We Came, We Saw, We Podcasted's recent posts to audioboom.com
Welcome to Season 06 of We Came, We Saw, We Podcasted. We catch up on our time apart (and some time together), we tackle some news, we revisit our old sing-song and of course, there's a quiz. Listen, laugh, like, share. Please and thank you.
This week, Bryan's mum found a bag of old crap in the loft. In it was a rather interesting folder. Weirdly Rob has the exact same folder. We play a kind of really rubbish top trumps. Of course, there is one final quiz before the summer break, but there is also another little game concerning a very British saying and the Prime Minister David Cameron (who was in charge at the time of recording). So, until our return in September, maybe October, it depends... Enjoy x
Rob and Bryan have had a good week! ... well apart from snot noses and gammy thumbs. We have all misheard and sung wrong lyrics to our favorite songs right? Well 2000 people have been surveyed about their own lyrical faux pas and the results are amazing. With a quiz, a dog and a tickety boo or two you have this weeks episode of We Came We Saw We Podcasted. Enjoy
Bonjour. Guten Tag. Hola. After another week off (blame EU), we're back!! If you were lucky enough to find yourself in a field at the weekend, you may have a better idea as to what this week's Quiz is about. Complete with the flu (Bryan) and a gammy thumb (Rob), our message is simple: Be Positive. And maybe start a public sing-song with us as we sing our favourite european song for potentially the last time EVER!!* Enjoy x *you must be joking ;)
"Strong spring winds and summer breezes, only add strength to my sneezes..." On this weeks episode, Rob is preparing to go to Disneyland and Bryan is full of the hay fever. An old buddy returns this week and can Rob finally win a quiz this season? You know what to do...achoo
Salut, yo. Whether it's a good thing or a bad thing Rob is fully voiced again this episode but Bryan's eyes are failing him. It's been a strange week in the world of news with intimate massage and cheese rolling just some of the news tit bits. Bryan has a new theme to the quiz, and apparently can't count to five, and the song returns! Just press play.
Rob has sore nodules and no Yogi tea so his voice is pretty redundant this week. But have no fear - Bryan is full of voice and vigor! Rob went all yuppy over the weekend and went for cocktails and musicals whilst Bryan has been growing a plethora of grey hairs and cutting lawns. There is no song this week but a very musical quiz. Enjoy
Well, well. This week is jam-packed with people, including: Louie Spence & Paul Danan(?) Turns out we've now been on ITV, BBC3, Channel 4 and Channel 5. Bryan got hassle on the road and Rob stood in a field for the weekend. Bryan (65%) is still following Justin Bieber and Rob (35%) has lost his voice. Should make the song a little more interesting...
Bryan had to break into his own house this week and he only has himself to blame this time. Rob has injured his back playing American football and it hurts him to laugh, and just like Bryan, he only has himself to blame. There is a quiz about the quiz before the quiz this week and there was a boring conference in London this past week which Rob & Bryan have decided is going to be their annual jolly boys outing. Enjoy.
And breathe... The weather is confusing everyone. We recorded the podcast whilst it was snowing today... Snowing!! IN APRIL!! Whether you are having problems with your computer, your job, your sex or your ex, this episode will hopefully make you smile* Only one way to find out. *Smile not guaranteed.
It all got a bit mad this week. Bryan's been having a "life mardi" while Rob is getting all excited having booked his summer holiday to... (Your guess here) There's fighting Bulldozers, Newsagent Window Advertisements and Boaty McBoatface is back. AND, just when you thought the Quiz had become complex enough, there's now ANOTHER ingredient thrown in to the mixer for good measure. Enjoy (if you can keep up) x
It's not been too bad a week for both Bryan & Rob. Bryan's boys are back at school and Rob's still tickedy boo!! There's another new element to the Quiz this week thanks to a listener suggestion (don't forget to let us know how you do @WCWSWP) There's maths, wine & chicken (not related) And who do you think is more annoying?? Only one way to find out...
Hey now, Rob is better, which is good news. Bryan watched WrestleMania on Sunday and he also became an Uncle once more. Justin Bieber got dreadlocks this week and became a "racist". Apparently... So, Bryan tenuously creates this weeks quiz theme around bad Popstar hairstyles. Who will be this week's winner? Who will succumb to the beans? A poo museum , joyriding on a kids toy and a meat awards party-crasher who loves a veg, it's all in this week's episode of We Came, We Saw, We Podcasted.
It had to happen eventually - Sickness!! As Rob deals with some horrible death-bug, Bryan has the children to deal with as they are off school. AGAIN!! They stole an hour this week from us, what does it all mean anyway? Ever wondered what the ladies get up to when they two by two to the toilet? Will there be actual chuck up on this weeks quiz? And have the jelly beans gone bad? You know what to do. Enjoy x
Salutations fine folk. It's been another busy week. Whilst Bryan has been working, Rob has been playing Mrs Doubtfire to his kids. If you are a fan of zombie movies then Bryan has a great tip for a new one that's on the way. It's 3-0 to Bryan leading into this weeks quiz and what do you call a £200m ship? Boaty-McBoatface of course!
Back once again with the ill behavior. This week episode is quite lively. This maybe because it's been a pretty good week overall. Rob has been bouncing and Bryan has been pondering about news on a plastic five pound note that is coming to the market.. What is 'Purose'? What is this weeks quiz theme?' What is the 'Live (in the) Lounge' song this week? All questions that can be answered by just pressing play.
Another week, another podcast. Bryan has had a paranormal week after exposing the 'aliens' on last weeks show and Rob is still getting his arse kicked playing American Football. Mothers Day happened and talking of mums, how would you feel if your mum was a popstar? And this weeks quiz is for the ladies with some extra jeopardy.
We're back!!! Bryan and Rob catch up on nearly 3 months of happenings (in less than 3 minutes). Bryan has a message from far far away. Rob has his guitar. Some things have stayed. Some things have gone. But the one thing We Came, We Saw, We Podcasted would not be complete without... The Quiz is staying!!! Enjoy x
Rob turns 29 today!!! As in today when we recorded this. On Tuesday. The 8th. Anyway, he's having a wonderful time. Bryan, not so much. How the table's have turned since last week. It was Former Christmas No.1s last week, so take a guess what this week's Quiz is... Oh and this week's Podcast is made from approximately 70% Primark. Enjoy x
Week by week it gets harder to Come, See & Podcast but by the power vested in us by the state of Las Vegas we're going to get to 50!!! Bryan has welcomed Christmas into his abode. The tree is up. The Advent Calendars are open. And the Christmas movies are on!! And Rob... Well, Rob has gotten a bit grumpy. We re-visit the same Quiz from this time last year (to see if Rob can do any better) as all manner of dooms impend us. Enjoy x
What do you mean, "Where have we been??" Well if you take a listen, we will explain... Bryan has no idea why the Quiz is why the Quiz is and Rob demonstrates new levels of stupidity involving marshmallows. Ready?? Enjoy x
Bryan went to a private screening of James Bond this week and ate avocado (He's changed) whilst Rob has been risking his life paint balling. Another well known musician is having a bad week. The quiz theme is 'Greatest Movie Songs' - and instead of a game of Eh Cumpari this week the boys have some news to share. Enjoy x
Some mighty (and some not-so mighty) challenges were overcome to bring you this week's Podcast. Bryan's boys are still trying to kill him with their germs. No-one's tried killing Rob this week yet (although death may find him this coming weekend). We go into great detail about Justin Bieber's week. Which surprised us as much as it may surprise you!! And what happens when you add "fireworks" to Eh Cumpari?? Enjoy x
Bryan is having a full on week, what with the children off school for the week, and the world's times going out of sync. Rob has been hearing one of his & Bryan's favourite words around a lot. Even the rich & famous is saying it!! Halloween is this weekend, so guess what this week's quiz theme is? And if you ever wondered what the hell 'Eh Campari' sounds like sung in English, then wonder no more... Enjoy x
Stand back!! Not only do we have a Boisterous Boris throwing his weight around but Bryan's throwing his germs about too!! And it's not exactly been all rainbows and ponies for Rob, with a not-so tickedy boo week. But fear not, for The Apprentice is back (if you like that sort of thing) and to celebrate the 1st Anniversary of the Podcast, the guys were paid a visit from some old friends... Gesundheit Enjoy x
It's a Birthday special for Bryan this week... But he has been having trouble with boilers & books and Rob got denied on his big night out at Oktoberfest. It's not a quiz for Rob this week, so who is it for? They learn quite a bit about chickens and have a birthday special round of Eh Cumpari. Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag Bryan! Enjoy x
It's been another great week for the boys... Bryan started his new job and was also interviewed on the BBC. Rob has a new custom car and hasn't caught that cold yet which is going around. The quiz is epic in many way and 'Hey Buddy' is lyric-less. Oh and we both escaped something quite nasty. Genießen x
It's been a good week for both Rob & Bryan. Bryan has started his life of school runs and found something strange when it comes to mums at the school gate. He also has managed to get a job. Rob's early morning breakfast show is going well, but he's been getting lairy when it comes to playing 90's band M People. The quiz is on, as always. And they have a game of 'Hey Buddy' with a difference. Involving their favourite biscuit.
Rob went Nuclear at the weekend and lost his voice in the process. Bryan just watched t' telly but noticed something quite strange from one of the programs and forms this week's quiz theme around it. Its week two of our brand new game 'Hey Buddy' and we go H*A*M on our very own Prime Minister. Enjoy x #primeswine
We're back!! The start of a new term and we are full of beans and raring to go. Bryan rates Hotels around the East of England & Rob describes what there is to do in the UK's most Southerly town. Rob's Big News that everyone was waiting for, then stopped waiting for, then forgot about is actually announced. For real this time. The Quiz is back!! There's a new game!! And there might just be a Lullaby-bye on the end too.
The summer is here (and in typical English fashion, it's flipping raining!!) and by the sounds of things, not a moment too soon, with both Rob & Bryan very much looking forward to their holibobs. But not before tidying up all the mess they've made in the past 13 weeks. If you've been competing with Rob at the Quiz, it's time to find out if you're a Quiz Winner or a Quiz Loser!!! And the final musical recommendation of a track we think you should listen to this week, is Mozez' (@Mozezofficial) Wings.
Having been returned back to the Stone Age (albeit temporarily), Bryan has not only been faced with electrical issues but the six week holiday blues. Rob's only issue is choosing what car he wants to buy. As the summer holidays begin, Bryan quizzes Rob on his knowledge of the Billboard Top 100's #1 Summer Tunes. Another fly risks life and wing. The very kind V I C T O R I A (@VictoriaBandUK) allowed us to play the full version of a musical recommendation we think you should listen to this week, namely their forthcoming single 'Summertime'. And finally, as we're doing a "Best Of" next week, let us know which of your favourite bits you'd like to hear again and we'll stitch it all together in our end of term episode.
Bryan filled his weekend with sunshine and a dog. Rob, a picnic in London. There's mention of swinging cats, breakfast club & losing a tent. Just like Bryan, Rob was in a band. You can see/hear the results of in this week's Show & Tell. If you're a dad, have a dad or know a dad then you'll probably be mentally scarred by the images this week's Quiz conjures. It's a selection of Old School Dad Bangers. And the news we've all been waiting for... Rob's Big News is FINALLY here!!!
Could this be the week Rob reveals all?? Either way, Bryan reveals a rather strange habit concerning movies. In light of the lovely summer weather we've had recently, the Quiz can act as mental stimulation or a superb summer playlist for your next BBQ. And as we creep into the 2nd week of Wimbledon, we decided to get behind Britain's Andy Murray (even if he is a Moody Bastard - Oh wah wah!!)
It's been a fairly normal week in the world of Rob. And Bryan is still on his heath kick and eating Camu Camu. We watched some Glastonbury over the weekend, and decided to theme this week's quiz based on our fav's and the not so fav's. Stephen Fry had a go at Bryan's Beard (sort of) so Bryan had a few words to say. The Podcast was invaded by a Fly. Will that fly survive or die. And yes we talk about Kanye. Stick with us.
Rob has some exciting news!!! Which he can't share. So not really sure why he brought it up?! And Bryan is drinking Almond Milk now. He's changed. One only person, in the world, is allowed to cut Bryan's beard again. Have a guess who. Reflecting on Rob missing Foo Fighters at Wembley, this week's Quiz highlights those Artists who have a "Performance Faux Pas Video on YouTube". Have you had a trip or fall on stage?? Call us now!! You could be the Greatest Bastard!! And with a plethora of new music falling upon our ears this week, we have samples of new Everything Everything & Beck AND a full-length version of The Gaslight Troubadours' Playtime (thank you to them for their thumbs up).
So while Rob was being all cultured he got sick (definitely London Flu). Meanwhile, Bryan has been hanging out with a fitness guru!! If you like Colouring Books (who doesn't), Dinosaurs (who doesn't) or Free Pizza (need we say it again) then this week's News Not News will be right up your street. Reckon you could name 5 Musicians who have turned Actors?? It's Musical Actors on this week's Quiz. Stealing shoes means you're a bad person. It also means you're the Greatest Bastard. And if we could make you listen to just one song all week, we would. Instead, we would recommend that you listen to Yelawolf's Back To Bama.
It's been another rollercoaster week for BP, but Rob was on hand to help out over the weekend. Stories that didn't quite make the News, but made this Podcast, include: The Pope doesn't watch TV, "How to move a Lighthouse" and Exam Stress. The Quiz?? Previous Quiz Questions (from the Archive) that Rob got Wrong. If you bash bears or promo a lot, you're the Greatest Bastard. Bryan has one last solution to the New Music Crisis involving fire!!! And Rob has this week's musical recommendation that he thinks you should listen to...
Bryan's been out in the sun. And Rob's been out drinking. Brace yourself... In the News: A Cow gets shot. A Tiger rides a car. Fish are sold on the M5. Scrabble gets dench and lolz. And Conchita wants to hang out with Putin. The B.E.A.R.D. is proper back!! Voiceover man is on form for the Quiz, but will Rob be?? The Greatest Bastard this week is: Bryan's Gardening Neighbours & Putin. Possibly the best Show & Tell yet, as we offer a further solution to the music crisis. And this week's musical recommendation of a track we think you should listen to is: Jamie xx - I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times)
The Boil has gone!!! So Bryan has replaced it with some level 1 German (making him a handsome 7.3) And Rob has been shouting at people in a field (at The Nuclear Races). Dead Cats dancing, fire in a Hot-Tub, a fat Biscuit worker, late Trains and a Shark on Twitter make up this week's News (Not News). Got a Hot-Tub?? You're the Greatest Bastard. Sunday was nice. So, we had a Sunny-day Sunday Kitchen Playlist Quizioke!! Bryan has another solution towards the "New Music Crisis" for Show & Tell, and it stinks. And this week’s musical recommendation of a track we think you should listen to is… Passenger - A Thousand Matches
Bryan's been to the Doctors this week, he didn't like the Exit Polls and he found a sad Trombone. Rob went to Go Ape, had some Chico Time and spoke to Nigel Farage. Question: Whatever happened to Ted Danson?? In the News (Not News): Dr. Kanye West, Penis Voting, Space Coffee, Japanese Monkey Charlotte, Guinness Sauce, the Bangladeshi National Anthem and a Holiday. If you like TV, you'll love this week's Quiz. For this week's Show & Tell, Bryan has found a (potential) solution to the music crisis. YOU are the Greatest Bastard this week (assuming you're British and you had the right to vote in the General Election) And if you listen to one thing this week (other than this Podcast obviously) make it RJD2's Doin' It Right. We highly recommend.
Bryan shows Rob his Boil (or Carbunkle, as it's actually 2 Boils) but he’s styling them out, May the 4th be with you, Royal Daughter & misunderstood Emojis. What does a one-earred man, the American Manure Expo & German Beer have in common?? Well, Tina from The Metro is Greatest Bastard (along with a very long list of musicians) Bryan shows us how we're running out of music (and we have been for a while) in this week's Show & Tell And in light of Rob's failed Mumford & Sons knowledge there's some brand new music from them!!
Who would have guessed we could Beatbox?! (We certainly wouldn't) This week: Rob has a broken voice and the hiccoughs. Bryan is underwhelmed by Periscope and the Royal Baby. So, Rob drinks Throat Comfort and Bryan says, "Wa'gwan??" In the News (Not News); Dog Poo DNA, Rent-a-Hen, a Goat Race, the 5 tonne Rice Krispie treat, a 90th birthday at McDonalds and a 2yr old "DJ". Show & Tell is a rather talented young man/old woman/group of hippies (we're not sure) who re-makes pop songs into children's lullabies - @rockabyebaby It's the "Under 30 UK Music Rich List" Quiz. And even though Bryan is the Greatest Bastard this week, he does have a rather good musical recommendation for you.
As is a regular thing on this podcast, illness has returned, gifting Bryan with a lovely cough. In the News (Not News) there's a Birthday Bear, a man throws a bean bag at a lion and the Chinese Stock Exchange breaks itself. Musical wonderment comes from Larkins. Meghan Trainor is the Greatest Bastard this week (as is the man who trimmed Bryan's beard a fortnight ago). Of course, there's a Quiz. And turns out Bryan can play the Melodica!!
