Life has a way of pulling us in different directions — errands, family needs, health concerns, and work responsibilities. In this episode, I invites you to step back, reflect, and focus on what truly matters each day. By setting clear priorities, you can bring peace and clarity into your daily routine while still leaving space for the unexpected joys of life. We often juggle too many obligations, from caring for loved ones to managing a household, all while trying to keep pace with modern demands. I shares practical ways to regain control of your time: identifying three must-do tasks each day, using simple tools to stay organized, and making space for faith, friendships, and rest. Plus I also reminds us that creating welcoming environments, letting go of excess belongings, and setting healthy boundaries all play a role in keeping our minds and hearts clear. What You'll Learn in This Episode: How setting just three top priorities each day can create focus and calm Why blocking tasks together saves time and reduces stress Ways to use visual reminders and simple lists to stay organized The joy of spontaneous connections with friends and loved ones The importance of faith, prayer, and quiet time in daily life Ideas for letting go of extra possessions and sharing them with others How defining categories like family, health, work, and leisure helps bring balance Take a moment to consider: What one priority matters most to you today? Writing it down may be the first step toward peace of mind.

When young South Sudanese have guns, which they do, and are raiding other people's cattle and produce for their livelihood, which they are, how do you get them to lay down their guns? The answer is an alternative form of income, another livelihood. And the path to income is cooperatives according to the UN's Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).Cooperatives, economic organizations in which work and risk are shared by members, are forming in more and more corners of South Sudan. They are an acknowledgement that it is easier to surmount livelihood challenges, specifically food insecurity and climate crises, together as a community as opposed to alone as individuals. But they may be more than just a path towards economic empowerment, they may also bring peace and security to the world's youngest nation. Ahead of the International Day of Cooperatives, which is marked annually on 5 July, UN News' Naima Sawaya sat down with FAO's Louis Bagare, who's based in South Sudan, and began by asking him to explain what role cooperatives play there.

You set boundaries hoping for peace… but instead, it got messy
You ever been around someone and you feel like you're holding your breath the whole time? Like you're walking on emotional Legos?Yeah. That ain't peace.Peace in relationships is more than the absence of drama — it's presence. It's knowing you can exhale, be soft, be still, and still be seen.As the old saying goes: “If it costs you your peace, it's too expensive.” But today, let's flip it:If it feeds your peace, it's priceless.Peace doesn't mean boring. It means consistent, honest, and safe.Safe to express. Safe to grow. Safe to mess up and still be met with love, not lectures. That kind of peace? Whew — it changes everything.

Now he's calling on the United States and Europe to provide forces for back-up.Migrants fleeing Ecuador point to the chronic violence but also rising unemployment as reasons for leaving. [00:30] Does Donald Trump Know the Way to Peace? (44 minutes) President Donald Trump has made some very positive changes to domestic policy in the United States, but he has a deadly weakness in peace negotiations and international diplomacy. Headlines from around the world openly discuss a “nuclear wave” and support an international arms race that is supposed to somehow guarantee peace. Despite world leaders' avowed belief that world peace is possible, Bible prophecy shows that these last days are “perilous times.” [44:00] Prodigal Son (11 minutes) The parable of the prodigal son teaches many important lessons about repentance.
[00:30] Germany Is Rearming—While Leaders Cheer for ‘Peace' (55 minutes) President Donald Trump has a serious blind spot when it comes to German militarization. The U.S. has initiated trade war with many of its supposed “allies” in an attempt to correct unfair trade practices, but Europeans believe President Trump is the sole cause of the trade war and the imminent breakup of NATO. God's perspective provided by Bible prophecy is critical in this time of international upheaval.
