The gospel is the Good News of God: the declaration that His power has broken into human history through Jesus and is making all things new. It's not something that we choose to believe once and then never have to think about again. It's something we keep believing so that God can keep renewing us. Join Alpine Chapel for a special message called, "Stay in the Gospel" and listen as Lead Pastor Dave Mudd shares about the importance of the gospel in every season and how we can keep reminding ourselves of God's Good News.

On the eve of Mt. Rock's 125th Anniversary we take time to reflect on the history of God's provision through the years. It seems only two things have been constant in the life of Mt. Rock Brethren in Christ congregation - change and the message of Good News. The congregation has seen many changes over its 125+ years. Changes in buildings, ministries, leaders, giving, music, culture, and so on. However, the message of God's Good News for us in Christ Jesus never changes! Journey with us through the history of Mt. Rock Brethren in Christ, and consider God's plan for us today as we peer into the next steps of our journey through the words of Hebrews 12.

In the third week of the "Quit Church" series, Pastor Will Lapian, in his debut sermon, speaks about the importance of outreach & inclusion of new people if you really want to see God's kingdom grow. Jesus doesn't have a quota, in fact, in the bible it says it's God's will that none should perish, so the more on-mission we are as believers, the faster & farther God's Good News will spread.

Faith in God's Good News // Romans 4.1-25 by Northlake Christian Church
The Gospel is God's Good News. In an age of manipulative news, filtered images and targeted messages, God's Good News hasn't changed. It hasn't changed, in fact, for 2,000 years. Pastor John unpacks Galatians 1:10-2:10 to show us the Gospel is Good News of God's GRACE, the Gospel is God's TRUTH, and the Gospel is God's one message for ALL PEOPLE. The Angel's journey and proclamation gives us a peek into God's Good News of Great Joy revealed at the birth of Jesus. We are offered God's perfect peace, and favor, but will we embrace them and receive these wonderful gifts offered to us? What will it look like as we walk in His peace and receive His favor?

Many Christians lack confidence in their ability to speak positively and biblically on matters around gender fluidity and same-sex attraction. In a culture increasingly hostile to the Bible’s teaching in these areas, it’s important we can respond both with truth and kindness to people in these circumstances. Christian silence simply allows the media to dictate societal attitudes and misses opportunities to share the Bible’s good news with the marginalised.
This Sunday we’re in Genesis chapter 3 – the Fall. The world looks upon this as a fable. To us who believe it, and know it to be true, it is history. And it’s foundational to our faith and to our world view. The doctrine of Sin and the atomic fall-out of the Fall is critical to our understanding of life in this world. More than that, it is critical to an understanding of our own hearts and any hope we have for a solution. As much as we like to talk about forgiveness, we can’t really understand forgiveness without understanding transgression. Nor can we experience forgiveness without acknowledging our sin. So, this is history but not only history. This is our history, and we need to personally own it as our own before there can be any hope of forgiveness and restoration.

Title: God's good news for all Speaker: Daf Meirion-Jones Passage: Romans 1:1-7 Series: Good News for the Whole World Recording Date: 09.09.2018 AM
In this 42nd episode Joshua and Kerrie talk about the fear and untruth about Friday the thirteenth as well as the "more" of God. At the end of the day, the good news of God is at the opposite end of the spectrum of life. Fear tells the story about about our state of being and how we choose to live. There are those that struggle leaving the reality of untruth. It's a choice to move out of the darkness into the light of truth. Leaving fear positions us to live the best life. This is Good News. *At the end of the day, the truth of the Good News is the power of God at work. Enjoy this day--God made it--and has more for you! Stop by Studio 365 anytime to listen and take the conversation to your table --a piece of tablethink's mission (tablethinkpowers Studio 365). Talk to you tomorrow in Studio 365. *So I am eager to come to you in Rome, too, to preach God's Good News. 16 For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes-- Jews first and also Gentiles. (Romans 1:15-16, NLT). More Series: More. Prayer goes beyond our own experience and perspective to see what God sees within us, around us, and ahead of us . . . to see more.

In our worship this past weekend, we saw the importance of Christian community. We weren’t made to be alone. We weren’t made to grow in faith in isolation. Not only is it impossible to find one example in Scripture, but consider how the gospel works. God brought the good news into our hearts and lives to gather us together as a Christian community. He joined us with brothers and sisters locally, which we can see, and with all believers of all time in ways that we can’t see. He gathers us through his gospel, and he keeps us together by it too. It’s more than just our presence that encourages us, although it certainly does. It’s the gospel encouragement that we share which keeps us firm in the faith. Guest preacher, Pastor Ben Zahn, from Myrtle Beach, SC, helps us explore that very profound truth.
God’s got good news for you. What you make of your life isn’t first and foremost about you; it’s about him. He has done all you need to make your life is fruitful and fulfilled. All you need to do is to respond this good news with all your heart. In this message, Jesus explains to us how to do so.

Faith in Christ rights all wrongs. Infant baptism plants faith and cleanses original sin. God HAS to forgive those who have faith in Jesus. No doubt of salvation. Heathen don't even live right by the god they do know (evident in nature). No depth of depravity is beyond righting by faith in Jesus. Fear of tomorrow.
We're excited for the mission God has us on as a church and tonight we're examining a bit more of what our calling is as a church to bring the hope of Jesus to the heart of our city and inviting people into a life-giving and life-changing relationship with Jesus. We are the benefactors of God's Good News! And we have a choice to make: do we stockpile or share?
David Rowe continues our series on God's Good News by preaching from Mark's Gospel.
The sermon was delivered on Sunday, December 28, 2014, at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, by Rev. Tamara Lebak, Adjunct Minister. SERMON DESCRIPTION John Howard Yoder writes, "If we are ever to rescue God's Good News from all the justifiable but secondary meanings it has taken on, perhaps the best way to do it is to say that the root meaning of the term evagelion would today best be translated as "revolution.'" A revolution is a dramatic and wide-reaching change in the way something works, is organized or in our ideas about it. It is also a single orbit of one object around an axis or center. As we prepare to enter a new revolution around the sun, let us consider what parts of our own lives call for revolution? What is the axis on which we make our decisions? What parts of our lives are not connected to center that may be unnecessarily adding to the load we bear? How do we reconcile our commitments with a new revelation? Martin Luther King wrote, “[W]e are experiencing today one of the greatest revolutions that the world has ever known. Every segment of society is being swept into its mainstream. The great challenge facing [us now] is to remain awake, alert and creative....” SUBSCRIBE TO AUDIO PODCAST: VIEW ON YOUTUBE: SUBSCRIBE TO WATCH OTHER VIDEOS: GIVE A DONATION TO HELP US SPREAD THIS LOVE BEYOND BELIEF: LET'S CONNECT: Facebook: Twitter: All Souls Church Website:

"These Three Remain…" - A Celebration of Hope Many surveys conducted among young people around the world indicate they are deficient when it comes to Hope; they don't see a lot of hope for the future and they aren't confident about their prospects for long-term happiness. In light of this, the Christian Church has its workd cut out in helping people to discuss the Hope which is so central to God's Good News in Jesus.
