Laureato in giurisprudenza a Roma, lavora come giornalista e collabora alla scrittura di alcune sceneggiature cinematografiche e televisive. A Parma, negli anni Cinquanta, dirige la rivista cinematografica «Sequenze».Le pietre volanti è uno dei suoi romanzi di maggior successo, per il quale vince il Premio Viareggio e il Premio Feronia nel 1992.Dopo la sua morte, dal 2010 si è cominciato il Premio Luigi Malerba di narrativa e cinema, a sua memoria, dedicato a opere inedite e sceneggiature di giovani con meno di 28 anni. Comincia il crudele duello contro un male che la medicina non sa arrestare e che si conclude il 6 aprile, Sabato Santo, nel tripudio delle campane che annunciano la Resurrezione. Come è potuto nascere e svilupparsi questo sconvolgimento?“Ognuno di noi si prepara la propria morte,” ha scritto Leonardo Sciascia raccontando la fine di Raymond Roussel. Stando alle testimonianze dei suoi amici medici, Pascoli se la preparò senz'altro con una condotta di vita segnata dal dolore, dalle delusioni, dalla solitudine e dall'alcol. La sua esistenza è perciò una lunga rincorsa verso l'epilogo atroce. Mondello Park has been around for 57 years and is the only dedicated motor racing circuit in the Republic. It's where a young Ayrton Senna learned his trade and where the late Eddie Jordan started his racing team too. It hit the financial buffers in the mid 80s but is now back in business and quite popular for corporate days out and for racing bikes as well as normal and supercars. Leo Nulty from Mondello Park chatted to Leo about the business of the circuit.

Anni ombra è un prosimetro e ha natura indecidibile: come nella celebre immagine dell'anatra-coniglio, quando si arriva a riconoscere un contorno, con la coda dell'occhio se ne scorge un altro. Il narcisismo dello scrittore è azzerato, cosicché la presunta autobiografia esplode (come nella prosa di Casa di foglie di Mark Z. Danielewski), ma è proprio l'esplosione dei generi a caratterizzare questi frammenti, che vogliono restare tali. Non bisogna ricomporli: nel cervello umano come nel Cloud digitale ogni dato e ogni evento si scindono senza posa o si affiancano a innumerevoli altri. In uno zibaldone che non esorcizza il caos, si accumulano nuclei di senso e di non-senso, e tuttavia gli elementi attrattori non mancano. Chi si avvicina è tenuto a lasciarsi attrarre: gli oscillanti pronomi che attraversano questi Anni ombra equiparano autore (l'io-lui nelle sue varie epoche) e lettori, quelli reali e quello, petulante come un'AI, che si materializza nel prosimetro. Ma tutti, alla fine, svolgono il loro ruolo di ricognitori delle nostre interazioni fondamentali.Alberto Casadei insegna Letteratura italiana all'Università di Pisa. E allora ecco, come in una fiaba bizzarra, crudele e dolcissima ci viene incontro la giovane Raniera, Gran Custode del Palio. Per lei, cuore semplice, incantata testimone, tutto cambia quando a terremotare le sue certezze arriva Das Lubbert, che di quelle rane è fratello. Nessuno degli abitanti di Luceoli – tutti incollati alle loro consuetudini – ha mai saputo leggere oltre la corsa degli scarriolanti, oltre il teatro della festa, dei banchetti, oltre i soprannomi che ciascuno si porta addosso. E invece. E invece non era tutto così semplice, neanche per il semplice cuore della Raniera. E adesso che fare? La storia si ribalta? La favola si incrina? In questo rito tribale, arcaico, favoloso, si avverte un confronto serrato con la natura umana e animale. Dalia, nei giorni di ricovero, conosce due bambini che hanno avuto pure loro un incidente: il bambino soporoso che non può parlare e Morena, che non si muove bene, ma riesce a scrivere. Uscita dall'ospedale, di quei bambini, Dalia per molto tempo non saprà niente. Senza famiglia, senza soldi e senza casa, Dalia viene accolta dalla vecchia Fioranna, che ha fatto la maestra, sa insegnare e sa difendersi. Fioranna insegna a Dalia due cose: che il mondo così come gli esseri umani l'hanno conosciuto esiste ancora ma è nascosto sulle montagne, e come seppellire un corpo.Così Dalia, dalla valle tiranneggiata dalla famiglia Boscarato, i padroni di sempre – perché il mondo non è più lo stesso, ma chi è padrone tale rimane –, ascende alla montagna e arriva al Villaggio dei Pozzi. Sapendo come accudire e come seppellire, Dalia sa come trattare i corpi vivi e morti, anche quelli non umani. È così che diventa l'assistente del macellaio Biagio e la dama di compagnia dell'eccentrica Orsola. Se in ospedale, da bambina, i compagni di Dalia erano il bambino soporoso e la bambina con la penna, nella sua età matura sono proprio loro: Biagio, il macellaio burbero perseguitato da una gatta bianca, e Orsola, la donna delle storie, che vive da sola in un albergo dismesso dove, come ormai ovunque, si è consumato un delitto.La temperatura del mondo fluttua intorno ai cinquanta gradi, le coltivazioni stentano, il bestiame muore, in montagna c'è acqua ma non ci sono armi né medicinali, in pianura ci sono sia le armi che i medicinali, ma non ci sono né acqua né cibo. È naturale che i Boscarato, come fanno sempre i padroni, tentino di mangiarsi tutte le risorse. Ma quando la temperatura esterna è tanto alta il capitale umano è l'unica risorsa che resta, e mangiare non ha più un significato così metaforico.Se Agota Kristof, nella Trilogia della città di K., ha scritto che si è davvero capaci di uccidere quando si ammazza qualcosa che non bisogna mangiare, se Cormac McCarthy, ne La strada, ha descritto esseri umani che sono riserve alimentari di altri esseri umani, Ginevra Lamberti narra come la produzione di massa cambia il racconto dell'uomo che mangia l'uomo. In un romanzo potente, per scrittura e immaginazione, in cui la tenerezza è prima di tutto un abisso, anzi un fosso, nel quale le prostitute vendono i gesti e le parole della cura e non quelli della seduzione – ammesso che ci sia differenza –, e dove il Veneto è un Far West e Venezia ha smesso di essere un pesce perché la laguna non esiste più, Ginevra Lamberti fonda la mitologia del cambiamento climatico, del rispetto dei morti senza il culto, delle leggende che si ripetono uguali e maledicono secondo maledizioni sempre nuove perché sempre nuove sono le colpe, e dell'amore, che dopo aver fatto movere il sole e le altre stelle, per secoli, adesso le fa implodere.Ginevra Lambertiè nata nel 1985 e vive tra Roma e Vittorio Veneto. Dopo La questione più che altro, uscito nel 2015 per Nottetempo, con Marsilio ha pubblicato Perché comincio dalla fine (2019, premio Mondello 2020) e Tutti dormono nella valle (2022). I suoi romanzi sono stati tradotti in Germania, Cina, Francia, Regno Unito e Brasile.
