Can't sing won't sing!hi guys welcome to the tale teller look now I've spelled that out or I've spoken it more clearly in the hope that YouTube can saying they usually get it wrong so maybe I should just say it's I surveillance that tail or Club there we go maybe that'll work who knows who knows um news I I launched a little app yesterday of free ringtones app and it's a free one and I did it with jot I think it's dropped form so I think jotform really well they they sort of did these apps so people like beauticians and service um suppliers could um have formed on their site and sort of fill them in and what have you I've got the windows open Can You Hear we've got a bit of a storm but it's so hot that any minute now it's going to pour down and I've got to go out on my bicycle so um if you want to see what I wear go onto my YouTube in a minute because I'm going to show you um I've got four waterproof everything so anyway back to the the free app what it enables you to do actually add it to your phone um with a you know like an any other app and you'll just be able to click on that and it means that you don't have to go through spreaker iTunes so you know you don't have to subscribe anywhere I just think that's quite cool don't you um because the whole point of these is that they're free so I love today's one I absolutely adore it let me see what did I use I wanted to be an opera singer I still want to be an opera singer but obviously I'm far too old to start training now and I don't have the time actually I mean guys and girls if you want to do anything do it while you're young because when you get older there is no time there is no time to start you know retraining when you're you know practically about to retire I mean it's just a crazy I mean obviously I do lots of new stuff but in terms of a career that is very difficult it takes 20 years to to start a career to get a career going you know it takes a very very long time um so I always wanted to be an option though and I've got a lot of natural vibrato in my voice which I always have to remove when I do the ringtones because it just sells Out Of Tune well it is Altitude I mean the whole point of the vibrato is it's warbling around the Keynote or the note that you're playing um and you know I'm noticing that as we know but I still make great vocals using all of my fancy kit so mama says I did an operatic Loop and I was going to put a choir with this I'll do a choir version in a minute or later on this afternoon actually so this one I put my trusty up on it and Oprah because I love the art I just love it and then I did a bit of an alien voice so this is an alien Opera and I didn't really do that much else to it of course I retuned it and I completely changed the notes because the original that I sang was I think an a sharp major and B flat um but um just I don't know this is something about different Keys sometimes they work sometimes they don't so I put it in C major and then there was this sort of wayward a shot which hadn't changed up yet and you know what I just thought the out of key accidental it makes it sound a little bit alien and I kind of thought well that's what I'm trying to do here I'm trying to be an alien so it does if you if you stick an accidental in that initially you think I don't think that belongs there just double think that because actually it can sound it can sound really interesting and much more interesting than other people's music and I am all about making music that doesn't sound like anybody else's that's really my my go-to that's my motto you know why do you want to sound like anybody else that's just crazy why would you you know okay so if you want a career in pop music do that but I'm not sure to be honest that you can you know there's so many of us trying to get in into the mainstream I mean obviously I don't but if one of my if one of my compositions I mean I'm a composer familiar one of those entered the mainstreams on Adam I made minions I'm not going to turn around and say well I don't like the mainstream I'm not going to say that am I um it's just I find it difficult to create mainstream work um and this is another example of not very mainstream but I I'm a Storyteller and I really like the idea that with a ringtone sample or a loop or a jingle whatever you want to call these little Clips these mini songs that I make every day um they do have a story behind them they all have a story and that's why I use words I'm very lyrical in all my music it's all about the words and you know the music it doesn't take a second place but it needs to fit with the story to certainly and that's what makes a great film school if the music's fitting with the story and that doesn't mean um you can't be you know radical and change something up but it does need to fit all the same so here we go mama says alien Opera free for personal use you can buy this on on five and you can also buy it on the iPad ringtone app oh my God

okay so if you were listening to go you would have got the drum only track without the focus but this one is called it's same drums so three layers of drums really rich textures really love Lush lovely thumping sexy beats this one taking birdie deep inside also sexy now this is featuring Vapor Punk who's my secret plugin which I don't share with anyone that's just to get this particular sound that I go for um and another vocal I just I serve land stand really didn't do very much to it but I did do it in quite a low register so it was more like taking body deep inside so do you see what I mean obviously that's Out Of Tune but you see what I mean it's like rather than taking birdie so you can what I really like to do actually normally when if I was doing a single one of my singles with The Telltale Club I would record sometimes I record in a sort of Opera style and then lower it and the format right down and the pitch to a complimentary pitch remember you've got to stay in tune if you want it to sound uh tuneful um and harmonic and melodic you know you need to stay within the the rules of of Sharps and flats um so the one I usually use is five which is a third because you've got to count the shots Flats an octave which is really easy and then I think eight which is the fifth so that's normally what I do if I if I sing a bit of Opera and then I want to bring it down um I can bring it down an octave and then move some of the individual notes around and you really enjoy exciting things begin to occur with these sort of weird vocals and they create other years and because I'm obsessed with layers and tones in fact tones are much more important to me than than pitch and because you know I really like that I I love some of these accidents that happen sort of glitches really um there was a glitch with one of these and I had to just delete it I mean don't mess around with a glitch guys just either do it again or cut that verse out you know that's what I do now at one time I would work you know for three days trying to get a glitch out no point I mean you've still got your vocals if you're doing it yourself obviously but even so you know sometimes the you know the plugins the processes don't work with a human vocal because I've I've got a lot of vibrato in my voice so do you know what I mean stuff like that so I just now I'm Life's Too Short you know and I've got a business to run and it's all happening at the moment so um yeah it's been too long so here we go taking birdie deep inside which I sang as Bertie but it sounds more like birdie and I thought that's quite good isn't it I mean if you're called birdie or Bertie um or you answer to that you could answer to that this ringtone is for you my friends um I love it enjoy it I'll be back later thank you baby [Music]

iServalan is on the machine again!hello musicians welcome to the town center Club Studio do you know what there's a spider who is made home in the music studio and he's above the piano it doesn't bother me but I've always got you know I'm slightly distracted by him but he's only he's one is skinny legged skinny legged um and I'm leaving him there for a bit but I I'm not sure you know if he starts with buzz if it's a she if it starts reproducing or something I'm going to have to get the Hoover out but you know what do you do to these these beings who live in harmony with us you know do you kill them oh I don't know I always feel bad anyway yeah yeah Echo City ringtone female VOC that's my first one this is a naked vocal as I call them so it's got no accompaniment but it's not so naked that it hasn't got any plugins because I used the echo plug-in standard issue Echo massive Echo it's on the vocal plugins if you go to experimental it's got a list and um Echo is I don't know it's on that list somewhere or it's Echo vocal you'll find it you'll find it guys I mean it's got a search button as well and logic process you can just search but but this is um you know I mean you can alter it you can change it up you can make it more echoey or less echoey and could do all that um and you can I don't know if you can sync sync it to your your Beats in this in the plugin you might have to go to a place for that I haven't I look around but I forget where I find things so yeah I mean it's really basic guys it's so so basic but I can't I did tune it because do you know what if you if you if you write a vocal or singer vocal in like d and then you go up to like a D sharp but then you put your backing on and it's D majorno that doesn't have a D sharp course it doesn't also be a D sharp major dope um it sounds really off out of tune you know obviously it's not in tune so when you're using Echo just be a bit aware of that you you actually have to tune the echo to the bit of the music that it's being accompanied by oh you know what happens when you you play a guitar chords and it's in a minor and then you play you do another few strands and it's in C major if you're Echo overlapped that chord change it would sound Out Of Tune do you see what I'm saying um so I did put this in a tune thing I did move my notes around so I was in D Major um initially I screamed I sort of screamed it yeah like that so which sounded like you know cat dying um but you know a little bit of tweaking and you get this so this is free for you guys to use and uh share and all that um see what you can do with it and do send me something come and come over to the site or my Facebook or my Instagram or somewhere I'm a little bit hard to get hold of at the moment because of the we're setting up the merch shop and as we set up another one today and we're still waiting for the app know more about that I know you're here for a ringtone here you go yeah yeah yeah

Hello 大家好 本期，我们震撼连线我们的好朋友（Host: 戴布拉, Brad）进行一期Crossover，从电影和音乐的角度聊聊这部来自马丁斯科塞斯的音乐纪录片。如片名一样，这部电影记录了70年代摇滚乐队The Band于1976年11月25日感恩节的最后一场演唱会。 这场演唱会的豪华程度基本上是摇滚春晚的水平，嘉宾包括吉他之神Eric Clapton，披头士被遗忘的第四人Ringo Starr，老杨Neil Young，摇滚年代不可磨灭的文化印记Bob Dylan，民谣女诗人Joni Mitchell，滚石的Ronni Wood等等等等。 马丁斯科塞斯作为一位摇滚乐迷，为Bob Dylan, George Harrison, The Rolling Stone拍摄了纪录片，在受到邀请后看到演出Line-up后说“Van Morrison? Are you kidding? I have to do it. I don't have a choice." 这部电影单纯以观众的视角的记录了这场绝美的绝唱，中间穿插着马丁亲自和乐队成员的访谈片段，没有用叙事的镜头去讲述乐队的传奇故事，给人一种低调又极其真实的感觉。在十分casual的访谈中甚至不经意间完美定义了摇滚乐： _Levon Helm: ...you know, if it comes down to that area and if it mixes there with rhythm and dances, then you've got a combination of all those different kinds of music. At the end it was our sense of survival. It taught us all we know. Ep. 206: Ian Lara is just a regular Dominican kid from Queens, New York. Youngest of five and born to immigrant parents since a young age being funny became a way of life. He started comedy right after college after being told by some really successful lawyers that he should skip going to law school because it was a waste of time. He has loved every second since. Usually you can catch him performing every night in some of the best and worst shows in New York City, or he's on the road at a club or college near you. He’s is the host of the “OUT OF TUNE” music gameshow, featured in “Variety” and “Cosmopolitan”, and this year he taped a set for “Comedy Central Stand up Featuring Ian Lara”. Ian Lara might become a household name but his real dream is to one day get big enough where he can wear those big cowboy hats Pharrell wears to awards shows.
