Language is flawed, and it keeps us from touching the divine.Every time we try to communicate, we start with a felt sense (thoughts, emotions, sensations) and we're forced to translate that into code. Words. Sounds. Symbols. Then we hope the signal survives the noise. That nothing gets lost through misunderstanding, projection, or the limits of whatever medium we're using.And on the other side, the listener has to decode it all back into their own thoughts, emotions, and sensations.Which means we never really say exactly what we mean. We only ever say what someone else is able to hear.All knowledge, scientific, religious, spiritual, personal, is filtered through this imperfect system. Our minds shape it, distort it, give it meaning it never had. Even the texts we call sacred are interpreted through an imperfect interpreter.So the only real move is to step back from the words and feel what's underneath. The raw experience. The connection between things. The truth before we try to pin it down.Every theory is just a model. A map. Never the thing itself. And the human condition is the same across traditions: infinite desire, finite resources, suffering, loss, growth, and everything we do to navigate the in-between.The moment we set a theory in stone, it stops being alive. It becomes dogma. But if you call yourself a Jew and rely on the law and boast in God 18 and know his will and approve what is excellent, because you are instructed from the law; 19 and if you are sure that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness, 20 an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of children, having in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth— 21 you then who teach others, do you not teach yourself? While you preach against stealing, do you steal? 22 You who say that one must not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? Dr. Lane Tipton speaks at the Reformed Forum Annual Theology Conference, held at Lakeland Church in Gurnee, Illinois on September 27, 2025. Dr. Tipton presents Jesus Christ as the "mountain ascending mediator" and the promised seed of the woman from Genesis 3:15. Dr. Tipton argues that God's plan for redemption is framed by the concept of a holy mountain dwelling, beginning with heaven itself and its earthly counterpart, the Garden of Eden. After Adam's fall and subsequent exile from the holy mountain, God announced the first promise of the gospel—that the seed of the woman would crush the serpent's head. This salvific ascent was foreshadowed throughout the Old Testament on key mountains (Ararat, Sinai, Moriah, and Zion), all pointing to the final ascent of Christ. Through his sacrifice, Christ successfully ascended to the heavenly mountain, providing covering for sin, overcoming the devil, and bringing his people to see God in perfected worship and everlasting beatitude. In this PT-2 follow up episode to a September 29, 2025, we will objectively explore the details of the Snake Eyes movie and its relationship to the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Despite there being seemingly incredible parallels, many of the important correlations have been ignored in favor of assumed connections like the 9/10 date of the assassination, which was actually 9/19 in the movie, or the 911 in an Erika Kirk music video that was cropped to ignore other numbers. The film features a Charles Kirkland being shot in the neck, taken to the hospital, and later dying during a public event. A strange character is pumping his fist and chanting in front of the camera, a character named Tyler is involved in the conspiracy, and the iconic motifs of the ‘woman in red' and ‘woman in white' are present. There is also the all-seeing eye and lucky number 7. But beyond the real life parallels and other occult imagery, the movie involves a hurricane named Jezebel, which strangely connects to the real Charlie Kirk. Why? [NOT REAL NAMES]I was in the parking lot of the Catholic church near my home that I used to attend up until I was in high school. I saw Jeff from my high school and said hello to him and then pointed to my son who was walking down the street, and I said to Jeff, “Kids can walk – and don't need to be driven everywhere by their parents.” Both Jeff and I laughed.The church is right next to a big pond and I looked out at the pond and saw how breathtakingly beautiful the view of the pond was, with the bright sun in the clear blue sky – just like it was when I was a child.I walked down the grassy incline to the edge of the pond and noticed something lying in the water, so near to the edge that I could see it very clearly. It looked like 2 dead bodies, one adult and one child, wearing very brightly colored clothes lying very still in the shallow water. At first, I thought it must have been an illusion.Just then, I saw another guy from my hometown, who is a close friend of my younger brother, walking along the edge of the pond with his wife and child. I said, “Hi Tom” – but he didn't react at all and just kept walking towards me. He continued walking towards me and when he was right near me, I called his name again. He still didn't react at all and just walked by me with a blank look on his face. Just after he passed me by I told him my name, and then he turned back around and said hello to me – and then we started talking.Then I started talking off my socks and shoes to get in the water, and he asked me why I'm doing that as it was cold outside – too cold of a day to go in the water. I pointed to the 2 bodies lying under the water and told Tom that I wanted to confirm if they are real.There was a kid's plastic pail and shovel on the ground, and I picked up the little shovel and waded into the water up to my knees. I looked down into the water and now could only see the child's body lying on the ground under the shallow water. I reached down and held the child's little hand, and as I tried to lift her hand I could see that her arm was buried under the sand. I started digging with the little plastic shovel but couldn't extricate her arm because she was wearing a sweater that was stuck/buried in the sand.I realized that I couldn't pick up the child's body and place it on the shore by myself, so I turned back to Tom, who was still standing there by the side of the pond, and asked him to call 911 to get some help.
