As Passover approached, Jesus was preparing to be the true Passover Lamb, giving His life to save us. The woman's worship was a response to His worth, not a performance. We discover that God cares about the heart. God wants us to love Him, value Him, and esteem Him above all things. When we serve the Lord out of sincere hearts, wanting to please Him, and wanting to give Him the glory, he rewards us only a loving Heavenly Father can.Main Points:1. A motive is something that causes a person to act. It could be a need or desire to do something for a reason. This recording is reminding you to examine your motives. Examine your motives to make sure you're not showing off when you do your deeds, only to be admired by others. Otherwise, you will lose the reward of your heavenly Father.

Motions, Motives, and Markel: Donna Adelson's Legal Moves Donna Adelson's legal team is back in action, firing off another motion to keep certain evidence out of her trial. This time, they're aiming to block the divorce records of her daughter, Wendi Adelson, and her slain former son-in-law, Dan Markel. According to Donna's attorneys, these documents—stacked over 560 pages deep—have absolutely nothing to do with her or any alleged involvement in a conspiracy to murder Markel. Now, let's be clear—Dan Markel and Wendi Adelson's divorce wasn't just some routine paperwork shuffle. Markel filed for divorce in September of 2012. Things got tense when Wendi moved their children while Markel was out of town, a move that later backfired when her legal attempts to permanently relocate them were denied. About a year later, the divorce was finalized, but custody issues continued to simmer beneath the surface. Donna's legal team is trying to paint this as a standard divorce between two well-educated professionals—no major custody battles, no claims of abuse, just a clean break. But prosecutors see it differently. They argue the divorce set the stage for something much darker. The state has leaned on this divorce to establish a motive, framing it as a bitter battle over the children that may have fueled the murder plot. Paul shares about worshipping God in a way that builds up the church.

Truth should mark our lives and lips as Christians. We are called to know the truth, be grounded upon the truth, and proclaim the truth. Yet, truth without love is not true truth, just as love without truth is not true love. In Ephesians 4:15, Paul declares that truth is to find its permanent residence in love—and as Christians, our lives and lips must have an accuracy of both truth and love. In short, the motives and manner is just as important as the message.
