This episode features Chris Bower of Eda Rhyne Distilling Company. Chris had been looking into doing a distillery for a number of years. He had been working on some home made projects. One day a mutual friend Rett Murphy came to Chris and shared that he's been looking to create a distillery. Rett has been a farmer for 15 plus years and wanted to stay in agriculture but with something more towards providing the fruits of his labor. The conversation turned towards making Fernet and the relationship was sealed. Chris has a family history about learning about plants and botanicals. The distillery launched in 2017 with the Appalachian Fernet and laying down barrels or Rare Grain Rye Whiskey. Why Do We Disciple? So that we can prophesy by the Spirit and the breath of God will cause us to live. So we can come into unity, and walk in a manner worthy of our calling.

Pastor Chris speaks on the grand entrance of the Holy Spirit. Through the Word, we can see that it was better that Jesus left the earth because it made room for God to no longer live among us, but dwell in us.

Pastor Chris challenges us to move the fence. He challenges us to go the extra mile and even pray for our enemies.

Pastor Chris brings the Word and tells us why we cannot remain silent. "You are saved, called out of darkness, transformed into a people for His own possession SO you can tell out, declare abroad, to make known by praising or proclaiming the greatness of God. Our friendship with God will not allow us to be silent."

Fresh off of her second state championship in wrestling, Middletown's Kalin Bower and her father, Chris, are the guest's this week on The Final Score podcast.
