Lyle and Erik Menendez killed their parents on August 20th 1989. While the fact that they committed the crime isn't up for debate, apparently the reason as to why is. This episode explores the shocking crime and the motive behind it, as well as proof and speculation. We uncover the story, told partly in Netflix's "Monsters- The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story and why the show is so controversial. This was by far the hardest story for me to cover on an episode. I would urge you not to listen if you are sensitive to child sexual abuse, torture, rape and incest.

More than 20 years after his conviction, Scott Peterson decided to break his silence about the murder of his wife, Laci Peterson and their unborn son. I have been interested in this case for a while, so naturally I watched his recently released docuseries on Peacock called "Face to Face with Scott Peterson", as well as the Netflix documentary, "American Murder: Laci Peterson" which has viewers in shock all over the nation. It's the most controversial and most talked about murder trial to come out of Massachusetts in the last 20 years: the murder of officer John O'Keefe from Boston. Brutally killed and left for dead in a blizzard, his killer remains to be found, unless you suspect his girlfriend Karen Read who is currently on trial for the crime.
