Your work matters. Most of us will spend 90,000 hours of our lives working at our jobs – and this doesn't even include the unpaid work of raising kids, taking care of loved ones, volunteering, and keeping our lives ordered. If we spend so much of our lives working, shouldn't we understand what God has to say about it? In this message, Pastor David looks at Genesis 1-2 where God is introduced as the original "worker". He created us in His image and commissioned us to be fruitful, subdue the earth, and have dominion over it. It's a mistake to categorize our work as either "sacred" or "secular" – all work can glorify God and connect us to His purpose in this world.
