Or make you feel like there's no room in any space for you? Yeah yeah, our guest Lys let us know those clowns have a name; PLAYER HATERS. They think you don't deserve what you've gotten for yourself and make it known to everyone but you that they're not feeling it anymore. LAME.
This week we don't have a guest so we catch up on the last couple weeks.
This week we discuss sustainabilty with our guest Shape.
This week our guest Heather brought us donuts to eat while we talk about side hustles & pyramid schemes.

In every social scene there's the group of weathered folks who want to tell the younger ones what things used to be like. Everyone loves nostalgia but no one likes being spoken to condescendingly. Being an adult has it's ups and downs depending on how you go about it.

America's falling apart so it may be time to leave soon. Where would you move if you left the country? That's what we discuss this week with Gulu.
This week Ray had to take a nap so our friend Bayron filled in! We complained with our guest Kyle about Elitists and those people who cool guy ya. You know the types, they want to see what gear you have to judge you, what bands they've seen that you haven't, they tell you how to get famous or how to book tours, or what ever the fuck they base their personalities on that makes them think they're superior to you. For us, we compared how our professions and hobbies all have the types of people who think they need to put you down because they do it the “better” way. What did we learn this week? Fuck the haterz. ————————- You can find kyle through his personal Instagram @senorlegume or peep his band @tangledupband. Keep an eye out for their upcoming release “Silk Embroidered Light” or check out their release show in Philly on 2/24!
This week we discuss gear snobs and indie bros with John Cozz.
Teddy Faley, Baltimore's own rapping animal lover came through to discuss ANXIETY. It's something everyone has a hard time with, even if they don't realize it. There's coping mechanisms but do they really work? We talk about where we feel the most comfortable and confident, and when we struggle the most. You can find Teddy's music and small sweater collection on the INTERNET. Pretty amazing right? His new album “Teddy Brown Brown” is streaming now at wearethekarmakids.Bandcamp.com!
The very talented Raylo (@radnines) hung out with us this week! You either know Raylo for the shows she's hosted, the shirts she's screenprinted, the art she's made prints of or her awesome traditional tattoos! We talked specifically about how people lack boundaries when it comes to work or art, and how FUCKED UP people are. Enjoy this episode while the punks maneuver through their thoughts and shared feelings. You can find @radnines in Philly. Peep their page for their sick tattoos!
Bella couldn't make it this week so our friend Bayron fills in while we talk to Nick about going to shows.
Another Tuesday means another episode of the aging punks! This week, Tyler Budwash of Pilger Ruh brewing was our guest! He is someone who certainly earned their “aging punk” card from years of booking shows and, of course, inevitably getting older. Tyler brought of the topic of “beer and wrestling.” I wasn't really sure how we'd go about complaining about two things loved by many people, but alas there's negatives to everything. Listen to how we hash it out! If you're in the Pottsville, PA area and in need of a brewery to visit, you can check out Pilger Ruh!

This week the punks reflect on something everyone has struggled with before. Whether it be friends or foes, settling conflict is something we've all had to do. It never really feels good, but it cannot always be avoided.
This week the punks hang out with Ray's long time friend, Sal! With a more serious tone for this episode, we sit back and reflect on the last eleven months or so, and how it got us to where we are in this strange, alternate timeline that no one saw coming. Has the pandemic really changed who we are as people? As a society? For better or worse? Don't forget! You can leave us input or add your own anecdote by leaving us a voicemail or text message to be read on the air! 609 358 0804
This week Rissa and Casey join us to get something off their chests; all music is the same, and it's always false accusations of plagiarism. Songs can only be so different from one another, where do you draw the line between a copy or an homage? Or just a normal chord progression that sounds like another?
This week the punks hang out with Angie Kamping, and delve into the concept that is being “Child-Free” and how people treat you when you are. Children are great sometimes! But there should never be judgement on someone's choice to avoid having children.
The punks were too busy to do an episode this week, so here are some greatest hits from Derek Smacklund's phone call albums to hold you over till next week.
Dylan Tasch, a local audio engineer and music producer, sat down with the punks to discuss their dislike for overproduced music. Of course, we can never stay on topic so we segue through our unraveling minds and end up all over the place! We talk a bit about the “music business” and pizza and how Pennsylvania isn't even real. You can find Dylan's portfolio and links on Instagram - @midleygrangerecording!
This week we hung out with the wonderful person you heard about on last weeks episode. Melissa Oliver leads us through the shit that gets under her skin. One of our more passionate guests as of late, Melissa tells us all about those terrible people balls deep in the shit that is their phones, and how it affects everyone around them. We touch base on climate change, litterers, and our neighborhoods. Melissa's advice? Don't spend all day inside on your smartphone. Go outside and feel the grass on your bare feet.
Surprise! Your family may not be what you thought it was.
Every American knows the struggle. You're either too broke to afford it, or you go broke trying to afford it. Health insurance is there ‘in case shit happens' to you, and for insurance providers to attempt to ring you dry of everything you've got, if you can even find a doctor to see you. To call it a scam is an understatement. Learn how the punks deal with medical bills and their poor experiences with healthcare!
This week the punks duke it out with Phillyhead Matt Charles; the mastermind behind Do-It-Now T Shirt (@doitnowtshirts) and Assemble (@assembletheband)! We grapple with nostalgia and how social media has changed the music scene over the last decade (or two). From booking tours to finding shows and promoting music, we cover all the bases of where we have been to where we're at now. You can check out Assemble's new music video on their new YouTube channel now or stream them on your favorite streaming services!
