    In the first years of the 2000s, a ruthless serial killer roamed the streets of Mexico City. Juana Barraza, a wrestler with the nickname of ‘The Silent Woman', grew up with an alcoholic, negligent mother who was incapable of love, and was quick to sell her daughter for a single beer. The relationship between the two drove Juana to gruesome acts as an adult, attacking and killing 40 old women, if not more, specifically targeting women who are 60 and older, who live alone. Join us as we dive into the life, crime, and prosecution of Juana Barraza.

Episode five features junior John Desordi who over the past summer interned for the GOP Candidate Jack Ciattarelli who is running for the Governor of New Jersey against Incumbent Governor Phil Murphy. Desordi discussed his role as an intern in the Ciattarelli campaign and what policies Ciattarelli would implement if he is the next elected Governor. Furthermore, we spoke about our reactions to Senator Ted Cruz's visit to Catholic University for his Verdict podcast. Desordi also spoke about his current Congressional internship for Congressman Darrell Issa from California's 50th District.

Professor Anderson is the director of the documentary Coogan's Way, which is about a bar in Washington Heights New York City. The documentary was released in May 2021. In addition, Professor Anderson goes into the making and promotion of Coogan's Way. Professor Anderson discusses some of the high profile figures with whom he had to conduct interviews in order to complete the documentary of this one special bar.

Episode fourteen features senior James Higgins, one of the hosts of Nation's Pastime in the Nation's Capital. James spoke about the up-to-date MLB lockout negotiations. James is a member of the Cardinal Sports Association on campus. James talked regarding the upcoming event on March 1st, 2022 where J.J. Putz, a former MLB baseball and currently the President's Assistant of the Arizona Diamondbacks is speaking over zoom to CUA students. Since James is graduating in May 2022, James expressed some of his post-graduation plans.
