There is no neutrality towards Jesus. Christ does not accept anyone who is not for Him. Passitive ego-centered sophisticated "objectivity" takes souls to Hell. We can't come to Christ with our intelligence, it requires the Spirit of God. If you stay away from church for 3 Sundays in a row, you are backslidden. Backsliders are deadly. We should love people by caring enough for them that we want to see them be saved, and treat them accordingly. We may not like certain people, but we are the same to Jesus. Unforgiveness and bitterness kills. We should love people who nag us, too. No tyranny. Account of Adolph Hitler.

Jesus didn't criticize the desire for rank in Heaven and He didn't say there is none. The humility of helplessness - total dependence. Give all glory to God, unadulterated with self-righteousness. Use of the small talents mean as much as the colossal talents we all dream of having. Produce fruit instead of leaves. Little daily deeds of mercy are what Jesus is looking for.

Repentence is not just being sorry. Repentence includes faith. Failure to truly repent is the same as telling God we don't want to be saved. The Holy Spirit brings faith through baptism. Infant baptism. What happens when an unbaptized child dies. Original sin damns.

We are all scum - even the respectable. No difference in God's eyes - all are sinners. Different symptoms but the same disease. Jesus never went light on sin, but was able to love the sinner. Capital punishment. Church is a hospital. It is no longer a social status to be in a church. Jesus came for both the respectable and not. Jesus went slumming for scum like us. Some respectable people think they don't need Jesus. Account of respectable man who was sick.
The authority of Jesus. His death and resurrection is the ultimate sign. Christianity came out of Heaven.
The murder of the Son of God is the biggest surprise of human history. Jesus predicted his murder. Political messiah. The depth of sin. The temple was destroyed and the Church became Gentile, as Jesus foretold. The Jews were not predestined to murder Jesus.
There is no ligitimate reason for rejecting Jesus. Pseudo-intellectuals. Hypocrites who follow Jesus. Unbelief is utterly inexcusible. Hell and judgement.
