With a career spanning more than 2 decades he has been part of pretty significant projects from his humble beginnings in Francis Ford Coppola’s The Rainmaker to the 2019 Best Picture academy award winner Greenbook. Our guest this week, is a post production producer and creative manager with Hogarth World Wide / GPS, as well as a voice over artist. He has been instrumental in the creation of various Television and radio commercial campaigns, with primary responsibilities including receiving all media from the companies broadcast production department and taking the product to it’s final stages including CGI/GRFX, Edit, Color correct, Audio record/mix and sound design. Josh Mikel is an actor, playwright, director, and musician from Conyers, GA. A graduate of Florida State University's Theatre and Creative Writing programs, he honed his craft on the stage at FSU's School of Theatre. There, he developed a love for film and TV working on both sides of the camera, with the acclaimed Florida State Film School. A published playwright, Josh is known particularly for his theatre for young audiences works, "The Monster Hunters," and "Good Good Trouble on Bad Bad Island." He is the resident playwright at Endstation Theatre Company (Lynchburg, VA). As a director, he has created and animated music videos for the acts Against Me!, Waxahatchee, Jake Bugg, Neon Trees, and American Authors. Josh is the long time drummer for the indie rock band Look Mexico. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia where he is represented by J Pervis Talent Agency.
