Justin is a young man in this industry navigating the path of creation. In an already saturated market, he gives us his insights into what he finds important while making a name for yourself. Great conversation and I can't wait to have him on again in the future. 

Hes innovative and not afraid to take chances. Isn't that what we need in our industry? Past FFA State Officer, Caleb is the owner of Sawtooth Supplement Service. His education is in chemistry and that has allowed him create livestock feed that is the highest quality and most efficient. Check it out.

This girl is a powerhouse in the goat ring. Kenna Gay is from Oklahoma where she grew up playing sports until she fell in love with goats. With help from Darbie Ross she has been able to make herself a dominant force in the goat world and will continue to do so as she continues her show career. 

Recorded after the first day of a Next Level Livestock Camp, all three of us were pretty drained but we were eager to talk about the show industry and everything that comes with it even after a full day of working hogs. Thats what I love about this industry, it evokes passion in whoever allows themselves to be truly invested in it. This New Mexico 4-H Extension Agent is one of my life long friends. Zane grew up in AZ. Judged in Junior College for Connors State College while obtaining his associates. Then he went on to Texas Tech to be a National Livestock Judging Champion!! I am proud to call him a friend and I am always honored when I find myself judging along his side from time to time

Karson and his family are well known in the hog barn across the country. I met him while I was serving on the NJSA Junior board and from 10 years old I knew this kid was going to be super competitive and driven. Turns out my instincts weren't wrong. Being born in the UK, Andy has a unique perspective on the livestock industry. Andy has spent most of his time in Europe raising livestock, starting businesses and helping local producers. As one of my good friends Tyler gets unique opportunities to come on the podcast whenever he pleases. Tyler also taught me about the dwarf gene in sheep which I had little knowledge of and he takes a sip of his first hard seltzer. What an episode. ENJOY!!!

As one of my reoccurring guests, Raymond comes on to talk cattle and Competitive Edge Genetics. But what I was most interested in is his new venture into the music industry. Raymond now manages a young stud in the rap game as well as a music producer who is quickly becoming a known name in the rap industry. Brad Mabry  might be, in my opinion, one of the best judges in the country. It's not just about his evaluation expertise or efficiency. It's about his interactiveness with the exhibitors. Eel River Ranch is a hidden gem in-between a lush forest of old redwood trees and the pacific ocean. Clint Victorine has built a company that produces enough organic grass fed beef for 200 independent retailers as well as all the Whole Foods in the Southwestern states and Hawaii. His dedication to his craft as well as his interest in regenerative agriculture is what we need in this industry. Live interviews are always better. ENJOY!!!

This professional chef has lived a life full of experiences. From traveling around the world to jumping in piranha infested waters, he's not lacking on stories to share. He Is also the Executive Chef of United Harvest. First of many podcasts with Chef. 

These two individuals are have come together to educate and communicate with people in and out of the rabbit industry. Best In Show is the first ever rabbit specific podcast out there. I hope that more people want to learn about this niche industry. It will be fun to watch it grow and expand!

Tor Sorenson is the ultimate "man behind the curtain". For 30 years he has ran a successful Jr. livestock association, SAILA. While as the Executive Director he has seen transitions within our industry from footsteps away. I just can't get over how much change he has seen, and will see throughout his term as Executive Director. 

He maintained a dynasty as a judging coach at ole BUCO JUCO. Now he works at United Animal Health. This guy needs no introduction.

Im always happy to bring on more young people on the podcast for them to tell their story. Jenna did not disappoint. She's outspoken about her views and I appreciate the hell out of that. ENJOY!!!

Cassidy Hayes and his father are the co-owners of HF Genetics. We sat down and talked about more stuff than we both expected probably. I appreciated his honesty and willingness to answer every question I tossed at him.

Coltin calls it luck that he met his wife Kathryn and got involved with the Kelly family. I say he was built for it. Coltin has an eye for marketing and real estate but his real passion the he shares with Kathryn is making the dropper breed better every chance they get. The father of Hillbilly Bone. Kirk has been in the industry long enough to acquire hundreds of lessons and stories a long the way. We know this is one of our longer episodes but the wisdom and history that Kirk shares in this episode is second to none. A friend from my days in Lubbock, TX. This All American Livestock Judger has a very unique and difficult story about his come up within the industry. He's passionate about helping the youth of Texas 4-H as a county extension agent, while traveling around the state and country judging shows. Im happy to call him a friend. ENJOY!!

Im feeling unconventional. Ive got 3 of the best guys on this week all on the same episode! Although they are shorter interviews, I promise you won't be disappointed with the content! ENJOY!!!

This is a cut and dry interview episode, apparently whenever I do an interview with Jace, theres always technical difficulties. Firecracker doesn't even come close to explaining the personality of Tana Simmons. I have found many people in our industry that are truly passionate about helping youth as much as they can. Tana is at the top of that list. I don't think I have met a single person who enjoys helping kids with their projects as much as Tana does. Dairyman. Public Speaker. Twitter God. These are just some of the ways to describe my guest this week. With all the wild stuff going on in the world, dairy's dumping their milk out is slipping under the radar. I wanted to have someone on to discuss this phenomenon and he killed it. ENJOY!!!

This guy lives and breathes TWO things. Agriculture and Hunting. If he's not in the classroom moulding the next generation of agriculturists, he's in the middle of the Arizona wilderness. Colton has had a passion for teaching and educating from the time that he can remember and he does a damn fine job of it. He's a hell of a guy and I'm lucky to call him a friend. 

In these wild times and frequent show cancellations, Jeff Maynard and his team have created a software to help save county fairs/jackpots around the country. Ben Weis and his family are doing some great things in the show cattle world. But his job currently is what I am hooked on. Ben is the Farm Manager for Linz Heritage Angus and I can't wait till you guys hear about the company that he works for and the processes that they go through to produce a high quality cut of beef for consumers all over the world. 

My friend Ty works for the Vice President!!!! From Wyoming, Ty grew up in Wheatland where he raised and showed Angus cattle. He went on to play a major role in the Wyoming Jr. Angus Association, and later attended Casper College. Thats where Ty and I met and quickly became friends. He's one of the smartest and hardest working individuals I've ever known. DON'T SKIP THIS ONE!!! ENJOY. 

Darbie kicks ass for a living in the goat deal. The owner and operator of two businesses at the age of 23, Darbie is a true entrepreneur. She's a goat gal that knows what she's doing in any part of the livestock industry. Im happy to call her a friend and a fellow Next Level Livestock Camp Counselor. ENJOY!!

This is THE GUY!!! Russell Pedrett is the herd manager at Ottenwalter Showpigs in Colusa, CA. If you are in the hog industry and haven't heard of Russell, get out from under the rock you've been living under and meet him. He's one of the most genuine and friendly people I've ever met. I have found that it doesn't matter who you are, Russell is going to treat you with the upmost respect. Hear from one of the best showpig breeders in the country and listen to his story and outlook within our industry. ENJOY!!!

STALLY!!! Lucas is a good friend of mine who loves crossbred hogs. He's also the first guest I've had thats been homeschooled. He's got a mind for hogs and a passion for helping kids all over the country. As I said in the episode, he doesn't have the biggest name, but he makes up for it with his work ethic. ENJOY!!!
