Ein lang gehegter Traum, der in Erfüllung ging? Nicht unbedingt. Sie habe sich nämlich gar nie bewusst dazu entschieden, Tänzerin zu werden. Als Katja Wünsche acht Jahre alt ist, stossen ihre Eltern in der Zeitung auf ein Inserat für eine Ballettschule. Und denken sich: Ballett, das würde diesem Mädchen mit dem grossen Bewegungsdrang doch guttun. Damit fängt alles an. Acht Jahre später belegt Katja Wünsche am «Prix de Lausanne», dem berühmten Tanzpreis, den dritten Platz, im Jahr darauf den zweiten. Wird nach Abschluss der Ausbildung in Stuttgart in die Kompagnie aufgenommen. Wechselt 2012 nach Zürich – und wird schliesslich Erste Solistin. Ein Publikumsliebling sei sie, schreibt die Kritik, ein «Popstar des Balletts» mit unwahrscheinlichem Talent. «Mir war immer wichtig, dass ich auf der Bühne authentisch rüberkomme, dass ich die Menschen berühre», sagt Katja Wünsche selbst. Doch irgendwann kommt der Zeitpunkt, an dem sie merkt: Es ist Zeit, aufzuhören. Eine Diagnose ist schon einmal einer Erleichterung. Viele neurodivergente Menschen fühlen sich ständig fehl am Platz und scheitern beim Versuch sich anzupassen. Leute mit ADHS gelten als faul, Autist:innen als kalt und unempathisch.Turns out: Das Gegenteil ist der Fall. Kaum jemand entspricht den ADHS-Klischees so wenig wie Judith Holofernes: Die „Wir sind Helden“-Sängerin ist so ziemlich der liebenswerteste, unkomplizierteste, bodenständigste Popstar unter Gottes Sonne. Sie hat scheinbar alles im Griff. Aber seit ihrer Kindheit muss sie sich ihr ihr unkompliziertes Auftreten hart erarbeiten, Vor 4 Jahren hat Judith ihre Diagnose bekommen. Seitdem ist sie viel nachsichtiger mit sich selbst und findet: Auch die anderen können sich mal anpassen!Ihre ADHS-Geschichte erzählt sie nah wie selbstironisch in ihrem Roman „Hummelhirn“. Aber beim Schreiben sind auch schon einige Tränen geflossen, erzählt Judith in dieser Flexikonfolge. Mark und Ines Benecke setzen sich für ein Autismus-freundliches Umfeld ein. Der Kriminalbiologe verortet sich selbst im Autismus-Spektrum, seine Frau ist diagnostizierte Autistin. Sie bauen nicht selten sogar Bindung zu einem Gegenstand auf, und kaufen die letzte Dose Tomatenmark damit sie nicht so einsam ist.
