Everything Mizzou for Sports Drink. The Mizzodcast is the only and best podcast about Mizzou Football on the web. Tune in weekly to get updates on the Tigers, the SEC, and as always Kansas News. Go Tigers!
The Mizzodcast is undoubtedly the best podcast for any fan of Mizzou football. As a listener, I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of the show, particularly the segment called Sour Grapes. The hosts' witty banter and humorous commentary bring comic relief to the occasional pain and suffering that comes with being a fan of Mizzou sports. The addition of a listener line is also a great feature, allowing fans to engage with the hosts and participate in the discussions. Additionally, I must commend the fantastic Kansas news segment, which adds an extra layer of entertainment to each episode.
However, while this podcast excels in many areas, there is one segment that I could do without: Kansas. As a lifelong SEC fan, I initially had reservations about a cold-climate, Yankee-cultured team joining our conference. While I have been pleasantly surprised by the hosts' ability to make me crack up at their jokes and witty banter, sometimes it feels like they spend too much time on bashing Kansas. While it may bring amusement to some listeners, as someone who values fair and balanced reporting, I would prefer less focus on mocking another team.
In conclusion, despite my slight criticism regarding the Kansas segment, The Mizzodcast is undeniably an excellent podcast for any Mizzou football fan. It consistently brings joy and laughter to its listeners while providing informative analysis of the team's performance and relevant sports news updates. Whether you are a casual or hardcore fan of Mizzou football or simply someone who appreciates humor intertwined with sports discussions, this podcast is certainly worth listening to.

Famed football coach Bill McCartney passed on Friday. Most Mizzou fans remember McCartney for his role as the Colorado Buffaloes head coach during his national title run in 1990, and in particular during the infamous 5th down game. But what many don't know is that McCartney was a Mizzou football player himself on the 1960 championship team. I interviewed him for my book "Respectable Roughnecks" in 2014 and this is that interview. RIP Bill.
