Decision making; evaluation of evidence to make a decision

Estimated reading time: 6 minutes We've officially reached the pinnacle of the Top Dance and Club songs for 2025, and the result is… complicated. While the year wasn't devoid of quality, it landed short of expectations when viewed as a whole. There were standout records. There were undeniable earworms. However, the depth simply wasn't there. Party Favorz is closing out the year with just two volumes instead of the usual three or four. That decision wasn't arbitrary. Typically, the year-end list overflows with must-have club records, forcing careful balance across multiple releases. This time, that pressure never arrived. Volume 2 may end up slightly longer—or not. That call will be made once the final mix comes together. Either way, the numbers told a clear story. The Songs That Carried 2025 To be fair, 2025 did deliver several massive Dance and Club songs that refused to leave our heads. Tracks like Don't Wake Me Up, Destiny, Coming Up, Beautiful People, Dior, Hypnotized, Blessings, The Days, Stephanie, Say My Name, No Broke Boys, Dreamin', and Tell Me were all high-rotation records with real staying power. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Us-4C6Bz5nQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QcgxGxk1kQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2fSojJqyNY Each of these songs qualifies as an earworm in the purest sense. They connected quickly. They tested well on the floor. They held up across repeated listens. Yet even with those highlights, the overall list felt thinner than what's typical for a year-end roundup. That reality forced a rare adjustment. Adjusting the Bar for a Changing Market Historically, Party Favorz has relied on combined YouTube and Spotify streaming totals, supplemented by Beatport Top 10 entries that may not dominate mainstream platforms. That approach usually paints a complete picture of the year. In 2025, however, the mega-streaming hits were fewer and farther between. To round out the Top Dance Songs of 2025, the qualification threshold was lowered to one million combined streams. That wasn't a compromise in taste. Instead, it acknowledged a shifting landscape where listener attention is more fragmented than ever. With more genre-specific releases competing for smaller slices of the audience, fewer tracks reached those runaway numbers we once took for granted. The Ultimate Spring Break Dance Party Mix 2024! The Biggest Dance Songs of 2025 ...So Far! | Catch-Up 2025 The Season's HOTTEST Dance Club Songs: Jingle Electric 2021 Catch-Up 2024 Volume II: The Biggest Dance Club Songs of the Year…So Far! Top Dance Club Songs of the Year 2024 Volume I | The Year's Biggest Bangers! [Expanded] In the end, selection came down to resonance. Which songs stuck? Which records translated across clubs, playlists, and repeat plays? Judged by that metric, this list still delivers. Why John Summit Dominated the Year One thing listeners will immediately notice across both volumes is the heavy presence of John Summit. That wasn't favoritism—it was math. Summit continues to generate reliable streaming numbers while actively pushing beyond his comfort zone. Rather than repeating past success, he's collaborating with established vocalists and artists who haven't necessarily crossed into the mainstream. That approach results in original records that feel intentional rather than formulaic. Yes, he could easily deliver another “Shiver.” Instead, he's expanding his range. Along the way, Summit has also revisited classics like Sweet Disposition, Silence, and I Wanna Go, using them as connective tissue between generations. Between those moments, he released tracks such as Palm of My Hands, Focus, and Light Years, which showcase genuine artistic growth while giving his live sets far more dimension. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2jQjvNtawA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hizmDQ83kRI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNHfPqti1V8 Other Artists Who Defined the Year Beyond Summit, several names consistently showed up in the data. PAWSA, Prospa, and Odd Mob all posted strong streaming numbers that matched their growing influence on the global house scene. Meanwhile, David Guetta and Hypaton delivered one of the year's standout reinterpretations by sampling Bonnie Tyler's early-'80s classic Total Eclipse of the Heart for Together. It's dramatic, bold, and unapologetically built for big rooms—one of Party Favorz' favorite remixes of 2025. James Hype also maintained momentum with Don't Wake Me Up and Waterfalls, proving his run over the last few years is no fluke. In a surprise twist, Jonas Blue caught listeners off guard with the house-driven Edge of Desire, which performed far better than many expected. Clementine Douglas: A Defining Voice After last year's chart-topping collaboration with Calvin Harris on Happy, Clementine Douglas made it clear she's no one-off success. In 2025, she appeared prominently across multiple key releases—reuniting with Harris on Blessings, teaming with MK on Come Find Me, and joining Sonny Fodera on Tell Me. Few vocalists shaped the sound of the year as consistently as she did. Closing the Year Strong So while 2025 may not go down as a banner year for Dance and Club music, it certainly wasn't a loss. These two volumes capture the biggest records, the most memorable hooks, and the tracks that carried us through crowded floors and long nights. As Volume 2 lands in early 2026, Volume 1 sets the tone—focused, intentional, and packed with highlights worth revisiting. Welcome to Top Dance Songs of 2025 Volume 1.Until the next time...ENJOY! Again Paul answers the obvious question based on what he had just said. He said that God used the unrighteousness of man, specifically in the case of David, to show He is the one who changes the heart so that He is just when He declares a man innocent. The obvious question for those who love sin is why don't we just sin more, if God uses the sin of man to prove His faithfulness and righteousness? Should we not just pursue sin? The answer is obviously of course not. Increasing sin in the world is not a blessing, otherwise how could God judge the world. Just because our sin results in the glory of God doesn't mean that it is unjust for God to judge the sin. Because people don't understand (or don't want to understand) what Paul is saying, they pretend that he is pointing them to be greater sinners since God will use their great sin for His glory. Armenians continue to use this argument against Calvinists. If God is going to save who He is going to save, our sin doesn't matter. That is as much a lie now as it was at the time of David.
Sometimes the perfect words show up when you need them most. We start with a surprisingly powerful bit of holiday inspiration from Mr. Rogers — a reminder of kindness and humanity that still resonates today. And while diet and exercise play their part, researchers are uncovering far more advanced ways to slow aging at a cellular level. Some of the most intriguing experiments can literally make worms appear younger, think better, and live twice as long. Coleen Murphy, professor at Princeton University and Director of Princeton's Glenn Foundation for Research on Aging, explains where longevity science is heading and what it may one day mean for us. She is author of How We Age: The Science of Longevity (https://amzn.to/3GKDKF5). Most of us have avoided doing something — trying out, speaking up, taking a shot — because we feared what other people might think. That fear is powerful, and it holds people back in ways we rarely acknowledge. Who is the "prince of this world"? It is Satan and none other. He is a rebel and the father of lies. And even he will be overthrown by God, and therefore all his followers will. And God has been gracious enough to send a Comforter to reprove the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgement, to help deliver the world from the clutches of this prince.
It's panto season and panto villains don't come much bigger than Simon Cowell. The music mogul's made a career and fortune playing the Bad Guy on TV talent shows. But is there more to him - and crucially, is it good PR for him to show a different side? This week, David Yelland and Simon Lewis wade through the blizzard of publicity created ahead of Simon Cowell's latest show - to piece together a PR jigsaw that hints at his attempts to stay relevant while also offering glimpses into his world that he may not have intended. On the extended edition on BBC Sounds, what happens when a CEO goes missing in action? The good people of Tunbridge Wells are once again disgusted - following a drinking water crisis in the spa town. And their mood has not been helped by the boss of South Eastern Water, David Hinton, refusing to give any interviews. If the buck stops with you, do you have a duty to show your face in public - or can there be very good reasons for staying invisible when everything is going wrong? Also, what is going on at HSBC? There's a distinct whiff of chaos around the search for a new CEO. George Osborne had been heavily touted, only for the job to be given to a 76-year-old internal candidate who, by all accounts, might not be hanging around for long. Given it's one of the most prestigious roles in global finance, where is the succession planning? And what does all this confusion at the top mean for the bank's reputation?Producer: Duncan MIddleton Editor: Sarah Teasdale Executive Producer: Eve StreeterMusic by Eclectic Sounds. The Eagles have faced scrutiny throughout the season, and while some criticism is warranted due to inconsistent performances, Kevin Cooney questions whether the judgment has been overly severe. He observes that no team in the NFL stands out as dominant, suggesting that the Eagles still have the potential to make a significant playoff run. However, the recent shoulder surgery of Jalen Carter, which will sideline him for several games, may impact this playoff push. Cooney notes that Carter's playing time has decreased, indicating that this might be an opportune moment to prioritize his health for the postseason. The Phillies are navigating a critical offseason with key free agents, including JT Realmuto, Kyle Schwarber, and Ranger Suarez. Kevin shares his perspective on Schwarber, who is anticipated to return to the team, while Realmuto and Suarez have been the subject of potentially leaving. If the thought of walking into a holiday gathering leaves you worrying about how others will judge your body, you are so not alone. When your body has changed, you're no longer dieting, and you're surrounded by family members who love to comment on weight, food, and "being good," it can feel incredibly vulnerable. But you don't have to white-knuckle your way through it this year. In this episode, we're getting real about what it's like to show up in your here-and-now body, and how to do it with confidence, clarity, and self-trust. You'll learn practical strategies to ground yourself before you walk through the door, what to do in the moment if insecurity hits, and how to gently (or firmly!) shut down comments about your weight or food choices. I'll talk through body comparison, facing relatives who are on the latest diet, and managing that "everyone is judging me" feeling. You'll leave with scripts you can actually use, boundaries you'll feel proud of holding, and a plan to support yourself emotionally before, during, and after the gathering. You deserve to enjoy your holidays without policing your body, and this episode will help you do exactly that! Episode Highlights

1. The Finality of This Judgement 2. The Totality of This Judgement 3. The Beauty of This Judgement Scripture: Revelation 20 Psalters: 113A, 136A, 50C, 90C, 72G
Some teach that James 3:1 speaks of Christian teachers/pastors being judged more harshly by God than other believers. However, the judgment in the passage is not from God but from people. Scripture is clear that all believers (including pastors and teachers!) have passed from judgment into life (John 5:24), and we are no longer under any condemnation (Romans 8:1). However, Bible teachers are often in the spotlight and their actions are judged more critically by those around them.
It is an important message to understand just how seriously God views the ungodly. Specifically, those who secretly bring destructive heresies into the church. But this is not just a message about judgment, it is a Gospel message. One that shows us that even in judgment God loves His own so much that He saves them to Himself! This is Good News!
Carl and Mike come back with some Falcons talk as they share thoughts on their conversation with Kalen DeBoer and what he had to say in regards to Michael Penix Jr. They also discuss how they feel about the importance of Sunday's game against the Patriots and should the team lose, the impact it could have on Raheem Morris' future as the team's head coach leading Mike to believe Morris was an uninspiring hire due to the fact he believes Morris had previously shown he was not the one for the job when he was the Falcons interim.
How You Respond to Jesus, In Your Earthly Life, Will Determine How You Are Judged By Jesus MESSAGE SUMMARY: Jesus claimed to be the unique, divine Son of God; therefore, Jesus is on an equal footing with God. Jesus said that He would one day judge the world. How you respond to Jesus, in your life, will determine how you are judged. The Apostle John summarizes, in John 20:27-29, the interchange between Jesus and the Apostle Thomas when Thomas realizes who Jesus, the man that he had been following for years, is: “Then he said to Thomas, 'Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe' Thomas answered him, ‘My Lord and my God!' Jesus said to him, ‘Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.'”. You, as follower of Jesus, have not seen Jesus or His wounds. Therefore, do you believe through your faith; and are you able, by your faith, to say: “My Lord and my God!”? If not, why not? TODAY'S PRAYER: Lord, you know how difficult it is for me to be in silence before you. At times it feels almost impossible, given the demands, distractions, and noise all around me. I invite you to lead me to a quiet, silent place before you — to a place where I can hear you as Elijah did. In Jesus' name, amen. Scazzero, Peter. Christians will not face any judgment for their sins. Christ died to take away our sins, once and for all (Hebrews 10:14). As a result, we have passed from judgment into new life in Christ, and there is now no condemnation for us (John 5:24; Romans 8:1).
If you'll recall, Romans chapter two is really like a courtroom scene, where all of mankind is guilty, and without excuse. We will stand before God the judge one day to give an account for our lives. There is a way to be declared not guilty, and that's through trusting in Christ and turning from your sin. Our salvation has nothing to do with any deed we do, and that's an important point to remember. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/621/29
We see injustice in our world, sin being celebrated, and evil seems to be triumphing. It leaves some to wonder when God will step in and do something about it. Well, the fact is, God will judge. The Bible assures us of that. And when He does, it will be according to deeds, truth and accumulated guilt. That rises to the surface in today's study of Romans two. What happens when a 29,000 lb horizontal machining center reaches the end of its life? In this episode, we talk about tearing one down — what parts we salvaged, what went to scrap, and how much it was actually worth in the end. We also share the messy reality of what you find inside a decades-old machine and how we handled the teardown without expensive rigging help. But before (and after) that, there's a lot more going on in this episode. We talk about costly mistakes — like scrapping parts due to a threading error — and the lessons that come with resetting tooling and redoing work. We also get into forklift talk, DIY rigging, carbide recycling tips, machine cleaning routines, and how we keep the shop running efficiently. And then we wrap things up with one of our favorite new segments: Yayhoo or Nayhoo — where we judge some of the dumbest and most questionable shop hacks we've ever seen. From sketchy vise tricks to cigarette paper shims, we give our honest takes on whether these hacks are clever shortcuts or disasters waiting to happen.

FREE training here: https://programs.tracyotsuka.com/signup_____Sometimes, the most humbling moments teach us the most about ourselves. Tracy recently found herself in Santa Barbara, recording courses for major companies like LinkedIn Learning and Google. After three flawless, scripted trainings, she was asked to do an impromptu training on ten ADHD tips. Despite having written a book and recorded 350 podcast episodes, Tracy couldn't do it. Her brain needs a runway to get off the ground, and being forced to wing it made her brain refuse to cooperate. That experience forced her to confront every ADHD pitfall she coaches other women through. In this solo episode, Tracy introduces her "table legs" analogy for understanding how ADHD challenges are interconnected. RSD, feeling judged, overthinking, perfectionism, and their cousins all act like legs holding up a table built on self-doubt and shame. Here's what Tracy discovered: you don't have to fix everything at once. Kick out just a few of those legs, and the whole table collapses. Tracy walks through each "mental mindfield," shows how they're connected, and offers practical strategies for interrupting these cycles. This episode is for anyone trapped in the endless loop of ADHD perfectionism and self-doubt. Tracy's vulnerable story and actionable framework prove that these patterns don't disappear with success—but they can be dismantled.Resources: Website: https://tracyotsuka.comInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/tracyotsukaYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@tracyotsuka4796 Free Training: https://programs.tracyotsuka.com/signupSend a Message: Your Name | Email | Message Instead of Struggling to figure out what to do next? Fr. Mike reflects on some of the ways that people turn away from God, including: worshipping idols, fasting for selfish reasons, and not honoring the sabbath. He also highlights the passage from Ezekiel 18 that tells us that each person will be judged by their own actions, and not by those of their parents or children. The readings are Isaiah 57-58, Ezekiel 17-18, and Proverbs 13:5-8. For the complete reading plan, visit ascensionpress.com/bibleinayear.
