Looking Back - And Looking Forward? In the midst of all the quarantine chaos Podcast Detected turned 6 Years Old!! And we totally missed it! In this Episode of Podcast Detected, Lizz talks about the early days of Podcast Detected, recalls a few of her favourite memories, and... LOOKS FOR A REPLACEMENT! Yes, that’s right, after the last few months have clearly shown that the current team does not have the time or energy to keep going, it might be time a for a radical change. Podcast Detected is looking for a new team (or people who are not yet a team but will eventually become one... just like in your favourite Found Family fanfics!) to give the podcast new life, new energy and new love! Previous podcasting experience is nice - love and dedication and the right spirit is much nicer though. So if you (and your friends) think you’d like to be the ... new people in the comm shack (or whatever name you give yourselves), get in touch! Creative freedom, help from the old team, and the support from a very dedicated fanbase and fandom assured! The best way to get in touch with Lizz is via tumblr (@podcastdetected or @collected-sports-bra) or, if you don't have tumblr, via e-mail at "miss.artemis@gmx.net" to get more information. Hey Fellow Fives, a quick update about the podcast! And don't worry, we will be back with regular episodes soon ;) Music, as always, Ridge Groove, by Jason Kessler
We are back from our break, with a special treat! This week, Elisabeth is walking a lonely road, taking a very close look at Panoply's new podcast - based on a not so new app: Six to Start's The Walk. And yes we know we did a review of The Walk before, but this time it's all about figuring out how well the story makes it through the transition into a podcast. So a special Podcast Detected / Podcasts Collected Presents cross over it is! Enjoy, Fellow Fives! Music: Ridge Groove by Jason Kessler, as well as As I Was Saying by Lee Rosevere; additional music also by Lee Rosevere Find Podcasts Collected Presents at podcasts-collected.tumblr.com
Lindley and Lizz battle zombies, technical difficulties, and throw low key shade at Austria's very own Little Sebastian. Also, they discuss The Walking Dead! We are super sorry about the crappy audio in parts of this episode. We were struggling a lot with the equipment that didn’t work the way it was supposed to. We also unfortunately had to cut some very interesting points in our discussion about diversity, like the problematic trope of killing off gay and lesbian characters. But my abilities as an editor are limited :( Join us in our Facebook Group "Podcast Detected Detected - A Zombies, Run! Fan Podcast Fan Group" to chat with us ;)
The long-overdue episode in which Erin and Paulette gush about Veronica McShell, one of ZR's most complex characters. This episode contains spoilers from Season 3 on. Skip ahead to minute 35:20 for a special surprise that is not spoilery (except for minute 43:15 when there is aone tiny and very vague pseudo-spoiler for seasons 5-6) A huge and special THANK YOU to the amazing and wonderful Aislinn De'Ath for her assistance with this episode :) PS: The Louis Vuitton ad referenced late in the episode can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYemsmlKBHg
The special episode where Lindley, Richard, and Lizz try out a zombie themed board game, and Minerva helps by sleeping :) Find the "Zombies!!!" game here: http://www.twilightcreationsinc.com/en/boardgames/zombies.html Music: Ridge Groove by Jason Kessler
In our second instalment of "Podcast Detected Presents: Zombology" Christopher and Lizz try to figure out the best vehicle to use in a zombie apocalypse, discuss plumbing (or fail to), and talk about fuel. Also, the most difficult thing about an apocalypse might not be what you think it is ... Music: "Zombie" by Black Flamingo
This is the episode where Paulette, Tamara and Danielle discuss how creepy CCTV is, what would happen if zombies run was set outside the UK, and how british culture is basically Mary Berry chased by zombies inside a huge phone booth while big brother speaks with a Hugh Grant accent. Trust me you will enjoy this.
In our first instalment of "Podcast Detected Presents: Zombology" Christopher and Lizz compare how weird their hobbies are, discuss the term "Zombology", and talk about all things zombie lore. Music: "Zombie" by Black Flamingo
A very special episode of Podcast Detected, in which Lizz finally presents the trailer to the new "Zombology" bonus episodes! Also, she uses a word that she promises to never ever use again ;) Music: "Ridge Groove" by Jason Kessler, and "Zombie" by Black Flamingo
The episode in which the grownups decided to let the newbies take the comm shack! Erin and Paulette dish about Nadia al Hanacki. This episode is full of spoilers up through season 5, but we break it down by season and warn you when we're about to move on so you can turn us off when we get ahead of you...unless like Erin, you live for spoilers and can't wait for Paulette to tell you everything that happens to the comms operator we have such a complicated relationship with."

It this part, Devin is shocked that Lizz has never seen a gun up close, they discuss diversity, female characters and the amazing zombie lore, answer the big question if they would recommend We're Alive to Zombies, Run! fans, name their favourite and least favourite aspects of the story - and in the end, it's all about Sam Yao again... SPOILERS: for We're Alive (S1+S2), but they are very vague
The Episode where Devin and Lizz talk about Audio Drama We're Alive (Season 1 + 2), Devin would risk all our lives for a dog, Lizz knows nothing about organized crime and even less about the American military, and they both ask the important questions, like: How are these people even still alive? SPOILERS: for We're Alive (S1+S2), but they are very vague INTRO: by runningalchemist
The episode with a live audience (of one person), where Lizz knows nothing about american sweets, Lindley talks about The Office, both of them gush about the amazing Maxine and talk about RPGs. Also, if you pay very close attention you can hear our audience (of one person) in the background ;) SPOILERS are announced in the episode. INTRO by Richard.
The episode where Devin and Ana talk about bald eagles, freedom, and the American dream. (And, you know, the American apocalypse.)
The episode in which Liz and Devin try not to spoil McShell family drama, Liz has a birthday, we gush about ROFLnet, and generally get overly emotional about characters that were in three episodes total.
