The brothers are back after a month long hiatus, just in time for King Charles' coronation and a duo of op-eds from the Commonwealth. Also our dad died and it was deeply traumatic. Buckle up!

The Brothers are back (a bit later than we'd have liked, but you'll get what you're given) for the 20th anniversary of the invasion of Iraq. Pundits abound with incredible takes ranging from "We were right to be wrong!" to "YOLO!" This is a legit triggering episode for the Brothers, who came of age in Bush America, but they stuff those feelings into a ball deep in their bellies so that YOU, Dear Listener, have some more slop for your trough. Listener, some of these articles are fun, and some are just plain bummers. Sure, we have a laugh here and there making fun of the author's absolutely dogshit prose and remarking on God seeing fit to equip Ian with an absolutely knock-out pair of DSLs, but it's hard to hide the genuine, seething anger the Brother's feel reading the latest piece about why transphobic billionaires are the real victims. The brothers are back for another episode and this time their recording issues are fixed, but the issue of Thomas Friedman remains. Folks, we have to pick and choose our battles here. Beyond diving into the beautiful mind of one of the NYT's most famous and prolific brains, we also get a peak into the rare genius of the Silicon Valley tech billionaire and their uncanny leadership. Truly, this episode is a journey.

New year, new format. The brothers have left The Johns behind them and adopted a new Podcast name as they venture into the new, more Freudianly-murky waters of conservative opinion columns. To kick off the new pod, we're diving into the exciting world of the class politics of air travel and whether or not Dennis Prager's wife will fuck him. What a time to be alive!

The brothers move further and further away from their stated goal of listening to Pod Save America and telling you why it's bad, but more closer and closer to confronting and reckoning with their own demons hiding behind the thing veneer of snark and - modestly - perfect comedic timing. We get an update on things like Jonathan's leaky dick and Ian's inability to feel happiness, and Trump makes a good joke. Somehow all of this takes like 57 minutes. You're welcome, America.

Buckle up listeners, because we've coming off the heels of a two month hiatus during which time Ian nearly had a mental breakdown and Jonathan continued doing whatever it is he does. Ian's theory that whenever The Johns want to phone it in, they play a game on one of their episodes appears to hold water as - once again - The Johns play a game and phone in their episode. To be honest, there's not a lot for The Brothers to talk about, so they fall back into their old standby of complaining about all the myriad ways their parents have screwed them up. That being said, this Monday episode ("Mag-a-Lago") still covered some dumb politics stuff, so the Brothers felt compelled to comment on Trump's latest Mar-a-Lago speech, Biden's thoughts on protesting police brutality, Biden's new Supreme Court-packing commission, and how much Lovitt loves him some Aaron Sorkin. The Brothers also dish about Ian's proclivity for fainting (because of his delicate disposition), which of The Brothers is handier (Jonathan), which is more screwed up (also probably Jonathan but kind of a tossup TBH), and about a new Youtube channel that Ian got turned onto by - who we hope - is NOT a Nazi. After the tire fire of last week, the Brothers actually sit down and properly review an episode of Pod Save America ("March Badness"). Alas, The Johns phone this one in as well, talking about how lame the press is when they ask Biden questions, and how sticky of a wicket the whole kids in cages thing is, all while conveniently ignoring the ongoing union busting efforts over at Amazon being spearheaded by their former boss, Jay Carney. Other than politics and whatever, The Brothers spend an unsettling amount of time talking about their dad's penis, and how deeply and inexplicably disturbing Congressman Matt Gaetz's face is. After a month's hiatus, the Brother's are back, and this time they're reviewing a Monday episode ("Bienvenidos a Orlando"). The Johns have a lot to say about the Biden admin's decision to respect the Senate Parliamentarian and not allow a vote on the $15 minimum wage through reconciliation, and I gotta say, the Brothers were proud of them. Don't get us wrong, there's still plenty to criticize, but at least our big wet president makes his triumphant return at CPAC to name names as only he can do. Ian also goes out of his way to embarrass Jonathan for a name flub that got left on the cutting room floor, and the Brothers chat about bisexual lighting, what video games they'd like to play, and how quietly and accidentally and horrifyingly racist their parents are. ALSO, Dr Sebastian Gorka makes a guest appearance.

The Brothers review another Thursday episode this week ("Party of Q"), but agree it's kind of a snoozer. The Johns ignore cool stuff like Gamestop Stocks and not cool stuff like kids still being in cages in favor of stuff like ending the filibuster and the Dems' grim 2022 chances, which is honestly kind of refreshing hearing them have an opinion about the Democratic party's failings writ large. Still, though, The Brothers find time to talk about how their mom has embarrassed them through the years, how Jonathan's wedding planning is going, and about whether or not the Will Smith classic, "Wild Wild West," slaps (it does). It's a new day in America, folks! Joe Biden is president and The Johns couldn't be happier about it, let me tell you. The brothers ostensibly are here to review the PSA episode "Joe Biden is President" (great title), but The Johns did little more than gush about how amazing his inauguration speech was, so this episode went places as The Brothers took a deep dive into the Liberal Mind. As usually, they talk about politics and current events and whatever, but today's episode is really about reading funny tweets, bonding over The Brothers' shared struggles with body dysmorphia, and speculating quietly about what kind of trauma their dad must have from his years as a schoolboy in England. *EMERGENCY PODCAST*I don't know if you guys have seen the news recently or anything, but there was kinda sorta maybe a baby coup that happened last week. Sure, it didn't really go anywhere, but some people died, and The Johns didn't exactly have the best takes about it.The Brothers talk about the coup, whether or not it was worse than 9/11 (it wasn't), whether or not this was the most heinous and evil and vile thing ever committed by an American president (it wasn't), but that despite that, it's still pretty pretty bad. Also they chat about how the government can use this as an excuse to further expand their police state powers, watching MAGA chuds cry about getting kicked off of planes, and about how their mom is a poster now. Also it's OK to punch Nazis.

It's the final episode of 2020 for The Brothers, and they review another mailbag episode of PSA ("Melania's Last Christmas"). The Brothers definitely chat about the politics and things regarding the transition and Covid and Biden and Trump and the Georgia runoffs et al, but things get really interesting when Ian decides to have an impromptu mailbag with his brother. The Brothers review another Monday episode this week ("Caught in the Trump Trap"), and talk about how lame Biden's cabinet picks have been thusfar. Except for Neera, obviously. She might detest the poor and be a guileless careerist, but hey, gotta respect a fellow poster. We've talked about this before, dear listeners, but it kind of sucks for the Brothers whenever The Johns just talk about how bad Republicans are. I mean, yes. They are. It is known. It doesn't give us a ton of material to work with. That doesn't stop Ian and Jonathan from finding stuff that's very wrong with this particular PSA Monday episode ("Have You Tried Role Playing?"), but still, the pickins were slim.Aside from flexing about their Beta Male Baking Skillz, the Brothers also talked about how The Johns have some selective memory around student loan debt forgiveness, while also brainstorming how they might be able to adapt the SUFTJ format to keep things fresh. Ian also tells Jonathan that he enjoys their weekly calls to record, which is the closest thing to acceptance Jonathan has ever gotten from him. Also they both hate their family zoom calls.

The Brothers try to review a Monday episode of PSA ("Transition to greatness!"), but they definitely don't stick the landing. I mean, yeah, they cover some boring stuff around the Biden transition and whether or not there will be a deal struck by Congress for Covid relief and whatever, but they also talk about how Jonathan keeps getting compared to Jack Black despite wanting nothing more than to be known for his handsomeness and Ian - a Navy Man - doesn't know what a keel is. With all of that being said, in many ways, David and Jules Evans relationship is no different from that of most fathers and sixteen-year-old daughters. He struggles to understand her, she refuses to communicate with him. He wants to be involved in her life, she wants her own space. In one important aspect, however, David and Jules are separated from the rest of society: the death of Jules' mum, and David's wife, in a car crash two years previous. With both struggling to cope with the rigors of daily life in the wake of this devastating loss, Jules decides to take matters into her own hands. Creating profiles for David on multiple online dating platforms, Jules sets out to find her dad a partner and, for herself, someone with whom she can talk. The question is, in the search for a new mum, will Jules find her old dad?

I don't want to say The Brothers phoned this one in, but I don't want to lie to you either, so let's just say that it's a short-but-sweet one this week. The Brothers eschew reviewing an episode of PSA for the second episode in a row in favor of giving Normies their rightful chance to celebrate Biden's victory, and find an equivalent joy in watching Republicans have their world crumble around them. It'll be back to their regular make-fun-of-the-Johns programming next week, so please enjoy this brief sojourn and join The Brothers in speculating about Trump's exit from office, and 2024 elections, and Dan Crenshaw's height.

The Brothers ignore their normal duties of reviewing an episode of PSA in favor of having voting expert, former Brennan Center attorney, and current Director of Policy for Pitt Cyber, Chris Deluzio (@ChrisDeluzio) as a guest star for this very special episode. The Brothers review another boring Monday episode ("Covid, covid, covid.") in which The Johns spend most of their time chastising Trump for his handling of Covid and praising Biden for his 3rd dimensional chess that has been this election cycle. It's kind of a snoozer to be honest, so The Brothers spice things up by Jonathan having a crisis of conscience over whether or not to vote for Biden while living in a safely Blue State, and Ian continues his quest to cyberbully a Harvard Law student through maybe the most painful reading you'll hear all week.

The Brothers review another Monday episode where the Johns discuss the state of the election, Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation hearing, and the negotiation for another Covid relief bill ("Willy Wonka and The Covid Factory"). Not gonna lie, it's kind of a snoozer until Jonathan turns Ian onto a new show villain, and Ian leans into his Cyberbully tendencies to drag an unsuspecting trustfund, Harvard Law, Never-Trump Zoomer. In the wake of RBG's death, The Brothers watch as The Johns get radicalized in this Monday episode ("RBG and the fight to come"). The Brothers can't believe The Johns are actually advocating for things like stacking the courts, but are not surprised at all when they don't actually encourage Dems in Congress to use their powers or anything to try to stop Trump from confirming a new justice, but you know what? Baby steps. Jonathan also offers a sincere apology as his grand experiment of using Instagram like it's Twitter has predictably terrible consequences. Not to be outdone, Ian threatens to dox him.

The Brothers review another Thursday episode this week ("Trump's Covid Confessions"), and agree that the Johns have a boring and predictable take on Bob Woodward's tapes of Trump talking about Covid. But when climate change comes up, things get heated (pun intended), and the brothers lose their cool (I'll stop). This episode will also give you insight into some of Jonathan's insecurities, Ian's thoughts about the Godzilla (1998) soundtrack, and a brief memoriam of Ian's beloved, departed hedgehog, Reggie.
