than "Murphy-Lite", touting progressive belief that barely differentiate him from his Democratic counterpart. What does Gregg see as the top issues needing addressed in New Jersey? And how does he plan to address those issues as a Libertarian governor? All that and more discussed as Gregg Mele returns to The Brian Nichols Show's Sunday Candidate Highlight Series! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

https://copperfield.church/missionaries-eyes-on-me/Over the past 12 years, the ministry Bobby “Tre9” Herring launched, Eyes On Me Inc, has grown into an organization that focuses on making reproducible disciples in some of the most poverty-stricken communities around the Greater Houston area. By establishing mission centers in these under-served communities with on-site missionaries, offering basic needs services and providing programs that teach local residents about Jesus Christ, Eyes On Me is able to help transform lives and fulfill its mission to mentor, disciple and serve at-risk youth and their families. Goals or objectives for the next 12 months. Financial support is used to fund these programs, community centers and church plants. Whether it is meeting benevolence needs in these communities, renting a local missions center for our missionaries to live, starting a new program to impact lives or taking hundreds of youth to summer camp, there is always a need for financial support. With the generosity of churches, individuals, businesses, and foundations, we have been able to establish our ministry in five neighborhoods where evangelism and discipleship is transforming the community.

The ladies of W.I.R.L. ventured over to downtown Glen Ellyn, Illinois for an afternoon of shopping and eating! Dining at A Toda Madre (tapas-style Mexican restaurant) was such a highlight. Victoria & Gabriella recommend their trio of guacamole (including one topped with fruit!) & trio of salsas. When you order tacos, they come 2 per order, so perfect for sharing & sampling! Gabriella's favorite is their ahi tuna tostada - she legit dreams about it. The gals stopped in at M&'Em's Boutique/Meredith Jayne which has clothing, home décor, and specialty gifts. Of course a stop at Good Roots was on the docket! This is a women-owned business W.I.R.L. has highlighted before and it's worth the trip to Glen Ellyn alone just to visit this moody, inspiring, welcoming storefront. Pick up a plant (& name it), a Turkish textile, or a uniquely scented candle. The Bookstore of Glen Ellyn was celebrating 'Small Town Bookstore Day' and the ladies each entered the contest. Tune in around 9:55 to see who won! Another store the ladies visited was Gather & Collect. Gather & Collect is a premier vintage and collectibles shop offering beautifully re-purposed furnishings, gifts, novelties, and more. So many unique finds inside this store - you could spend a day alone looking at everything! You are sure to find something for yourself or someone special in your life here. Victoria chatted with the owner, Julie, for quite some time which only added to a wonderful shopping experience here.Obviously this is just a sampling of what downtown Glen Ellyn offers. Take a day trip in from the city or drive on over and let W.I.R.L. know what your experience is like!
