Exodus 14-16; Philippians 2 Red lights are a nuisance but they PROTECT us. -God had proven Himself to be a WAY MAKER. -God was going to PROVIDE for them anyway. -The Israelites were GROANING when they should have been GROWING. -What looks like a desert to us, may be FERTILE land for God. 1. Don't be a cactus. -Don't become accustomed to the DESERT. 2. Don't get stuck at the oasis. -God is CALLING you FURTHER. 3. Take your supply with you. -Let God LEAD and PROVIDE. www.whitefordwesleyan.com Give online Facebook
Exodus 14:10-14 Closed doors are there for a REASON. God LED the Hebrew people to where they were! The Hebrew people were asking, "Does God CARE?" While we wait, God WORKS! (Exodus 14:13, 14) God is at work CHANGING us. Standing still reminds us He is in CONTROL! (exodus 51:50) -What God wants most is for us to TRUST Him! As you stand still, MOVE! (Exodus 14:14) -We are to DELIGHT ourselves in Him. A closed-door puts the question before us, "Is God ENOUGH?" WAIT | TRUST | MOVE www.whitefordwesleyan.com Give online Facebook
John 4:25-42 No one who truly meets Jesus will be the SAME! The woman’s testimony focused on the person of JESUS CHRIST! (vs 10) The disciples were focused on the immediate; Jesus was focused on the ETERNAL! (vs 31-32) A Samaritan woman reaches her community: John 4:29 She told her STORY! It was a story of GRACE. She was EXCITED! We really do have the ANSWER! She INVITED others to see for themselves! Some things are meant to be SHARED! Whom have you shared the “life-giving water” with lately? whitefordwesleyan.com Follow us on Facebook Subscribe on YouTube
BARNABAS - The First Coach Various verses in Acts 1. Who is Barnabas? “Son of Encouragement” 2.Barnabas lives up to his character. 3. Barnabas partners with the Apostle Paul (Saul) on his First Missionary Journey. ______________________________________________________ RICH & DEB STINEHART During the mid-1990s, Rich and Deb, along with their two young children, served in Russia as Global Partners GO-Net missionaries. Since then, they have participated on mission teams to various countries. Believing that “missionaries are people too,” they have been passionate about connecting, encouraging, and praying for missionaries who have passed through their local church’s mission (GO) house. Global Partners has appointed Rich and Deb as missionary wellness coaches to Eastern Europe, where they will be applying their life, career, and coaching experience to enhance our missionaries’ impact. Therefore, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers (Galatians 6:10 NIV). Luke 10:24-37; Matthew 5 Jesus’ answer to the lawyer was “Good, now go DO IT!” The first part of the command seems EASIER than the second! Christians who do not love OTHERS have a credibility gap. The lawyer wanted to know whom he DIDN’T have to love! The Samaritan was moved with COMPASSION. (vs 33) Real compassion is BLIND. Real compassion will be COSTLY. Real compassion can be RISKY. The best sermon is the one that is LIVED! (vs 37) God is serious about how we treat each other!! “Let your LIGHT so shine…” Matthew 5:16
Where the Rubber Meets the Road Mark 12:30; Luke 18:18-25 Jesus condensed the law into LOVE GOD and love others. Loving God is the foundation for HOLY living. The actual Hebrew word for strength means “MUCHNESS” Agape love is always a “DOING” love rather than a “feeling” love! (I John 3:18) Jesus to the rich young ruler: “PROVE it!” (Luke 18:18-25) 1. To love God with all of our strength is to love PRACTICALLY. Is everything we have AVAILABLEto honor God? 2. To love God with all of our strength is to love Him PASSIONATELY. Have I “BOUGHT IN” and not “sold out?” 3. To love God with all of our strength is to love Him PRESENTLY. The opportunities are UNLIMITED! God is never satisfied with anything less than “ALL!”
Sunday, March 15, 2020 - Pastor Ben Ufford Verse for Life: “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.” Ephesians 1:7 The blood is the PROMISE He made. The blood is the SACRIFICE He paid. The blood is the POWER He displayed.
Sunday, March 8, 2020 - Pastor Rick Deisler Verse for Life: “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. I am the bread that came down from heaven.” John 6: 35,41 This Is My Body I Corinthians 11; Isaiah 53 We are to remember HIM! This meal is a moment of REVELATION and relationship. Jesus is the BREAD of Life To break the bread is a moment of IDENTITY (Heb. 4:15) Because He was 100% human He UNDERSTANDS! He has provided the perfect PATTERN for life! To break the bread is a moment of LOVE (Gal. 3:28-29) We all TAKE from one bread! We should focus on what makes us ONE!! To break the bread is a moment of HEALING (Isa. 53:4, 5) We were broken because of SIN!! Christ was “broken” for our BROKENNESS! Verse for Life: “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. I am the bread that came down from heaven.” John 6: 35,41

Sunday, February 23, 2020 We welcome missionary Brad Russ to our service this morning, Missionary to Zambia Verse for Life: “Rejoice in the Lord always, again I say rejoice!” Philippians 4:4 The Advantage of Anxiety Matthew 6; Philippians 4:4-7 Worry is an addiction we tend to IGNORE. Anxiety is the THIEF of joy! Worry adds NOTHING to our lives! (Matthew 6:26) When worry comes knocking, live this motto: (Philippians 4:6) Worry about NOTHING, pray about EVERYTHING! Paul’s antidote for worry: Vs 4: LIGHTEN up! Rediscover the “happy side” of LIFE! Vs 5, 8: Take a deep BREATH. Refocus on the Sovereign LORD. Vs 6-7: Give your worries to HIM! Release it in PRAYER! Vs 9: Discover His PEACE in every circumstance. Rest in the PROMISES of God.

Our Tuning Note Pastor Rick Deisler WWC Welcomes the IWU Wind Ensemble Under the direction of Dr. Michael Flanagin Verse for Life: “Let everything that hath breath Praise the Lord.” Hebrews 12:1 Musicians have a standard pitch by which they TUNE their instruments! Not tuning the instruments will cause DISCORD. Too many are OUT OF TUNE with God! Our lives make great music when we are in HARMONY with God’s will. Who keeps our lives in tune? Look to JESUS! (Heb. 12:1)

The Copernicus Shift Psalm 100:3 Attention: The earth is NOT the center of the universe. The world does not revolve around US! Our problem is that SELF keeps getting in the way! The shift…. 1. Acknowledge WHO He is! “The Lord is God!” We exist to make a big deal out of HIM! 2. Understand WHO we are! “He who made us…” We are not our OWN! (I Cor. 6:19; Jer. 10:23) 3. Embrace our ROLE “We are His sheep…” Love being a REFLECTOR. Are you living a God centered life?
