Do you ever think about the things you wished you'd done in your life but didn't? In this week's episode, that's what I'm pondering…regret. One of the things I've come to know over the course of my life is that tomorrow is not promised and things can change on the drop of a dime. As a result, I have embarked on a path of creating a “No Regerts” kind of life. You might think that's a typo…it's not. It's from a Milky Way commercial from back in the day. You can watch it here if you're interested: No Regerts My thoughts on regret were prompted by a video that my mom sent out the other day. Watch it here: Video from Mom (Seven Life Lessons) and a book I read some years back by Bronnie Ware (Regrets of the Dying). These nudges were the catalyst for my reflections on my life and how I want to live going forward. I also share a story I heard from Simon Sinek on The Importance of Taking Breaks .Hopefully, this conversation will inspire you to create a “No Regerts” life, too! Ever find yourself there but not really there? How about easily annoyed with people? In week three of our No Regerts series, Conor helps us see how Jesus modeled being present and, if we are going to live like He did, why it's so important.
In week two of No Regerts, Jodi Hickerson looks at the importance of knowing what God says about you and why that should always outweigh what 'they' say about you.
In week one of No Regerts, Kyle Idleman talks about how busyness, often our fix for having no regrets, may exactly be the reason why we have so many.

We've reached our bicent...episodial?!01:58 - ReminiscingToday we're looking back over more than three years of producing the CBP. Here are some our initial thoughts:-Our intro is still rocking a 2019 vibe. -Mom is usually pretty supportive, but… There's an episode out there somewhere from those very first episodes, and we would really love for them to stay buried deep in whatever pile of digital debris. Tyler poses a challenge: If we get to 100 ratings on Apple Podcasts within two months of today's episode, he'll share this embarrassment. -Tyler flashes back to the studio setup for those earliest episodes: Just a couple dudes and a big-screen TV.-Eddie recalls and early episodes with Pete DuMont, Clifton Harness, and more.09:08 - Whitey Tighties, Pete Rose and Cannibalistic HamstersEddie gives a shout-out to his favorite episode title. Our middle brother, Andy, joined us for this episode, which consisted of brotherly recollections. Poor guy passed out quite often. We cringe as we look back at our early rhythms and quirks. Tough stuff. 11:48 - Favorite episodesHere are a few that we look back on most fondly:-Going Analog in a Digital World - (feat. Eric Reinholdt of the 30x40 Design Workshop on Youtube) -Eric Anderson and his leg lamp-Todd Dawalt (who has his own podcast, Construction Leading Edge) and our discussion about the labor shortage as we headed into the pandemic -David Smigel and an early conversation about Starlink on jobsites-Roy Underhill of The Woodwright's Shop-Lego episode-The House that Sears Built-The RFI Blockchain-Matt Byrd of the Reality Capture Network-Donnie Williams and our conversation about supply chains19:15 - Surprise lessonsWe spend some time exploring what we've learned. Eddie shares that he'd thought he had the solutions that the construction industry needs. He has seen his understanding expand and has gained empathy.Tyler discusses leadership and the constraints that make it hard for higher-ups to do things the way that younger, less-experienced people think things ought to be done. We express our appreciation for the sometimes contentious discussions. We've seen growth result from the open exploration of points of disagreement. 28:00 - Echo chambersTyler dumps some thoughts about people pitching themselves as guests in order to discuss the fact that the industry is slow to accept technology. He disagrees. Eddie lists technologies that have been readily adopted because they increase our productivity and make us look more competent. He acknowledges that he'd look like an old man if he'd step back onto a residential-construction jobsite today with tools that didn't exist when he was working in that world. We discuss the program features and the types of content that we've chosen to leave behind.39:43 - Megaphone messageWe share our thoughts for the industry. They're simple:-Eddie: Treat others the way you'd like them to treat you.-Tyler: Say thanks. Hey, Everyone! In this episode, we are discussing Tattoos! The best part about this episode, is that when we mentioned on our Facebook page that we were going to talk about Tattoos, Dana replied that she had just finished a MASSIVE spreadsheet about tattoos! Thank Goodness for that, because it was also MASSIVELY helpful. We talk about all the times Eve has been tattooed against her will, how many killers tattooed their victims, and a tattoo YANNI! We also speculate on which characters would have a tattoo and what those tattoos would be. We would love to see Trina someday put a tattoo on Roarke against his will, and we decide that it should be a tattoo of Scrooge McDuck. Also, if Feeney has a tattoo, it's of the Rolling Stones logo of the lips with the tongue hanging out. (see attachments). We are pretty sure that at the very least, Dickie Berenski has a lame tattoo...something like "No Regerts."

A reddit thread went viral as users shared their biggest regrets from their 20s. We wanted to see what the Metro's biggest regrets were.
The Brothers are back (a bit later than we'd have liked, but you'll get what you're given) for the 20th anniversary of the invasion of Iraq. Pundits abound with incredible takes ranging from "We were right to be wrong!" to "YOLO!" This is a legit triggering episode for the Brothers, who came of age in Bush America, but they stuff those feelings into a ball deep in their bellies so that YOU, Dear Listener, have some more slop for your trough. Enjoy!
Marc doesn't waste any time this episode, jumping right into things with a few TV shows--including Star Trek: Enterprise and a bit more Miami Vice--before wrapping things up with The Forest Cathedral, POSTAL 4: No Regerts, and a Plex-related Patreon Question. Anyway and as always, thank you for watching or listening, I hope you enjoy this here episode, and I hope you have a wonderful wonderful rest of your day. I would appreciate it greatly.)
Today we take a look at dive into regret. Regret is a doorway to depression, shame and the root cause for many misspelled tattoos..."No Regerts". But how does regret land with you in your emotional body. It could be said that regret is a useless emotion, but maybe we just aren't ready to hear the message of what regret is trying to tell us. We can find regret in the biggest of decisions, but also in the menial ones, like getting the fish instead of the steak at your friends wedding. And then we start "shoulding" all over ourselves. I should have done this. I can't believe I did that. It's a vicious cycle that we continuously put ourselves through and to gain what? What could have been? How do you know it's better that what you did? Well, here are 3 humans, having an open and honest conversation about regret. ~Enjoy the Journey~ IG - @adamriehlhealing FB - facebook.com/adamriehlhealing FB - facebook.com/robin.grether.1 IG - @itzyourweirdaunt
Have you ever seen someone have the “no regrets” tattoo, but it is misspelled to say “no regerts?” It’s kinda funny. It’s kinda sad. And, at the same time, it’s a whole-lot-a true. It is often like that. We say we want to live a life of no regrets, but that just isn’t an accurate […]
