In this week's message, Pastor Roger looks at two parables of Jesus from Luke 18 where Jesus tells us about being persistent in prayer without losing heart. Prayer takes faith and we should come to God like children, full of dependency, innocence, humility, wonder, and yes, questions! Our faithful Father is faithful to meet us where we are. -Featuring Roger Hirth
Continuing the Parables of Jesus series, join us as Pastor Roger discusses prayer in the message: A Friend At Midnight.
Pastor Roger was expecting a package at his office. Pretty normal day... until he got a notification saying it had been delivered 70 miles away. That's not just a wrong address – that's a whole road trip. After calling the family who received it, he decided to just drive over and get it himself. When he arrived, he met a little boy named Jonathan. Nine years old, battling stage four brain cancer, in a wheelchair and nonverbal. The package mix-up had happened because his delivery got mixed in with Jonathan's medical supplies. But the longer Pastor Roger talked with the family, the more he realized: maybe this wasn't a mistake.

Três características serão trabalhadas aqui a partir do primeiro versículo deste livro: íntegro e reto, temente a Deus e se desvia do mal. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In this week's message, Pastor Roger unpacks Luke 3 by comparing the baptism of John, one of water baptism for the forgiveness of sins, to that of Jesus, who baptizes with the Holy Spirit and fire. Jesus was obedient to the Father, identifies with sinful man, while himself remaining perfectly righteous without sin. This makes him alone qualified as the atoning sacrifice for our sins. -Featuring Roger Hirth

What a beautiful day in the house! Pastor Roger kicked off our brand new series. In this week's message we were reminded that our prayers do not have a shelf life. We have an end date…but our prayers risen up to heaven don't have an expiration date! Sometimes there are delayed answers because God's timing isn't ours. Sometimes we need to persevere - because it's good exercise for our faith! But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.” Luke 1:13 -Featuring Roger Hirth

This sermon exposes how fear often drives our political loyalties, asking if we're willing to let Christ, not fear, lead our lives. Jesus' response to political traps reveals a different kind of kingdom—one where sacrificial love and faith replace anxiety and division. In a world gripped by fear, we're invited to find true peace and courage under the eternal rule of our King.
Join us as we gear up for our annual giving campaign. This is a time to celebrate all God has done through the generosity of faithful members of Generation Church and get excited for what He is doing through 2025. In this sermon, Pastor Roger explores the expectation that we steward properly what Christ has entrusted to us, namely, to be salt and light in the world. -Featuring Roger Hirth
This week, Pastor Roger talks about how our lifestyle sends out an invitation for either Faith or Fear to respond.
Rethinking the great commission. In a culture promising self-renewal and endless autonomy, and supposed happiness. the Great Commission of Matthew 28 cuts through the noise with a disruptive call: “Go.” Are we willing to move beyond cultural illusions and join God in His mission to renew all things, and give the world a better narrative we all desperately need?
In a culture obsessed with self-optimization and comfort, the Holy Spirit calls us to something radically different—sacrificial mission. The Spirit's work isn't about making you feel good; it's about empowering you to live a life that looks more like Jesus, full of risk, discomfort, and love for the outsider, and brings radical renewal! Are you ready for that kind of life?
