Hosts Brad Fowler and Alex Higdon break down all the biggest storylines from Week 13 in the NFL and Rivalry Week in College Football. We cover — the Chiefs suffering a devastating loss to the Cowboys that puts their playoff hopes on life-support, and why Kansas City might need to win out just to sneak into the postseason. Dallas, meanwhile, shocks everyone by starting their brutal three-game gauntlet 2–0 with wins over the Eagles and Chiefs, giving them a legit chance at a playoff berth. The Packers shred the Lions as Jordan Love delivers one of the best performances of his career, and Green Bay suddenly looks like a team clicking at the perfect time. The Bears dominate the Eagles in a game that was anything but a fluke, rushing for 281 yards and out-toughing Philly on both sides of the ball as Caleb Williams flashes the elite arm talent that made him the No. 1 pick. Plus — Josh Allen breaks the NFL rushing-TD record for quarterbacks as the Bills steamroll Pittsburgh’s aging defense, the Panthers stun the Rams behind Bryce Young’s clutch play, and the Texans stay red hot with their fourth straight win over the Colts. In College Football, Ohio State proves once again why they are the best program in the sport, completely separating themselves from Michigan and locking in as the clear national title favorite. Oregon beats Washington to punch its ticket to the CFP, Oklahoma claws past LSU to get in, and Alabama survives Auburn to set up an SEC Championship showdown with Georgia. Texas finishes the year with three losses but three top-10 wins, and its playoff case suddenly gets interesting. Ole Miss wins the Egg Bowl, but Lane Kiffin shocks the sport by taking the LSU job — a move that could cost the Rebels a CFP spot?? Plus — We hand out this week’s CFB Helmet Stickers and NFL Game Balls

FOX Sports' lead College Football analyst Joel Klatt reacts to the latest College Football Playoff rankings where he breaks down the Committee's decisions and why they may be inadvertently walking into a trap that could damage the future of the sport. He then lays out a potential chaos situation this weekend that would create an even greater logjam on the bubble of the 12-team Playoff. He discusses Notre Dame's continued ranking over Alabama inside the Top 10 as Miami inches closer to them this week. He also explains why Michigan's ranking at #15 at the back of the pack of 2-losses bubble teams is sending a problematic signal for future non-conference scheduling. In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts Ryan Abraham, Connor Morrissette (aka "Triple-Double") and intern India Otto are back in studio following USC's disappointing 42-27 loss at Oregon, knocking the Trojans out of the College Football Playoff picture. The loss only dropped SC two spots in the latest CFP top-25 rankings, but with three losses there is essentially no chance to climb up into the top-11 to secure one of the at-large spots. The Trojans will wrap up the regular season with an opportunity to go 9-3, facing off against crosstown rival UCLA in the Coliseum Saturday afternoon. The Bruins started the season looking like the worst team in the country, fired head coach DeShaun Foster, named Tim Skipper as the interim head coach, fired offensive coordinator Tino Sunseri, named Jerry Neuheisel as the play caller and then did the impossible, beat No. 7 Penn State. The Bruins went on to beat Michigan State and Maryland, then came crashing back down to earth, losing the last four games by a combined 129 points. The crew gives their thoughts on the concerns coming out of the Oregon game, the potential for overlooking the Bruins, where the team is health wise and Lincoln Riley's future with the USC football program. With the playoffs off the table, they also discuss which bowl games are the most likely and who some of the potential opponents could be. Shotgun Spratling and Chris Trevino return to podcast form to break down USC's disappointing 42-27 loss to Oregon on the road that leaves the Trojans still searching for their first win in Autzen Stadium since 2011. Shotgun takes on the 'Two-Minute Drill' first, discussing USC's growth as a program, but how it still measures up short to that national-title-contending tier. Chris spends his time talking about some Oregon experiences, including a disastrous La Quinta Inn stay. The HBs move into the 'Stock Up, Stock Down' segment, which features the Trojan special teams, freshman wide receiver Tanook Hines, safety Kennedy Urlacher, tackling on the road and much more. The Helium Boys then dive into the second half of the show to see if the Trojans can close out the year with nine wins in the regular season against crosstown rival UCLA, one of the worst teams in the Big Ten. Chris puts Shotgun through another edition of Take It or Leave It with takes on Lincoln Riley's hot seat for 2026, Makai Lemon's Biletnikoff race and tackles for a loss. The Overtime period features Thanksgiving themes from Turkey Bowls to cousins. Richard Johnson and Alex Kirshner guide you through the coming Rivalry Week in college football, going through dozens of games with 1) playoff stakes, 2) conference championship stakes, and 3) none of those stakes at all, because many of these week's games don't need them to be fascinating. Among the many, many games that we discuss on this episode: * The Egg Bowl: “Distractions” shouldn't matter here. Right? * Georgia vs. Georgia Tech: Why we're not discounting the Yellow Jackets, despite their defense falling off a cliff lately * Texas A&M at Texas: At least half of this podcast thinks the Longhorns are about to pull the upset at home. Why? * Miami at Pitt: A bad matchup for the Panthers, but could Carson Beck gift them a chance at an upset? * Clemson at South Carolina: Which fanbase would be more despondent? * Kentucky at Louisville: Have the trajectories here flipped? * WKU at Jacksonville State: Will the Gamecocks prove harder for WKU's defense to stop than LSU's offense was? * Vanderbilt at Tennessee: Why are we a little nervous about the Dores?* The Iron Bowl: Again, why does at least half of this podcast think the home team is going to pull the upset? * And finally, in THE MAIN COURSE presented by Modelo, we've got Bill Landis of “Bill and Doug on Ohio State Football” in the house. Bill gets us up to speed on this Ohio State season and talks about the Buckeyes' path to ending their four-year drought against Michigan. And much, much more. On this football recap, Will Compton and Taylor Lewan are joined by NFL legend and FOX analyst Greg Olsen to break down Week 12 of the NFL. The boys dive into Shedeur Sanders’ first career win for the Cleveland Browns, Myles Garrett’s dominance, and whether the Vikings should be concerned about J.J. McCarthy. They also discuss the Chiefs winning again and whether Will still believes they won’t make the playoffs, plus the Eagles blowing a 21-point lead to the Cowboys and suffering another tough loss. Then in the College Football portion of the show, Rivalry Week takes center stage. Taylor gives a deep dive into The Game: Ohio State at Michigan, and the boys preview Vanderbilt at Tennessee, Texas A&M at Texas, and Nebraska at Iowa. They also get into all the potential CFP chaos, how the ACC and G5 could shake up the playoff picture, and who they think will win the Heisman Trophy between Jeremiyah Love, Diego Pavia, and Fernando Mendoza.
