Faith is not built in isolation. It is shaped by the people, stories, and moments that come before us, and it is meant to be passed forward. Every time God shows up in your life, every testimony you hear, and every story of Scripture you receive is a deposit into what can be called a bank of testimonies. When hard times come, you can draw from that bank and remind yourself that God has been faithful before. Since the beginning, humanity has faced a fundamental choice between two ways of living: one sourced in God and one sourced in self. The Tree of Life represents a life of grace, faith, and dependence on God, while the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil represents self-reliance and the belief that we must earn what only God can freely give. Many of us carry false beliefs about ourselves that don't align with how God sees us, keeping us trapped in cycles of shame and fear. We have built NCC to make disciples. Disciples that will go to all the world and make more disciples. D.L. Moody says "It is better to train ten people to do the work of the ministry, than for you to do the work of ten people in ministry." But it is harder. It may be harder to do it the way the Lord has called us to do it but this is the way we are going. We will disciple you and others coming in as far as you are willing to go. Do you want to go?

Why Do We Disciple? So that we can prophesy by the Spirit and the breath of God will cause us to live. So we can come into unity, and walk in a manner worthy of our calling.
