Dive into the latest political shockwaves with Rita Cosby as she unpacks explosive claims of over 6,000 non-citizens making it onto New Jersey's voter rolls—a scandal state officials desperately tried to brush off as a mere "computer glitch." The lines light up as Rita and her fiery callers tackle the radical surge of the Democratic Socialists of America, reacting to a poll showing AOC as a top Presidential contender and politician Zohran Mamdani's threats to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. From James Carville's unfiltered takedown of progressive elites to deep-dives into the ideological war tearing apart the Democratic party, this episode is a no-holds-barred look at the far-left's growing influence.

Chris Clements and Sean Noble return for a hard-hitting discussion on the accelerating march of Marxism in America—and why the New York City primary elections should be viewed as a national wake-up call. This wasn't the Democratic establishment at work. This was Zohran Mamdani's coming-out party. Riding a wave of Democratic Socialist activism, Mamdani helped propel three like-minded congressional candidates to victory, demonstrating that the movement is no longer confined to the political fringe. Chris and Sean argue that this is part of a long-term strategy: capture city governments, reshape local institutions, and ultimately transform the country from the ground up. These were not isolated elections. They are a blueprint.  The conversation then shifts to Arizona, where Republican primaries are beginning to take shape. Chris and Sean break down the latest debates in the governor's race and Arizona's First Congressional District while questioning the political logic behind David Schweikert's decision to leave Congress for a gubernatorial race where the electoral math simply doesn't appear to work.  They also examine the latest revelations from former Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard concerning COVID-19 and renewed scrutiny surrounding Dr. Anthony Fauci—known to longtime Light Beer Dark Money listeners as "Dr. Faustus." With Senator Rand Paul subpoenaing Fauci to testify before the Senate Homeland Security Committee, Chris and Sean ask whether years of unanswered questions may finally lead to accountability—or even justice.  Despite the alarming headlines, the episode ends where Light Beer Dark Money always does—with hope. America remains the greatest experiment in self-government ever conceived, built on faith, freedom, and free enterprise. But those principles are under sustained attack. Chris and Sean discuss why so many Americans are being taught to hate their own country, why democratic socialism has become politically fashionable, and what defenders of liberty must do before the window to act closes.  The battle for America's future isn't coming. It's already here.  #FaithFreedomFreeEnterprise #PrattPodcast #Communism #Marxism #DemocraticSocialism #NewYork #ArizonaPolitics #TulsiGabbard #RandPaul #DrFaustus #COVIDOrigins #Politics #Liberty   Subscribe for weekly conversations on Faith, Freedom & Free Enterprise with Sean Noble and Chris Clements. Episode #559: “Comrade,” Renata says, when asked how she would like to be remembered. A member of the People's Defense Force and a former political prisoner, she uses the word to name what sustains her in Myanmar's revolution: loyalty to those who have suffered, fought, been jailed, and died. Before the 2021 coup, Renata was a law student who describes her life as centered on study and office work. Following the coup, she hesitated initially to take part in direct action, and instead chose to participate online, calling herself a “keyboard fighter” then. But as the crackdowns intensified, she joined street protests, and then learned to make Molotov cocktails and small bombs for her brother and his friends. In June 2021, she was arrested with her mother and four-year-old sister, who became the country's youngest political prisoner. Renata was sentenced to three years with hard labor but freed after four months upon signing a pledge not to participate in revolutionary activity. She describes prison as lasting trauma. After her release, she joined the PDF in northern Shan State. Jungle life revolved around food and water scarcity, physical endurance, and evading airstrikes and landmines. For young people anxious to join the resistance, she says they must prepare physically and mentally for hunger, discrimination, sleeplessness, and trauma; women, she adds, will face additional burdens. Her own ability to sustain herself through these challenges is rooted in her relationships with her comrades and her dedication to defeating the junta. Yet Renata still allows herself to imagine a peaceful future after this long struggle. “Please keep on watching our revolution!” she pleads to the international audience.

Mark Twain's Jim, introduced in Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1885), is a shrewd, self‑aware, and enormously admirable enslaved man, one of the first fully drawn Black fathers in American fiction. Haunted by the family he has left behind, Jim acts as father figure to Huck, the white boy who is his companion as they raft the Mississippi toward freedom. Jim is also a highly polarizing figure: he is viewed as an emblem both of Twain's alleged racism and of his opposition to racism; a diminished character inflected by minstrelsy and a powerful challenge to minstrel stereotypes; a reason for banning Huckleberry Finn and a reason for teaching it; an embarrassment and a source of pride for Black readers. In Jim: The Life and Afterlives of Huckleberry Finn's Comrade (Yale UP, 2025) eminent Twain scholar Shelley Fisher Fishkin probes these controversies, exploring who Jim was, how Twain portrayed him, and how the world has responded to him. Fishkin also follows Jim's many afterlives: in film, from Hollywood to the Soviet Union; in translation around the world; and in American high school classrooms today. The result is Jim as we have never seen him before—a fresh and compelling portrait of one of the most memorable Black characters in American fiction. Shelley Fisher Fishkin is the Joseph S. Look, either you know what this is or you won't believe us. In 2017, Steven Soderbergh and writer Ed Solomon made a murder mystery show that was an app on your phone. You used your phone to decide which scenes to watch next to find out who killed Sharon Stone. This is real. Then they re-edited it as a miniseries for HBO, and now you can't watch the app version literally anywhere. The whole thing is nuts, and thank G-d we have our friend Comrade Yui to help us navigate through it (app joke). Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind. «Посеешь ветер — пожнешь бурю» Comrade. Perm burns, deep in the Russian Urals as Lukoil's largest refinery is hit and Tuapse is smacked for the fourth time. It is 30 April 2026. The city of Perm, in the Russian Urals, sits more than fifteen hundred kilometres from the Ukrainian border. It is, by any conventional military measure, supposed to be safe. It is the sort of place Russian state media has spent four years assuring its citizens is permanently beyond the reach of Ukraine's response.----------SUPPORT THE CHANNEL:https://www.buymeacoffee.com/siliconcurtainhttps://www.patreon.com/siliconcurtainhttps://www.gofundme.com/f/scaling-up-campaign-to-fight-authoritarian-disinformation----------SILICON CURTAIN LIVE EVENTS - FUNDRAISER CAMPAIGN Events in 2025 - Advocacy for a Ukrainian victory with Silicon Curtainhttps://buymeacoffee.com/siliconcurtain/extrasOur events of the first half of the year in Lviv, Kyiv and Odesa were a huge success. The Zionist Entity of Israel continues its imperialist expansion and domination of the peoples of the Middle-East. Initially, they had agreed to a ceasefire with Iran which including Lebanon and then proceed to break that ceasefire immediately following the beginning of it. This is not unlike Israel and is in fact a repeat behaviour of the American imperialist proxy state. In this video, Comrade Ali and Daniel explain to us what Israel is doing. The speech mentioned the targeting of health worker staff in the U.K for speaking up against the imperialist crimes in the Middle-East. ______________________________________________ Subscribe! Together, they take listeners inside the VFW's Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) fact-finding mission — a powerful, on-the-ground look at the ongoing effort to bring America's missing service members home. Geisler reflects on his first experience in the region, sharing insights from visits across Hawaii, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. From the cutting-edge forensic work at the Daniel K. Inouye Center for Excellence to remote recovery sites in Vietnam, the episode highlights the complexity, danger and urgency of DPAA's mission. The conversation explores the science behind identification, the challenges of degraded remains and difficult terrain, and the critical role of international partnerships in advancing recovery efforts. The discussion also underscores the impact of funding shortfalls, government shutdowns and logistical barriers that threaten future missions — raising important questions about America's commitment to its promise to never leave a fallen comrade behind. Through meetings with foreign governments, veteran organizations and recovery teams, Couture and Geisler emphasize the power of veteran-to-veteran diplomacy in overcoming political barriers and strengthening cooperation. From emotional visits to historic sites like the Hanoi Hilton, to honoring those lost in a 2001 recovery mission helicopter crash, this episode captures both the human cost of war and the enduring dedication to accountability. With heartfelt reflections on service, sacrifice and remembrance, Episode 62 reinforces the VFW's unwavering mission to bring every service member home. Comrade Ali speaks at an anti-war rally in Bristol on the further aggression against Iran/Lebanon/Palestine by the imperialists. A group of Pahlavists showed up to march and to counter demo, shamelessly chanting " Israel thank you, USA thank you" " This is the final battle". These imperialist agents tailed the demonstration in order to intimidate participants, one of them tried to intimidate people in the anti war march and even tried to snatch their flag. Comrade Ali exposes the deception: the "beheaded babies" fabrications, the medical-vehicle war crimes in Lebanon, the double-tap bombing of an Iranian girls' school. He shows how health workers are being systematically targeted – and why health workers here must find the courage to speak up. Most importantly, he outlines what British workers can do: refuse to stock Israeli goods, refuse to handle warmongering newspapers, refuse to load weapons, refuse to use the FDP. Organise. Take back your unions. Grow a spine. What purpose can be served by insisting on referring to the popular government in Tehran as a "regime" and declaring that we could not possibly support it? That is not solidarity, it is accepting and promoting imperialist propaganda lies. Down with imperialism! Zendeh Bād Iran! Victory to the resistance!

As the truth comes to light, we examine how the authorities built their case—and how a man who claimed absolute power was ultimately stripped of it.From arrest to conviction, Part 2 reveals the long-overdue collapse of a decades-long nightmare—and the fight for justice that brought it to an end.

Comrade Ali speaks at an anti-war rally in Bath on the struggles in the middle east and what British workers can do to oppose the British war machine and exercise their own power. A group of Pahlavists (Iranian expat monarchists) showed up to disrupt the speakers – while advocating for "free speech", naturally! These imperialist agents tailed the demonstration in order to intimidate participants, proudly raising Israeli, American, and monarchist Iranian flags. They were even chanting: "Thank you Israel and thank you America" – making very clear where their real allegiance lies. They are bitterly opposed to any solidarity with the anti-imperialist struggles in the region – including that of Palestine – knowing well how unpopular the Pahlavi cause is. Amongst the marchers, there was a noticeable hesitation to simply state: "I don't support the bombing of Iran, and I stand with the Iranian people and their government." But if we really want to call ourselves anti-imperialists; if we really want to stop the aggressive war machine; it is clearly not the time to prevaricate over giving full support to a country that is on the front line, defending itself from a vicious and unprovoked imperialist aggression What purpose can be served by insisting on referring to the popular government in Tehran as a "regime" and declaring that we could not possibly support it? In this disturbing episode of Seven Deadly Sinners, we unravel the psychological grip behind the Lambeth Slavery Case and the cult built by Aravindan Balakrishnan, known to his followers as "Comrade Bala"Operating from a Maoist commune in Lambeth, England - Balakrishnan fashioned himself as a revolutionary visionary. But behind the rhetoric of class struggle and liberation lay decades of coercion, isolation, and absolute control over vulnerable women who believed he held the key to their survival. At the center of his manipulation was a bizarre invention he called “Jackie” — a supposed high-tech monitoring system he claimed could track thoughts, movements, and even disloyalty. In reality, Jackie wasn't a machine at all, but a psychological weapon. By convincing his followers that he possessed near-omnipotent surveillance powers, Balakrishnan reinforced paranoia, obedience, and fear, turning imagination into shackles. How does a man weaponize belief itself? How can captivity last nearly 30 years in plain sight? This episode explores the dangerous alchemy of ideology, narcissism, and manufactured omniscience — and how one man's delusion became a prison without bars.

Amidst the unceasing murderous march of capitalist imperialism and its transformation into new fascisms, the mantra of the revolutionary is to become organised, either by founding or joining a revolutionary organisation such a party, in order to establish a political organ for the proliferation of capitalism's overthrow. In this episode, Adam is joined by Elane Heffernan and David Renton to discuss a case of revolutionary organisation and its failure which still shapes the ecosystem of revolutionary activity in the UK today: the Socialist Worker's Party or SWP, and the culture of abuse that led to its decline . The SWP was Britain's largest Marxist organisation until 2013, when the central committee's shameful treatment of women who accused one of its leadership, "Comrade Delta", of sexual assault led to an exodus of members and the discrediting of their structures and methods. In this episode, we discuss their experienced during this scandal and how it arose from the SWP's internal culture, and what radicals can learn from the failures of the UK's largest Far-Left Party. David's history of the scandal, "Comrade Delta" containing over 50 interviews with members and ex-members of the SWP, is out this July from Ebb books.Support the showSupport the podcast:Current classes at Acid Horizon Research Commons (AHRC): https://www.acidhorizonpodcast.com/ahrc-mainWebsite: https://www.acidhorizonpodcast.com/Linktree: https://linktr.ee/acidhorizonAcid Horizon on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/acidhorizonpodcast Boycott Watkins Media: https://xenogothic.com/2025/03/17/boycott-watkins-statement/ Subscribe to us on your favorite podcast: https://pod.link/1512615438Merch: http://www.crit-drip.comSubscribe to us on your favorite podcast platform: https://pod.link/1512615438 LEPHT HAND: https://www.patreon.com/LEPHTHANDHappy Hour at Hippel's (Adam's blog): https://happyhourathippels.wordpress.comSplit Infinities (Craig's Substack): https://splitinfinities.substack.com/Music: https://sereptie.bandcamp.com/ and https://thecominginsurrection.bandcamp.com/
